The other TCG stores I…read morehave visited recently have been low in Riftbound stock, so I was very happy to see that this store carried both sealed product AND had one box of Riftbound bulk cards for each of the sets up until Unleashed. Best of all, the commons were only 25 cents per card! I did not play any games while I was there, but the store was full of players for multiple different games. I also appreciated that the store employees seemed to know some of the players by name, which tells me that they do see the store as a community space rather than just a business. What stood out to me the most though was my interaction with one of the employees named Anthony. He saw that I was picking up Riftbound cards and asked if I wanted him to introduce me to the other Riftbound players present and break the ice. While I declined the offer, I thought that it was a great gesture and yet another example of how this store cares about the community aspect of card games. While this store isn't near me, I can see myself going back soon, both to buy and play.

So as I'm checking out this other guy told me bulk is off limits until it's been price checked, and then told me my total of 58-60 cards was almost 30 bucks. I did the math, he charged me 50 cents per card and just counted the total up, talk about price gauging. Mind you, they had boxes of bulk stacked on top of each other, so who knows what's been checked or not either, watch me get a scolding for trying to master set some things. There's other card shops that actually do free bulk, I'm definitely gonna stick to them. EDIT: So after reading the other reviews left behind, I can definitely say they do lowball for whatever you bring in. I overheard this one couple bring in some cards that sounded rather high in value based on how the responses were for what they would offer and they were gonna give them a low offer, which I think they declined on some of the cards so good for them.

We wanted to rip some so we got an ETB and a tin, but we probably could have gotten a Perfect Order booster box too! At MSRP, that's such a great value over many scalper prices and I'm glad such a local and awesome place does this! They open the seal, but we were going to be ripping this anyway at home. While going in a guy was telling people 1 box per person, however, when it was her turn he wouldn't sell to her- changed his mind and said it was 1 per group. Yet, when another one of our friends went in, he was given a 1 box per person. That's extremely discriminatory when those rules were not implemented with other groups who were in the shop. Ended up going to a different shop who was selling the same box set, and they even allowed her to buy four boxes. If this place had limited inventory, they should have been opened about that or stuck to the same rules instead of discriminating and changing them to only my friend while letting the guys buy.

At first I couldn't find the shop, the address sent me to the other side where there's a pharmacy - if you find the pharmacy you're in the right area, just go in the alley to the backside. They don't have big signage out their front door so it may be hard to find and it might look "closed" but if it's normal hours then you're probably in luck! The prices are somewhat reasonable - some singles and sealed products are at a decent price while some are just trying to match the market. But I get it, the shop needs to make money too. It sucks for the normal consumer/collector as we take the hit for the market prices. There seems to be a lot of singles to pick up - there's a good selection of cards on display and, if you ask, they have more binders with other singles that may not be as popular. Overall, I had a good experience with Victor. Very kind, super respectful, and ready to answer any and all questions. Will be back to shop some more in the future!

I came in needing to sell some Pokémon cards because life has been hitting me pretty hard financially. I wasn't expecting miracles, I just wanted someone to be honest with me and give me a fair deal. From the moment I walked in, Tien treated me with respect. He took his time going through every card instead of rushing me out the door. He explained everything, answered my questions, and genuinely wanted to make sure I got the best deal possible. You can tell he actually cares about the people who walk into the store, not just the transaction. What really stood out to me was that they listened to my situation. They didn't have to. They could've just made an offer and sent me on my way, but instead they worked with me and made the whole experience feel personal. They even helped make sure my son got to keep the cards that meant the most to him, which honestly meant more to me than they probably realize. A huge thank you as well to the supervisor (I think his name was Logan the one with the tattoos). He was just as friendly, respectful, and helpful. The entire staff made us feel welcome. We ended up walking out with close too $500, kept the majority of my son's collection, and left feeling like we had been treated fairly. That's a win in my book. I've read some of the negative reviews, and after my experience, I genuinely don't understand them. Maybe some people walk in expecting retail prices when they're selling to a business, but that's just not how buying collections works. TLDR; great card shop for people getting into collecting cards…read more Before coming into this store, there was never a reason for me to buy my single cards at a brick-and-mortar. I don't know who helped me because I was too overwhelmed, but he was so friendly and helpful. Actually everyone working there was pretty respectful and friendly! No one was judgmental or mansplain-y, it made me more comfortable asking questions since I'm newb. Price checking on cards was also super quick and he didn't look annoyed, so I was able to ask for the price of a lot of cards. Having to bother someone about pricing is lowkey a big reason why I hated brick-and-mortar, especially when I be ruining their day with every query, and then end up not buying anything. Such a relief it was not the case here. I was looking for a Pokemon card, lowest listed on TCG player was $14 + $2 shipping, and I was quoted $17 for it at the first card shop I stopped at ($1 not a big deal, but I can just buy online). I came here and the first price I was given was $16 which is the same as I would have paid online, but as I asked about more he was able to give me a package price for my cards without me having to ask (because I am not comfortable haggling, even though I think it is part of the card buying culture?) which I very much appreciate. I'm sure I paid less than I would have if I bought these cards online. I might not have bought as many cards as I did though if I'm being honest, but I guess that's part of the business deal. Overall my first super stellar shopping experience with buying single cards at a card store! I would defiantly recommend coming here if you're new to collecting cards! I don't have a lot of friends that collect cards and I'm not great at Googling questions so it's not as easy for me to learn how card market works without getting a little ripped off but the people here were super helpful and welcoming. The cards are organized extremely well, and there always seems to be new stuff every time that I go here. I can always rely on this place for variety. In terms of value, they are super transparent with pricing. When pricing cards out, they definitely align with TCGPlayer market values, which is very refreshing compared to other card shops in the area. All of the staff is extremely helpful and attentive even when a tournament is happening. Nick always takes the time to explain pricing and answer any questions that I have. I've always walked away feeling like I got great service. My only slight suggestion is that I wish they sold slabs and had Lorcana tournaments. However, I can't complain when Perfect Rares is always a 5/5 experience.
