Sure wish I took care of my 1999 Jungle and Fossil cards. A lot of those cards are worth a lot of money today. Restroom: Restroom is available Credit Cards: They're accepted, but they'll charge tax if you use them. You'll be able to bypass the tax fee if you pay in cash. Shop Offerings: Shop sells a wide range of trading cards: Pokemon, MTG, Lorcana, Riftbound, Grand Archive, and One Piece. They also buy and trade cards. They also host tournaments. Ambiance/Decor: Your typical card shop feel with long tables to play with other people or to look at cards in the binders. Service: Service is good. Staffers and owner are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about their products that they sell. Pokebox USA For Thought: Overall, my experience is a good one. Super cute shop dog! Love that they also support the community as well. If you purchase something the day off, you get a discount, same day at a local boba place within walking distance. There's a couch to lounge on, tables for game nights or casuals, and you can also draw some art of your own OC card too. Not only do they have trading cards here (Magic the Gathering, Poke'mon, Lorcana, One Piece TCG, and Grand Archive). No YGO though, but probably for the best (IFYKY). On top of single cards, booster packs, and booster boxes, you can get card accessories like sleeves, storage books and boxes, playmats, etc. They also have some plushies and anime figures as well, ranging from prize figures to some nicer ones. Staff was super friendly and welcoming and my friend got some of the Avatar the Last Air Bender MTG cards and was able to do some good pulls. Prices were fair and we had a good time. I don't think I'm going to dip back into the TCG world, but if you're part of the community, this is a great stop. read more

This is a great card store with a diverse Magic card selection. The owner is incredibly welcoming and the staff is super nice. This is a great local place to come play a few games with your friends or play a few games with new faces. My husband loves coming here with his friends. I was there for about 5 to 10 minutes waiting for someone to ask me if I need help. I feel like they were avoiding me from some odd reason or it could be because the way I look. Sucks that I have to leave this review. One of the guys got done helping somebody and when it was my turn, he left just ignore me and went straight to his computer. First impression is really casual and staff are friendly. A lot of street parking in front. The card selections are mainly pokemon trading cards, magic the gathering, lorcana, one piece, Japanese tag, and the prices on the cards are reasonable. A new and recent TCG store to San Gabriel. The inside is pretty spacey and although they're building their collection, they have a wide variety of different TCGs. And their music selection is fire. The staff is friendly and she was able to help me out. Cards are decently priced as well! read more

Found myself in the area, waiting for a dinner This is a new shop with plenty of space and friendly service. Walking in and turning directly to the right there is a huge Gear 5 Luffy from the One Piece card game that is absolutely amazing. Found out later that the lady behind the counter did it herself, so impressed. Even though I was just looking to kill some time and support a small business, I was looking for some playable cards and found a cool little area of what I would call value-bulk. Spent some time thumbing through and got what I needed. Overall, this place is a gem. Parked right in front of the store without a problem. I had a pretty good experience shopping here. The person who helped me was patient and took the time to make some suggestions when I asked for recommendations. He seemed attentive and friendly. They also have a Discord community which is decently active for all the TCGs they are focused on, from Pokemon, to MTG, Lorcana, One Piece and so on. read more

Ordered online and upon receiving, the USPS box it came in was damaged and both ends of the USPS box where you can open it, were not sealed/taped. The part with the glue on the box was the only thing taped securely. One end you can tell it was forced open, and upon inspecting the package contents, no products (18 of them) I purchased were in there. Only some packing paper and a sleeved collection of random cards stuck to the inside of the box. Very sad and upset as these were to be Christmas gifts to my family. Not sure what to do at this point, other than inform others that they do not package your order correctly, which can result in an easy opportunity for theft such as this. read more

Pokebox has one of the most welcoming and positive communities, no matter what TCG game you play. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There's a reason players come here for their weekly tournaments. I've made lots of friends from simply attending their events/tournaments. Been a regular of PokeBox since April of this year. The service is warm, welcoming, and staff is always there to help or answer any questions about the variety of products they have. From Pokemon, Magic, Lorcana, One Piece, and more there is always something to shop. (With tournament hosting 6 days of the week.) Just give them a call for attention if they're in the back, in the middle of Magic with friends, or if the store isn't overcrowded and busy with an active tournament. Pokémon is by far their largest player base, and its ever growing community creates returning players, and new regulars. Only downside so far for the store is the frequency of Out of Stock for Pokémon packs as limits on customers should be placed. They do however, have other sealed Pokémon products in stock. Walked in on a random Wednesday night with my two young boys and were warmly greeted by a kind staff person who realized it was our first trip to the store and he gave both of them a little goodie bag of little Pokemon stuff. My boys had a great time looking through the pokemon cards and did not feel rushed at all. There were some other customers playing a board game and the vibes seemed really friendly and chill. Seemed like a friendly diverse bunch. The store was clean, parking was easy and my kids had a fun time buying some pokemon cards with their hard earned chore money. I am new to collecting Pokemon cards and have been visiting local card shops to grow my collection. I have visited large and small shops just to poke around. This shop may be small but it is packed with a cool collection from singles to sealed products. I picked up a handful of singles and even a pack to ease my ripping shakes. Overall, this store has a decent selection of cards from a variety of games. However as other reviewers have said before, this store opens extremely late past 12; the owner seems to be very late in opening their store. if I could leave 0 star I would but I cant sadly, am rating this. 0 stars because the pokemon store trading system is just not it. I went there with my brother and sister and we were trading with them. We had ungraded cards that was over 1000 dollars but they gave us 12 and 40 bucks. But, they had a ungraded card that's bent and damage thats ungraded and that costs 300 ish dollars so why not give us that price for that card the service their was pretty good but the guy at the front was speaking rude to my brother and since my brother did the math we were losing a lot like a lot of money and he said he wanted more but just raised it by 4 bucks like are you dead serious so of course said no. read more

I ordered from them online and bought just two booster packs of Gem pack volume two. A fedex worker opened and stole my packs. The company sent me two full booster boxes as well as some free cheap cards. From the booster box i ended up pulled the umbreon SIR. 10/10 experience. Will buy from them again. read more

Honestly I wouldn't leave a one star for anything but this was one of the worst places I've been. Super unprofessional. If you want to come here and buy or trade don't come here. I came here to see if they would be down to trade or buy off me and it took them a while to look through my binder. After they were done they offered me 40 bucks for basically my whole binder. In front of them I did all the math and already knew they were just low balling me because all the cards ungraded (not including some) cost $129.41 but they offered 60% which I was fine with but the math wasn't mathing. They offered 40 bucks with some pretty big hits doesn't make sense. They were buying 27 cards some I haven't included in the price yet, most being full art cards and some really good hits all for 40 bucks? If it were really 60% it would've been $77.64. Yeah no, if you want to buy from here I would suggest this store since they have a vary of options, BUT, if you want to trade or sell do not come here otherwise they will try to scam you. read more

What's the point of setting your hours to a specific opening time if you can't ever open at that time, it's very unprofessional. AWESOME SHOP! The store hosts lots of TCG events from Magic to Pokemon! The store holds a good amount of products as well! (Keep in mind that prices vary, especially pokemon due to the booming popularity of the hobby whether you're a regular collector or player) The staff is amazing and will help you with your TCG needs! Not only that but as a pokemon player, they cater to their regulars that just keeps me coming back! They build great relationships with their frequent players and local TCG community! An added bonus is that you get perks for just showing up and playing in their events, like being able to grab new TCG products for MSRP, and being able to RSVP premiere events. The judges they have in events are the best I've seen! They've built such a welcoming community and have brought people together.
