My dad and I are always on the hunt for solid local spots to fuel our Pokémon obsession, and this place completely blew us away. First off, the selection is genuinely incredible. Whether you are chasing that nostalgic high with vintage Pokémon singles or looking to complete your master sets with modern hits, their display cases are absolutely stacked. They also have a massive, well-organized wall of sealed packs and booster boxes covering all the current sets, plus some harder-to-find stuff. But here's the absolute best part: the prices are actually fair. It is so rare to find a shop in the LA area that doesn't try to price-gouge the second a new set drops. You can tell they genuinely care about the hobby and want to build a real community here rather than just making a quick buck. If you live in the SFV or are just passing through, please do yourself a favor and go support this new card shop! It's exactly the kind of friendly, well-stocked local business the hobby needs.

Even at the one piece events the people were really cool and chill, staff and players. Just wanted to let people know that these guys are great and should give them a chance as they have made me feel amazing. A great place to just chill and talk and relax, take your mind off of things. Prices can be up there, but where is it not. They do give discounts for locals who support them which is amazing. They have a good variety of products, pokemon, one piece, and sorcery. Just wanted to let you guys know you guys are awesome and keep it up.

They were instrumental in the supply and, I think, the consultation/safety. If you have questions on your project, that's what they do...just make sure to give some detail (medium, wearable, etc.). I could walk around for hours here (probably did on my first visit) to view not only all the supplies but distracted by floor/wall adorned decorations they created and a dedicated customer display. Posted warning at the entrance of no children of a certain age and also an age limit to purchase. Attended a very cool seminar presented by Glen (45+ years experience) and Laura (very detailed and cautious). Both had so many tips and tricks with live demonstrations...I should have brought a notepad; others were much more proficient. Truly inspirational place and hub for our projects. Some of the items are exclusively sold at Reynolds Advanced Materials; they even have their own crafted stuff that are far superior in quality and inexpensive. Remember that you should always do your research on what you'll be handling as the side effects are no joke. Errors/mistakes could cost hours and money.

Charming and creative, you'll be sure to find all your necessary materials here. They are very well stocked with everything you can think off. If you're into this kind of vibe, check out Nigel's and Frend's. Those are more specialty makeup and special fx cosmetics. But they share a similar classic Hollywood vibe. Good selection, highly recommend. I find the value is in their quality goods and services.

I've been coming here ever since my dad and I started getting back into collecting Pokémon cards, and it has quickly become our go-to shop. The atmosphere here is always fantastic, but what really makes this place top-tier is the staff. A massive shoutout to Daniel, Marvin, and Luis! They are always incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and have been so genuinely helpful whenever we come in to handle sales or figure out trades. They always shoot straight and treat us fairly, which is something you really appreciate when navigating the hobby. Beyond just the great customer service, we've had some insane luck here. The absolute highlight was when my dad actually pulled a MEGA DREAM god pack from a purchase we made at this location! We were absolutely losing our minds. It's unforgettable memories like that which make collecting together so much fun, and I'm so glad it happened with product from our favorite local spot. Whether you're a seasoned collector looking to make some big trades or just getting back into it like my dad and I, I cannot recommend LA Sports Cards enough. Best shop in the area!

This one is on the second floor of a two-story commercial building. Not sure if there's parking in the back, so I just park out front off of Glenoaks. Stairs are on the side of the building. Inside is nice, tidy and neatly organized. Not too much singles for sale, especially for baseball, and most of it is Pokemon cards. But they have a nice selection of boxed sports cards for reasonable prices. Bought a 2023 Topps Baseball Chrome Logofractor box and pulled an absolute monster of a card (see pic). This spot was good luck for me! Thanks bros!

There's a large variety of sealed product, too. The staff (Nathan, Daniel, E.J., Marvin, etc.) are super-friendly, knowledgeable, and relaxed. Plus if I want to sell/trade cards, it can be done very quickly - no entering your name into a computer then waiting 20 minutes for somebody to look at your stuff. The percentages paid are generous and fair. Finally, they have extended hours so it's convenient to swing by after work or at night to score the items you want. The Glendale location is mainly manned by Sam and he is great to deal with on all levels. The selection is pretty good meaning the showcases are well-stocked. While there is no buyer in Glendale to sell your cards to, the Burbank location is close-by anyway. I have recently had a plethora of satisfying transactions at both L A Sports Cards shops and they have definitely earned my loyalty. Highly recommended!

First of all the parking lot was full. After a few pass throughs, I was just about to leave, when a space opened up. Upon entering, I liked how the rows were laid out. I was only interested in the baseball cards, so I headed straight to that area to browse. The store was pretty packed. There was a few others in the area I was, but most were sitting around waiting for their name to be called. I guess this is all for Pokeman trading/purchasing, or maybe for other things as well. It was really hard to tell. Otherwise, there was no other employees to ask questions to. Several tables had people sorting through boxes of Pokémon cards. It was a bit overwhelming as I expected it to be more of a sports related card store, but I guess the crazy for Pokémon is bigger than the collectible sports memorabilia.

I understand they're…read morea busy shop and want lots of product on the floor, but this was the most claustrophobic shopping experience I've ever had. There are several display cases spaced close together with barely enough room for multiple people to be looking. There's nowhere to stand that doesn't make you feel like you're in the way. The Collectors Court was very disappointing. Prices change and markets fluctuate, but it's hard seeing cards that 5 months ago were $.25 suddenly being $1. $.75 may not be a lot to some, but it can add up quickly. I saw a 2025 Mookie Betts base card with a $4 price tag. Inserts that were $.25 a few weeks ago last time I was here are now $1. They have boxes of "premium singles" for specific players but all I've seen are base cards, not even any parallels. There are two tables now tucked inside the section that have too many chairs smushed in. You can't look through cards without having someone breathing down your neck. Most of the employees are great and friendly but I probably won't be making the trip up anymore. The shop is clearly shifting their demographic to more upscale. Which there's ultimately nothing wrong with! It just sadly isn't for me anymore.
