I love this store. They're friendly and always reach out to help you find what you're looking for, even when it's busy - which is most of the times I've visited. Tons of great cards, the walls are STOCKED with product, every pack of baseball, football, soccer, basketball, hockey, Disney, Pokemon and on and on and on (though nobody seems to stock Panini Donruss Elite NFL 2025, which makes me think I have bad taste.) I've bought some packs for myself, singles, kids' birthday presents and I got my FIFA sticker collection started here. They also have excellent coffee next door. read more

Money hungry place. Everything I looked at was priced way over market. They are asking $165 for a 30th etb which is worse than game stop and everyone hates on GameStop. Chaos rising etb they wanted $85. These are all over marketplace and OfferUp for $65, people can't give that away but this place is charging $20 over market for that. Packs of Pitch black were $8 but there are pegs full of them at target for 4.99 a piece. I understand, pay your rent, make your profit but don't throw people over the coals because you can, especially if you're a business with an LLC and a storefront which means you can order stuff for wholesale. Just seems greedy and bad business. There's a reason the shelves are fulllll of product here. Most sane people aren't going to pay these prices In response to the owners comment Why are you lying ? Your employee said you hadn't received your shipment yet and it was due to come in the next hour and was marked out for delivery and that prices would be $165. read more

It's like a scalper got a store. This place blows. Are you a local trying to get something for your kid? Go somewhere else. This isn't a neighborhood place but more of a rip off shop owned by a master scalper. Things are ridiculously over priced. This place would rather sell one item for 3x the cost than sell 10 items for 1.5 times the cost. The guy working almost got offended that I said everything was so overpriced. Avoid this spot. read more

Now I'm really pissed. I bought a card for close to $50 and just found out it's actually only worth $5-8. Make a profit but don't take advantage of people new to the hobby. read more

You don't just walk out with cards here.... you walk out feeling like you made a new friend. Tucked away in NELA, this legit sports card shop surprised me big time. They've got plenty of 2 mil card sleeves (cheaper than Amazon) and a ton of sports card collections, but the real standout was the interaction. Harry seemed to know exactly what I was going to ask before I even said it, and he had the answer ready. Super welcoming, super genuine. The kind of spot that makes you want to hang out a little longer. Make an afternoon of it. Check out the sports cards and grab lunch from one of the great food spots nearby. read more

This was my first visit to the store, and my initial impression was positive. The shop was well organized, and while browsing I found several items that interested me. One of the employees was helpful enough to place the cards I selected at the front while I continued looking around, which I appreciated. From what I observed, pricing varied depending on the item. Some cards were fairly priced, some below market, and others above market value. One particular vintage moderately played card was listed at $16.77, while recent comparable sales on TCGPlayer appeared to average closer to the $13-15 range. Since I was purchasing multiple items and understood that older vintage cards may not move as quickly as modern inventory, I politely asked if they would consider a flat $15 price on the card. Unfortunately, the interaction that followed left a negative impression. The owner (or manager) seemed unwilling to negotiate, with his first words being "oh, so you want a break." Which came across as unnecessarily hostile over what amounted to a relatively small discount request. I completely understand that local stores have operating costs and are free to price inventory however they choose, but I felt the response lacked professionalism and customer courtesy. Because of that interaction, I decided not to complete my purchase and instead visited CoreTCG in Pasadena afterward, where I had a much more positive experience. The staff there were knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming, and I ultimately spent far more than I originally planned. I genuinely wish this store success, but I hope future customer interactions are handled with a bit more professionalism and openness. read more

They want double tcg lowest verified price for pokemon singles XD hahahaha do your self the favor and buy somewhere else. Just ordered my cards off tcg player. Saved myself good chunk of money. Main head was getting tilted for bringing up tcg player prices. read more

Do not shop here. Owner has napoleon syndrome, was super rude when u start asking about why his prices are so high relative to market price. Saw a fake charizard for sale too. He has the perfect business, taking advantage of the hipster moms in the area that know nothing about tcg player market prices. read more

This is the best card store in our area hands down! I've been taking my kids here for the past 5 years. The owner is always so nice and explains everything to us. The prices are fair and they have the best selection. I highly recommend coming here! read more

The guys there were so nice the cards there were so expensive but they were so money in the future so it's worth it

Staff was very polite and they let me know the prices of the Pokemon bundles before purchasing the item. Excellent customer service will definitely be back for some more Pokemon cards. Thank u for your service and for informing of the upcoming releases. read more

Amazing products and friendly staff! They even have couple booster boxes I can't find anywhere

What a lovely experience! The folks here were super kind and very warm. I came here for the first time this afternoon and will definitely be back. They had a good selection of premium Pokemon cards up front, as well as a ton of cards in their backstock (which was easily searchable with an intuitive inventory system they have for customers to use on their computers!). So much easier to find cards I'm looking for than a typical shop. I also saw the folks working there interact with some curious kids and were super nice and patient with them, which is always great to see. I walked out with a few cards I had been looking for at a great price. So pleased to know this shop is in my area! read more

awesome local card store in eagle rock - they have great selection of pokemon and yu gi oh cards. Awesome store, awesome staff, really great selection of cards. One of the best shops around!

My girlfriend and I came here to look into collecting and playing Lorcana cards. We were a bit intimidated because cause there was a large collection of cards and didn't know where to begin but Art was very friendly and knowledgeable and We ended up buying a couple trove boxes and a booster box. I will definitely be coming back here for more cards!! read more

Took my kids to this local shop, we always drove by and hadnt stopped in. Finally went in and owner Art was real nice and took his time to explain cards to my son. We bought a few packs. The kids also got spoiled by grandma and Art was great with everything. We will stop by often. read more

My friend's son has been wanting to go there to pick up some things for his Pokemon collection. We were greeted by Art, one of the owners. Really nice guy. Helpful, but not at all pushy. I was impressed with how patient Art was with my friend's 9-year-old son. He answered all his questions in a very friendly manner. Art even had an opportunity to make a little bit bigger sale, but told the young man that the "deluxe" version of what he was buying wasn't much different than the regular version...expect for the price. How cool is that! Looks like they have about every kind of card you can imagine. They also have a computer system you can use to look up the price of the cards. They make it really easy for you. I saw someone coming in to sell their son's card collection. I guess they also buy cards and collections too. Parking is on the street, but there's plenty of it. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and had no trouble at all finding a free parking spot on the street. I'm not a card collector or a gamer, but if I knew someone who was, I wouldn't hesitate to tell them about this place. Also, I checked in on Yelp and received a coupon for 5% off my purchase! read more

Staff is always friendly but ripping 9 packs of modern Pokémon with zero hits (and it happening multiple times) isn't just a joke it's a bit suspicious. Never had worse luck with a TCG store in my life. Do with that what you will. In response to the owner... I do buy boxes just not from your store because your prices are insane. I was trying to avoid direct accusations because I don't have proof but there is no way my luck is so bad that it breaks statistical probabilities. I genuinely believe y'all search and weigh what you can and the packs on display are your leftovers which you charge 2x on so you don't lose money digging through boxes you deem worth it (like a box with a potentially $500-$1000 card). Something fishier than Magikarp is going on in my humble opinion, it's that simple. read more

First time finding this store and Art was nice to talk to! I was searching for Digimon and Pokémon cards and he was nice enough to help me out and have a nice conversation with me in between. He was very knowledge about TCG and I will definitely come back! I bought 3 Digimon packs and 6 Pokémon packs and was lucky enough to pull this on my first pack during my stream! Thank you Art for blessing it with your kindness! read more

I passed through this place so many times that I never got to take a look. I bought 3 Pokemon boxes via online and I love the way I was accommodated here when I was coming to pick up in-store. They have a large selection of cards. Didn't know you couldn't return or refund cards...I find it strange that you can not refund or return cards that you would change your mind to depending on what you need it for. Maybe there was a policy stating there was one but didn't find it on their site or anything I understand and DO NOT expect them to have almost to completely no dents or whatever for near mints but when you're looking to build your MTG collection, the last thing you want is a fold or something else on the card...NO MATTER the price... I get near mints at other game shops and they do not usually have dents...except I know that it can be a problem Take your business elsewhere , except if you need some cards that they only have find another way if possible I do not have a problem with the price. I have a problem with their attitude and the fact that they fail to understand it from a collector's perspective or even someone with OCD read more

These guys are awesome! My friend put me on this place and it's the only place I go to buy baseball cards. This is by far my favorite card store!!! The owners of the store are extremely friendly and helpful. They have an excellent system for their single cards that they sell. All of their cards are on their website, and they have two computers set up so that you can make your order. They print it out and pull the cards for you and it's as easy as that. You can take your time and search for what you like, they have so much more stuff than what is in the glass case. I am into Magic the Gathering and they have ever set that is available and really the only place that has this many singles or singles period in the area. I always come here to get new boosters or pre release packs. Their prices on boosters are way lower than a lot of places, and they always do deals like 3 for 10$ mix and match current sets. That's an amazing deal. Again their customer service is a huge reason I keep returning to this place. I'm getting back into gaming and they are extremely nice and educate me in a polite way(especially since I have a ton of questions). The availability of products and the fact that it's super close just make this place a 5star business!!! read more

I've recently picked up collecting cards after a friend of mine re-introduced the hobby to me not too long ago. Not really knowing much about where to start, I went and visited Games & Cards and they pretty much set me on the right course to begin. Ever since then I've been a regular customer. Their selection of cards is fantastic! They have all the sports cards you can ask for and at a reasonable price. They also sell individual cards. They have three computers in their store and you can set out to purchase individuals to collect a base set (which is what I like to do) or if you have a personal collection of a particular player or team, you can search for them and buy it. Easy does it. They also sell all types of protective sleeves, cases and whatnot to protect your more valuable cards. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is into the hobby. The guys who run this shop know what they're talking about and are super cool. Give them a try sometime. You won't be disappointed. read more

Better card stores in the city. Rude customer service. Was asked never to come back again.

This is my single favorite place in Los Angeles for Magic card singles. You go online and make a cart for in store pickup. Their stock is extensive and all represented in their digital inventory. In the store there's a few computers where shoppers can create orders. Sometimes I pay $0.10 more for a common here and there, but the ability to be able to physically go to the place and pick it up same day is great. The guy Art is always down to hear about your deck strategies and is very reasonable. read more

Short review. I was almost embarrassed to call but my son is now into Pokemon and I wanted to get him a used set that was less expensive than the four bucks PER PACK they charge at Target, and they were super nice and super helpful on the phone...
