I had a great experience at Bullpen Burbank! Freddy was super helpful! Highly recommend this shop!

Bullpen Card store is always super friendly and I would highly recommend it. They got stuff that other cards stores don't even got. And best part is the ones running it so I would highly suggest stopping by. read more

The guys over at bullpen Burbank are awesome. Very friendly . We had a great time at the panini sticker trading event . It was my 3rd time going to one there and my son and I have a blast every time. Hope to see more events like these in the future read more

Here's your updated review with the store name: We had such a great experience at Bull Pen! David was incredibly kind and patient with my 10-year-old son, taking the time to help him navigate through all the different Pokémon card options without making him feel rushed or overwhelmed. It really meant a lot to see someone treat a kid with that level of respect and care. You can tell this is a family business that truly values its customers. We will never go anywhere else! read more

Seen this place while I was getting food @ Porto's. Walked in and was greeted by Art. Looked around for sports and Pokemon. Ann, James and Freddy also asked if I was looking for something particular or just browsing. I did find a few Jordan cards and bought a few packs of Pokemon for me and the family to open. Got a really good deal for my purchase. read more

Thanks Freddy, very helpful on our World Cup panini stickers search. They have a great collection of sports and Pokemon cards.

We came to our first FIFA 2026 sticker trading event and it went great. Although my son didn't complete his book today, he still left with a ton of new stickers. We couldn't make it to the previous ones. It would be great if you guys can do another one soon (possibly on a weekend) and hopefully he completes his book. Everyone was also very nice which made it even better. read more

This is a hidden treasure to all card collectors. From Pokémon card, Yugioh, Magic, Dragon Ball Z, Sports cards, MLB, NFL, Champions League, etc. they also have collectible plushies. We initially went to the new store in the corner of Buena Vista and Magnolia and though they had a big selection of cards they do not beat this store. Here Freddie, Damon, and Dustin make the experience unforgettable. When Freddie found out that we were Real Madrid Fans he quickly knew what card to show us. A graded Luka Modric card (my favorite soccer player). This is a must visit for any and all card collectors. read more

I came to a FIFA 2026 World Cup trading cards event today and I was able to complete my first book. Everyone was very friendly and the staff were very helpful. FYI if you are looking for more Panini packets, they still have individuals and the 25 or 50 boxes. I just got 10 individuals for my next book! read more

I wish I could give lower than a 1 star , I'd never come back to this card store. I did not feel welcomed and no one said a word to me the whole time he was looking at my cards. Nothing in there is worth the price point Burbank cards is 100% better id never recommend bullpen ! read more

Honestly prolly my favorite card shop I've been to in LA so far in terms of service and also me finding my favorite cards for my collection. I'll definitely be back bc of Ann , she's super patient and helpful ! read more

There are two people that work here who are just plain rude. I've taken my son here a handful of times and half the time they are buying and half the time they're not. When you call and they're not buying, they'll tell you that they have no money and they're not buying. What kind of customer service answers the phone like that? You could at least be courteous especially when kids are around. I honestly don't know why these people work here who clearly hate their jobs. I will never do business with them again! Go across the street to Burbank Sportscards where they are actually nice to their customers and appreciate them, especially kids! read more

Always enjoy coming here! The staff have always been so friendly! Their selection is not a lot compared to some others, but definitely have some gems for sure! Worth checking out! read more

Amazing store! We went in with some kids today and they identified some cards were fake, so they traded those fake cards out of circulation for a pack to teach them a lesson. Great experience and would recommend! read more

The people there are absolutely rude. They don't acknowledge anything when you walk in and this dude was watching karate kid instead of showing me around the shop and helping me out. A Dan Marino card was worth 2$ and was marked up to 30$ which explains the value at the store. Selection is also not good, not enough cards for each sport. The place also feels like a dump. read more

This mainly pertains to their Pokemon inventory but they have a mix of fair priced items and items priced way too high for what they are. Honestly seen scalpers with better prices than theirs but business is business. Mainly came in to check them out and was doing an honesty test (looking for a good shop for myself) to see what they would offer me for my XandY venusaur promo card ranging around 80$ and my 151 charizard witch is the top pull for the set ranging around 250$ or less msrp. They said they buy at 75% which is standard and then pulls out their phone saying they go by TCG market price. Wasn't happy to hear them say it's going for 150$ which is the Japanese 151 charizard price. I said the price doesn't seem right and they said that's market. I said maybe another time and bought some cards and a jap 25th anniversary booster box. Their booster box prices: Surging sparks 300$ (around 250$ msrp) Paldea evolved 200$ (around 180$ msrp) Terastal festival etb, (don't even bother) 8$ for one pack twilight masquerade‼ and 180$+ for a stellar crown booster box (around 150$ msrp) ..... I don't blame them in this current market but if you can get better prices from scalpers on the third party market there's something wrong here. They have to either stop buying from scalpers or find a better vendor. The cards I took out are in the photos. Also a shop called Hero's in northridge fashion center has better prices for packs and booster boxes than here. Currently that's my go to. Plus they're honest people read more

Bullpen Burbank - The cards I put on the table. Wasn't happy with their offer at all - Hobby Shops Near Me - Burbank, California

Honestly cannot say enough good things about this shop! Stopped by randomly cuz the kiddo is getting into collecting Pokemon and so happy with the experience that we won't even bother going anywhere else The quality of service provided is top notch! Everyone takes their time to help you out, answer questions and you can tell they're genuine people who are about the hobby themselves. Not to mention, the employees seem happy to be there and want to interact with the customers and not just looking to make a sale and shuffle people thru the doors. Their prices and selection are great! They always have new items coming in and just stoked to have found this shop. Big ups to the whole crew at Bullpen Burbank! You guys are the best! read more

My friend recommended me this place instead of the bigger card place across the street & I got a lot of different cards. Definitely going back soon to get more & going to bring my nephew as well. read more

If you're looking for the best card shop experience, Freddie, David, and Dustin are the absolute dream team! Every time I come in, they greet me with a smile and make the whole experience fun and welcoming. They really know their stuff whether it's sports cards, Pokémon, or TCG, they walk you through their comps and give you the best insight into what's hot right now. The shop Bullpen Burbank always has the newest products, and their prices and deals are unbeatable. I also love how there's never any pressure to buy; it's just an amazing environment where you can learn, trade, and talk cards. Plus, their buy and store credit percentages are great if you're looking to sell or trade. Freddie, David, and Dustin make this place feel like more than just a shop it's a community. Highly recommend checking them out! read more

One of the best card shops for selection and pricing! Most definitely check it out Art helped me pick out some awesome packs.

The Bullpen in Burbank isn't just a card shop; it is truly a Mecca of Wonder for collectors of all levels. From the moment you walk in, the difference in the customer experience is palpable--and it all starts with the exceptional staff. Thank you Freddie and Ana! read more

The main Bullpen location is amazing .. This location is terrible! The people that work there have no social skills and don't even greet customers when they walk in. Their TCG inventory is OK. Their sports inventory is stale and never updates. The management team needs to severely upgrade their staff with people who will engage with their customers. Their competitors Burbank across the street will put them out of business soon if this continues. read more

Appreciate this shop for offering a contrast to the big box style of BBSC across the street - but really wish they put prices on stuff. Inevitably you'll ask a price on something, they'll google it, and then offer you a price you can probably beat anywhere. All of the staff is friendly, but you'll only get a fair price if you're lucky enough to deal with Dustin. But honestly it shouldn't be that hard to just stay on top of market rates and keep prices listed/updated. Wish them the best though, I don't want all of the hobby to flock to one shop. read more

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SERVICE THEYRE the absolute best card store I've been to in LA. Amazing service amazing selection and the best prices!

Horrible service. Very rude customer service. I went on a Sunday and I was getting kick out because the store was closing. And so called security guard pushing us out because it was closing. Never coming in again. read more

Love this place!! Freddy and the rest of the crew are always on the top of the card game!!

Amazing selection of cards, wonderful staff and always top tier service when you are here. Recently have gotten into collecting cards and I have to say, I always feel good when I'm opening whether in store or at home. Great Pokémon card shop with a solid selection. Many singles and sealed product! The staff (David, Alfredo, Dustin) friendly, knowledgeable, and actually take the time to help you. Amazing customer service and great kid-friendly experience!! Our first visit a few months back was incredible! David was so incredible patient and kind with our 5yo. Just recently got back into cards. Totally found out it's a lot more, lol. Really different from back in the 80s when I used to collect, but staff was really great and friendly. Great people, better prices. Always so friendly when I come in, attentive when you have any questions or concerns and the selection is always updated when stock runs low. Their prices are honestly some of the best when it comes to storefronts as well. Have been doing business there for over half a year, and I don't see that changing any time soon. Love the work they're doing there! Appreciate the hospitality always ! read more

Yooo before you go to any other Card Shop in Burbank check out the Bullpen! They treat you like a human being, the vibe is straight up homie, instead of this corporate surveillance uniform! My husband and I saw the shop coming from Portos and decided to stop by. They have various collections of cards ranging from Pokémon, yu-gi-oh!, Baseball, basketball, football, etc. The guy helping us out, forgot to ask for his name, was informative and helpful. I picked up a few Pokémon cards for my son. They have individual cards and packed card available. They also carry hard to find items. Great store. Good people. Support small. read more

Love this store. For me it's local and always has fair pricing. Always good vibes when I go in. Everybody seems to know everybody. Sometimes when I stop in on the weekend it's like a hang out spot. The staff seems to know everybody by name. Guys girls and kids all welcome. Service has always been great. There's usually only 2 to 3 people working so when it's busy sometimes there might be little wait but it's worth it knowing they're gonna totally take care of me. The manager Freddy is super cool and super knowledgeable about all things sports and the lady Ann is always kind and knowledgeable. She takes care of all my gaming stuff along with another cool guy named David. Don't go in with an attitude and I'm sure they'll treat you right. It's a small store but don't let that fool you, they have everything. And if they don't have what you're looking for, they're not afraid to point you in the right direction. If you're in the area stop in and check it out. It's my go to card store in Burbank. read more

I walk in not even sure what I'm looking for, and five minutes later I'm walking out with exactly what I didn't know I needed. The staff? Super friendly, always down to help, and they really know their stuff--like, scary good. If you're into cards and you're not shopping here, what are you even doing with your life? They make finding what you're looking for easy--and actually fun. Especially Ann--she's amazing. She knows everything about Pokémon and genuinely enjoys sharing her passion with others. It's the kind of place where you feel welcome, whether you're a serious collector or just getting started. I've seen some negative comments floating around and honestly? I don't get it. Feels like some people came in with a chip on their shoulder and didn't take the time to actually engage. This shop is a gem, plain and simple. read more
