    Street metered parking off 5th.
    Michelle R.

Aisles of Pop! Aisles of Pop! Located a block from LA's Skid Row literally on the corner of 5th and Crocker is this amazing Funko Pop! store. Streets are lined with homeless tents, and you really feel that you made a mistake. Don't let that deter you!! There's metered parking off 5th Street, and the meter takes credit card. An hour cost $1.00 I think. Also street parking off 4th, that are non metered and if you are lucky there's some spaces in the store's private lot located behind the building off 5th. When you walk to the store front, you'll be greeted by a gate. It's unlocked so pull it open. You may have to avoid a homeless person parked on the sidewalk. Once inside you'll gasp at the amount of Funko Pop. Did I mention aisles of Pop!? They're separated by types: Disney, Movie, TV, pop culture and in the middle are aisles of discount Pop, about $5.99. Common ones run $10.95 and the chase or grails can be higher than the Pop pricing guide. If you can offset your shopping with the bargain ones, splurge and get the grail. Tom also has his exclusive Mulan and Cricket Funko Pop for $15. Give them a stop, if you need Funko Pop! They have online store, but Tom said prices are cheaper in house.

    Thanks, Tommy!

Tommy is a great guy with a great personality and great business skills! Came in looking for Gundam kits, which he has a decent amount of. Came on 12/30/15 and saw a lot of high grades and real grades, but no master grades unfortunately (he says they'll have them at the end of 1/16). Of the kits he did have, there was a large variety of older and newer kits. Some old Wing models mixed with some newer Build Fighters kits, etc. I honestly liked the kits he carried more than the ones Anime Jungle had, but that's all subjective. I walked out with a Gundam G Self Perfect Pack at an AMAZING price. Besides Gundams, the walls were filled to the brim with Pop figures. If you collect Pop, Tom's is the place to go. He also carries a few Warhammer things and some other generic toys. The area around the shop is a bit run down. A lot of homeless people. If you are walking there from the center of Little Tokyo it might really throw you off guard your first time. They keep their gate closed but unlocked while they're open (maybe for security reasons) so just slide it open when you come through. Overall, what really makes this place special is the customer service. Being treated so well really makes you want to support this guy; I probably wouldn't have bought anything if I wasn't so delighted with the service. Gundam collection isn't the large (yet), but Pop is abundant. Neighbourhood is a bit less clean, but the trip is definitely worth it. I'm definitely coming back at the end of January because I know he's gonna have a lot more great stuff that is worth buying.

Found out about this place through facebook after searching for the exclusive Mushu Pop! Upon visiting the store, its located on the corner of 4th, the front entrance is gated and closed, but remains unlock during store hours. The environment is very welcoming, someone was in the front to greeting all the customers, then asks what me looking for. I was looking for that exclusive pop to add to my collection. He had it displayed by the front counter, and while he went to get me a new one I wandered through the rest of the store. Which is organized very well. All the Pops were displayed in the their own little sections, and I realized I'm not even close to collecting them all. Sad I can't wait to return to add to my collection.

FIRST THING Tommy(owner) Super Nice Guy. Shook my hand once I got inside and introduce himself. GUY even offered me a cough drops because I had a Sore Throat. CAN'T get any more FRIENDLY than that. BEST PLACE for FUNKO POPS. BIGGEST SELECTION I've seen by far from the newest pops to some that are hard to find in Stores. Well organized and fully stocked. If you don't see it you can ask and Tommy's most likely to have it. Prices are $11 tax included great prices for the Huge selection and on top of that he had some Special sale on Some Pops for $4.99. Overall I'm Happy I found this place HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!! Most Definitely Coming back They also have rare toys, model and Drones and a great selection of toys inside Ps. Don't be flood by the location Outside this Placing is Amazing inside

Yesterday I was bummed not finding pikachu at Target my husband reminds me of this place my friend told me about. So we went in just to see what I find, I found A Lot! I was going to check out when I decided to ask about Tiana and Prince Neveen. Tommy had it and was more than gracious to part ways with it. Thank you again!

We didn't know the family or child well, only that he was turning four and has an older brother. I purposely wanted to shop local and support an independent business, and a quick search on Yelp led me here. We arrived about an hour before closing on Saturday, which was great because parking meters end at 4pm and we found parking out front easily. We were greeted by an employee behind the desk as we walked in. She asked if there was anything she could help us find, and I let her know we were first time customers looking for a birthday gift with the details mentioned above. She let us know the layout of the store, her suggestions, but let us look freely. Over time more customers arrived with small children, and received the same courteous service. The store is clean and curated. I appreciated seeing well made toys and items inspiring imaginative play, rather than cheap plastic with distracting lights or sounds. I eventually chose a doctor play set as well as some items for my own children, such as animal figures and stamp markers. They offer free gift wrapping, which is a nice touch. The one alarming fact that stood out is that there were many empty storefronts on their block, so it's more important than ever to support our local economy. Their prices reflect investment in well made items, so I would not come here expecting big box store deals. In a world full of Target and Amazon, I would rather spend my money supporting a local, independent business. We had a great experience here and will definitely be back with our kids this holiday season.

The person on the phone came across as very rude, and it left a bad impression. Circumstances brought me to this unique and fun store that is practically hidden on the first floor of what appeared to be an abandoned mall in Chinatown, the Bamboo Plaza. Had I not known about this store and its location before visiting, I probably would not have entered the plaza. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by Natalie one of the store owners. I then met with Alan, her husband and co-owner. Both were super personable, friendly and knowledgeable. I overheard them conversing about some of the products with other customers in the store. They really knew their product. The store was jampacked with products from floor to ceiling. I was overwhelmed with how much there was to see. There were so many different model kits to choose from (Pokemon, Bandai, Gundam, etc.). They also had figurines, model paint, books, stickers, Gundam decals, Book Nook and Wonderland items, Pokemon Mini Building Blocks, other building blocks, DVDs and other fun items. Everything was well stocked and neatly organized. I appreciated that most of the items were displayed behind glass so that you could see the actual product vs just looking at the picture on the box. Even though I am an adult, I felt like a kid in a candy store. I did not leave empty-handed. :) If you're looking for a wonderful brick and mortar hobby shop with Asian flair, I highly recommend this shop.

Located on the corner of Main Street and Garfield Ave, it is a great place to visit while going for a stroll in the heart of downtown Alhambra. Plenty of great eateries and cinemas in the vicinity as well. A free parking garage is conveniently accessible right behind the shop, in addition to street parking. Although the shop is small, they were able to feature hundreds of items without it being overwhelming. As a newbie to the current line of collectibles, Top Canvas serves as a great introduction to the new trend. As I walked in, a young woman politely greeted me and offered me assistance. Upon request, she promptly directed me to the Mofusand plushies and a wall of keychains. She took down the plushies from the shelves, so I could take a good look at all of them. And then, I spotted one very adorable Hello Kitty plushie holding a strawberry which totally makes a great Valentine's Day gift. For less than twenty bucks, I quickly secured my choice and went on to explore the rest of the shop. The average prices range from $9.99 to $29.99, so you can build up your collections without breaking the bank. Top Canvas is a great place for buying gifts on a budget, as they offer so many cute things for under $20. I also purchased 2 Lokiki blind box plushies as gifts. The gift recipient seems to love it, because it's always fun to open up a blind box. She totally adores her Lokiki plushie. Without a doubt, the highlight of my visit is the wall of Mofusand keychains! At $9.99 each, big or small, these are just too darn cute to pass up. I want them all!! Some of the more expensive and fragile collectibles are showcased behind glass. Great for avid collectors!! Tired of shopping on Amazon like me?? Then support your local business and come to Top Canvas. It's so much more fun to go shopping at a brick-and-mortar store where one can actually physically feel and touch what they're buying.

I love that they also have cute dinosaur themed gift wrapping paper too. I think a neat touch that they have is all the dinosaur art that they have on the walls as well as the cute dinosaur trinkets and toys that they have all around. I love the variety of little plastic dinosaur figurines that they have. Probably the most diversity of species that I have seen and in the most sizes too. Some which I have never even heard of, so much more than the stereotypical T-rex and Triceratops that you can find anywhere else. Also, fear not, there are toys and other goods for the other children in your family/party who may not be as dinosaur inclined if that is your worry. I got a really neat Dinosaur Farm t-shirt there (they come in blue and green) and a little figure for my desk.
