Good place and good staff and overall just good stuff they have and all the cards you will be looking for will be there

There is a reason Burbank Sports Cards is not only still around, but expanding and thriving. 1. They curate to customers needs and pivot when they need to, like introducing PSA in-store. 2. They cater to kids and make them feel special by raffling off cards on the weekends and letting them pull the raffle tickets. Exactly what and who the hobby is really for. 3. Unbeatable selection from singles to packs. Do I wish packs were a little less expensive? Yes, but alas, that's where the card market and gambling has reached these days. Come here for a world class card shopping experience. Kudos to a family owned Burbank legacy. read more

I had come by with my cousins and this was my first visit. It's a huge shop that's across the street from Porto's. The lot is pretty limited and my family came by shortly before opening. There was already a line outside. The inside is very active with many customers after doors open. They have all sports cards available and Pokemon too. The staff all circle around to help and are overall friendly. You can sell cards with the shop you just have to join the line via kiosk. I came by to sell some old sports cards and Pokemon cards. I only had to wait about 20 minutes before I was called. I was happy with my value and would definitely come by again with my family. They have a PSA booth inside if you want to drop cards off for grading. Every Saturday they do raffles and giveaway cards of your choice from a particular display. It can get really busy and very crowded. Overall, a cool experience and one that can be fun for all ages and collectors old and new. ( ^_^)b read more

This shop has a lot to offer for card collectors and love what the store brings to the card collecting community. The owner you can tell has a true passion for this and is appreciated. They usually have a good variety of one piece/Pokémon cards available which I usually go for. Pricing seems fair and love that they have Japanese boxes for people who don't want to break their wallet for English prices. The only thing I have a bit of a problem with is when I pick out what I want from the employees they say they will drop it off in the front at the register for check out. I don't mind them doing that for security reasons but it does feel awkward when I get in line for checkout and the items I want to buy haven't made it to the front yet for quite awhile. I understand that the employees have to communicate with customers but sometimes I feel like they'll stop what they're doing to have a chat for 15 minutes with the items in their hand as I'm just standing at the register waiting when there is a line behind me and feel like I'm holding it up until the guy at the register has to go to them and grab it from them. Other than that everything else about the store is great and I think they really built up a great environment here. PS- I would love to see more gundam TCG here but I know it might not be as popular to the rest of the items. read more

I pass by this Sports cards store frequently and finally stopped in to check it out. It was definitely not what I expected. You can buy sports cards, but it caters to Pokémon collectors. First of all the parking lot was full. After a few pass throughs, I was just about to leave, when a space opened up. Upon entering, I liked how the rows were laid out. I was only interested in the baseball cards, so I headed straight to that area to browse. The store was pretty packed. There was a few others in the area I was, but most were sitting around waiting for their name to be called. I guess this is all for Pokeman trading/purchasing, or maybe for other things as well. It was really hard to tell. Otherwise, there was no other employees to ask questions to. Several tables had people sorting through boxes of Pokémon cards. It was a bit overwhelming as I expected it to be more of a sports related card store, but I guess the crazy for Pokémon is bigger than the collectible sports memorabilia. read more

Wow Burbank Sportscards is honestly next level. The selection is INSANE!!! Omg it feels like you could spend hours in there and still not see everything. Whether you're casually collecting or deep in the hobby, they have something for you. Everything is super organized, which I appreciate because sports card spots, Pokémon cards, etc., can sometimes feel so overwhelming. Yes, they have a corner just for Pokémon!! They even have a display case of some heat. It's one of those places where you go in "just to look" and somehow leave with a few must-haves! Definitely worth the visit if you're into collecting. 10/10. read more

We stumbled across this card shop while picking up Porto's and I ended up buying 3 cards: Mega Dragonite ex, Lisia's Appeal, and Team Rocket's Mimikyu. The prices were very reasonable, and the seller was very accommodating. He even adjusted the price on a few cards for me. It was a great experience and I'll definitely be back if we're in the area. read more

5/5 because they are what their name says: a sports card store! More than half the store (which is already pretty large) is full of sport cards. We were happy to find some WWE cards, but not much. There is some Pokémon, and a very limited amount of other anime cards. It is pricey here but thats sort of what you expect from places like this nowadays. We bought three card packs and we thought two card sleeves, but when we looked in the bag the card sleeves weren't in there. Upon double checking the receipt, they didn't charge us for the sleeves, but the cases were definitely in our cart. So I'm not sure how that happened, but I think the cashier and I both didn't notice that they didn't scan it in. This, and the lack of other card options made me drop my rating to 4/5. read more

Whether you're into TCG or sports cards, this place makes you feel like a kid in a candy store! Parking can be a little rough, but once you're inside, you seriously won't want to leave! The selection is incredible and you should have no problem finding whatever pack or box you're looking for. I like going to sit at the Collectors Court located in the center of the store. It's a seating area where the have tons of different value boxes to sift through. Theres even boxes with dedicated to specific players such as Jordan, Mahomes, Curry, LeBron , Brady and more. Theres football, baseball, basketball premium boxes to check out as well as boxes with autos and patches for $3! You don't need to check in with anyone, simply grab a box and find an open seat. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and the owner Rob is almost always there interacting with the customers. I recommend going on a Saturday where they have hourly raffles for free! Overall, the shop has a great selection of cards. Parking can be a bit difficult so make sure to get there early. Came in today and purchased several 50 cent cards, after I left I reviewed the receipt and realized that I was charged 50 cents more. Now 50 cents is not going to break the bank, but my issue is this is the second time this has happened. I don't know if the employee at the register thought maybe I wouldn't notice and decided just to round up, but either way this shouldn't be the case and the correct amount needs to be charged. read more

I was driving down the road and caught a glimpse of an excellent Shohei Ohtani painting on a building and then realized it was the old Rite-Aid across from Porto's that had become a Sports Card Emporium. Fast forward a week or two and a friend at work who collects cards, non-sports, was looking for places that sold the kind of cards he collected, and I told him about Burbank Sportscards and just assumed that they carried much more than sports cards. He called them up and they had what he was looking for, so the held him a couple boxes and I swung by on my way home from work to grab them for him. Now, this was mid-afternoon during the week, and I was shocked at how busy this place was at that particular time! There was a big section of tables that a variety of people were sitting around at discussing things or playing games. The place is immaculately kept, and if this is your kind of collecting, then I'm sure they've got whatever you're seeking. The staff was very pleasant and professional, and incredibly efficient of finding you what you need and getting you on your way quickly. They do have armed protection at the door because many of the items in this facility are worth a LOT of money to the right people. I wasn't really expecting that when I walked in, but once I saw how nice the place was, and how much they carry in stock, it was just plain common sense to protect their investment. read more

I'm a tad torn on this place. Parking is horrendous. Staff is friendly but not all that knowledgeable, especially of what's in stock. I called before arriving asking if they had a certain box of cards in stock and they confirmed that they did. When I walked in I asked the first person for it and he directed me to the counter without any registers. When I asked those employees they presented me with different boxes and not what I was looking for. After searching, searching, searching, I realized the boxes I wanted were behind the cashier counter area. As I looked around, they didn't have many singles of non-sports cards. The display cases were pretty bare and there were no "long boxes" or similar to what you would find at a comic shop to get single cards. The vibe is great though, I love the giveaways they do on weekends. I'll definitely stop by again read more

My barber and I have been talking about trading cards, especially sports cards. He would share couple of the shops in Burbank that he checks out and Burbank Sportscards happen to be one of them. I've been wanting to check it out then I understood they have moved locations. I didn't realize this store took over a RiteAid location. After their grand opening I was able to come through and check out the new spot. Outside you will see a mural of Ohtani's 50/50 and along the back way you will see Kobe v Lebron. Both beautiful murals. Upon walking inside the shop its overwhelming to see how much real estate this card shop has. All along the perimeter you will see Pokemon, all the various sports, a PSA vendor, then the check out. One thing I enjoyed about this shop was the section to go through common cards to fill up a box of what ever you find and want. There were plenty of tables for people to grab a box and fill up their lil stash. I visited over the weekend, the place had many people inside, the parking situation is kinda bad, but overall first time experience was great. The entire store isn't used up so with that, I am looking forward to seeing what else this store has planned for the future. Holy cow, this is like the mecca of trading cards stores! The card shops I'm used to are usually little ones with like one or two grizzled sports enthusiasts hustling wax packs and singles, usually limited to just the big three sports. This spot in Burbank, to contrast, is enormous. You can find rows and rows of hobby cards, from MLB to Pokémon to WWE and auto racing. They have everything you need here, even hobby supplies, and you'll be spending hours sorting through all this cool stuff. The selections are tremendous. Also, they have an on-location PSA depository where you can drop your card off to have it graded, which will probably save you time and postage for mailing it yourself. I'm not sure how often they do it, but on this day they had a free ticket raffle where you can score some pretty good cards. When I was there, a little girl won a Caitlin Clark rookie! Having said all that, there is a downside: their pricing. The cards are all marked up like 5-10% from what you can get on Ebay or at a much smaller card shop. There might be room to negotiate, a practice that is inherent in this industry, but still... Anyway, even you might be priced out, it's still worth stopping by just to see all this great stuff. Every trading card enthusiast in LA should come out here at least once to just check it out! read more

I kept this card in a safe place and decided on my day off 1/15/2026 i was going to make a trip out to Burbank Sportscards from Palm Desert California. The customer service from everyone that I came across was top notch excellent customer service and a great experience. Total Bait and Switch - Avoid This Store! I had a nightmare experience at this shop. I paid $600 upfront for a specific Jordan card, but when I arrived for pickup, they claimed they "accidentally" sold it to someone else. To "make it up to me," they offered a supposedly $1,200 card for the same $600. I took the deal in the heat of the moment, but after doing my homework and getting the card appraised by other experts, I found out it's a tampered/salvage-grade card worth $300 at most. They used a fake mistake to dump a junk card on me. Absolute fraudsters. Save your money and go elsewhere. Look at the photos I have attached. read more

If you're even remotely into sports cards, Pokémon, or collectibles, Burbank Sportscards is an absolute must visit. I brought my kids (8 and 10 years old), and to say they were overwhelmed is an understatement in the best possible way. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we had stepped into a card museum. The store is huge, beautifully organized, and packed wall to wall with treasures from every era. What stood out immediately was the incredible selection. For baseball fans, they have cards going back decades sorted not only by year and team but also by individual players, which made it incredibly easy for my kids to track down their favorites. You'll find cards from every major sport football, basketball, hockey, soccer along with a massive inventory of non-sport and Pokémon cards. My 8-year-old was in heaven going through the vintage 1920 to 1940s section, while my 10-year-old was all about the graded psa baseball cards. The staff was helpful and patient, even with all the questions my kids threw their way. They didn't rush us, and you could tell they were just as passionate about the hobby as the customers. Whether you're a first time collector or a seasoned pro, the team there makes you feel welcome. One of the most impressive and unique features is their on-site PSA booth. From what I understand, Burbank is one of the only if not the only card shops to have an official PSA submission center inside the store. This is a huge deal for collectors who want to grade their cards it takes out the hassle and uncertainty of mailing them in yourself. The entire space is clean, well-lit, and professionally run. Every section is thoughtfully arranged, from the bargain boxes for casual collectors to high end display cases for serious hobbyists. There's something for every budget and every level of interest. I can't recommend this place enough. It's not just a store it's an experience. My kids are already asking when we can go back, and honestly, I'm just as excited for our next trip read more

I visited the store with my kids and was surprised that the store is huge! Employee named Tim greeted us and told us about the store sections. Huge selections of all trading cards in my opinion. Only thing that I didn't like was the other fees on the receipt other than the tax. Still 10 read more

Stopped by Burbank Sportscards back on June 7, 2025 (about a week after their grand opening). My primary purpose was to perform a drop off of my cards to PSA for their grading service. It was also great opportunity for me to walk about this new store and check out their offerings. It was quite a large store and their selection of products was absolutely massive! A card lover's dream. But local Dodger stuff goes fast. And Saturdays are a zoo with the raffles, which makes it harder to shop. The parking fills fast and some staff are experts, while others seem like they'd rather be elsewhere and don't know the basics. Ryan is the absolute best, as are Nate, Andrew and Rick. Been wanting to visit Burbank Sports Cards . Finally pulled the trigger and drove out 40 mins to visit the shop. I was really looking forward to it, but the entire experience was a letdown. To start, the parking is extremely limited.I had to circle for a while just to find a open spot. The customer service was even worse. While waiting in line for the restroom, an employee (who was wearing a PSA name tag) tried to cut in front of us despite the fact that we had already been waiting for several minutes. When we didn't let her, she gave us a hard time about it. I brought the situation to the owner's attention who happen to walk by, but instead of handling it, he watched her continue to be rude to me right in front of him. He just shrugged it off with a half-hearted apology, claiming there wasn't much he could do because she wasn't "technically" his employee. This is the biggest let down, because its his business name on the building. The whole encounter completely ruined my mood. I did a quick walk-through of the shop and left immediately without buying anything. Very disappointing. They do have a large selection. Wish it would have gone differently read more

I've been here a couple of times and loved it so today was pretty bewildering. I understand they're a busy shop and want lots of product on the floor, but this was the most claustrophobic shopping experience I've ever had. There are several display cases spaced close together with barely enough room for multiple people to be looking. There's nowhere to stand that doesn't make you feel like you're in the way. The Collectors Court was very disappointing. Prices change and markets fluctuate, but it's hard seeing cards that 5 months ago were $.25 suddenly being $1. $.75 may not be a lot to some, but it can add up quickly. I saw a 2025 Mookie Betts base card with a $4 price tag. Inserts that were $.25 a few weeks ago last time I was here are now $1. They have boxes of "premium singles" for specific players but all I've seen are base cards, not even any parallels. There are two tables now tucked inside the section that have too many chairs smushed in. You can't look through cards without having someone breathing down your neck. Most of the employees are great and friendly but I probably won't be making the trip up anymore. The shop is clearly shifting their demographic to more upscale. Which there's ultimately nothing wrong with! It just sadly isn't for me anymore. read more

Was there today meeting with someone to do a trade. Was planning on buying a couple boxes of cards after. An employee came up, didn't introduce himself or anything, was very rude and said "if you're going to do transactions get out of here!" He was probably 5'10 kinda chubby grayish scruff. Who knows. Maybe he owned the place and was having a bad day. But at least be polite. Not coming back to a hostile environment again. Plenty of other cheaper and nicer options read more

I've come here quite a few times and i have some gripes. I won't deny that they have a variety of selections for cards and the staff are friendly and attentive. What makes me hesitant sometimes to purchase anything, are the prices for some TCG. Even newer sets that have just come out are being upsold at high prices and i get told it's the market, when that isn't entirely true. I understand if it's an older set, but for newer sets, the prices aren't worth it. Another issue is that phone calls get seldom answered. I've called quite a few times to inquire about a TCG event and not only was my call not answered, the voicemail is so badly backlogged I can't leave a message and call back number. Parking is another issue because the lot sign says parking for that store only yet I've seen various times people parking there and going to Portos. So that leaves me a little frustrated and confused for the parking. All in all Burbank Sports Cards is ok, but make sure that what you purchase is worth it. read more

A "hidden gem" that I would want to gatekeep The vibes and ambiance are amazing, you truly can tell everyone who works there is passionate about cards and sports. They are always willing to help you and talk shop! There is a little something for everyone from vintage to modern sports as well as most of the popular TCGs (Pokemon, Magic, One Piece). They have great prices on sealed items, singles, and slabs. Even with their large inventory, everything is kept neat from hundreds of bulk boxes you can go through to binders of their more affordable singles. It's a great place to spend your time whether you are the type to enjoy looking through thousands of cards, want to sell, or even submit to PSA. As a buyer: everything is over priced. As a seller: they try and rip you off and act like they are doing you a favor. Theres a guy in particular; tall, chubby, and clearly hates his job and is rude and awful to deal with. They say 70% comp for cards. But what they don't say is they will completely under comp you what cards are actually worth. As an example- I had a $100 card. They offered me 35 saying it was worth 50. (Again the chubby angry guy, who wants you to be thankful he's ripping you off) I laughed and said no thank you. Put it on eBay and sold it within 48 hours for $90. It's a nice looking store, just wish the employees and ethics were better. Edit: her response to me is nonsense. I literally use the exact same card pricing app the store does. There's no reason whatsoever why we should be so off. Which is why you have no specific way of pricing. They just use whatever gets them the lowest amount. Not only shady but gaslighting in this response. Smh. read more

My brother and I regularly visit Burbank Sports Cards because we're big Pokémon collectors, and overall it's one of our favorite card shops to go to. The store itself is always clean, organized, and welcoming, and the staff are usually very friendly and helpful. Every time we've come in, people working the Pokémon area have been approachable and happy to help, which makes the experience fun for collectors like us. Today (March 12, 2026) we had another great interaction at the Pokémon station. The employee there was very friendly and helpful, assisted us with the products we were looking for, and even took our items up to the register for checkout. That part of the experience was exactly what we've come to expect from the shop. Unfortunately, the interaction at the register was the complete opposite. According to the receipt, the employee ringing us up was Aiden C. As my brother and I approached the counter, he was sitting behind it and didn't acknowledge us at all! No greeting, no "are you ready," nothing. He just gave us a really unpleasant stare. We had to be the ones to say that we were ready to check out. Throughout the entire transaction he barely spoke, aside from stating the total. He didn't greet us, didn't respond when we said thank you, and didn't say anything like "have a nice day." The whole interaction made it feel like we were bothering him just by being there, which was really surprising given how welcoming the rest of the staff usually is. It's disappointing because this is a shop we genuinely enjoy visiting and spending money at. Experiences like that at the register can really affect how customers feel about coming back. I hope this was just an off day, because the store and the rest of the team are usually great. We'll likely still return because we love the shop and the Pokémon selection, but hopefully future visits reflect the friendly atmosphere we've experienced there before. read more

Recently visited shop for second time n definitely biggest shop n selection I have seen, parking is a bit of an issue. The place is clean n easy to navigate through the shop to find what your looking for n Floor staff is helpful except for the PSA lady who seemed annoyed from the beginning of my interaction with her and rude in her tone n responses to my questions. I was interested in submissions n proceeded to inquire only to get several smart mouth sarcastic responses. I felt like she was testing my patience n she also was attempting to escalate what should have been a simple inquiry. After getting no where with her my son n I decided to calmly walk away n as I turned around she abruptly shut her window grill as another customer was walking up to her counter. On another occasion I witnessed her raise her voice to an elderly gentleman n threaten to call security on him as the gentleman calmly stood there as she made a scene in front of a crowded shop, to b fair I don't know what led up to that n understand she may not b a direct employee of Burbank sports cards but she still deals with the shop's customers n should b courteous to all or move on. I have read reviews on here n it looks like the same issues that have come up in the past are still happening now like employees taking cards to the back of the shop for comp research n this PSA ladies attitude but nothing is getting addressed despite several replies from management stating they are working on the issues. I took up this hobby for fun n to relax not to raise my blood pressure. Strongly considering never returning based on PSA rep alone. read more
