This store is located on the 2nd level near Macy's. It's not a huge store, but if you're a collector of Funko or pop culture stuff, check it out. They also have model cars, planes and drones that they sell and fix/ repair. The staff is friendly and the let you shop in peace, yet offer their help if you need it. Their Funko's are in good shape and organized by categories. Most are common Pops but he has a few exclusives. Even if you have a ton of Funko's it is still a good place to check out. They're a wee high in price ($12.99) but they are in good condition and it's also helping out a small business inside a high end mall. read more

Bought a brand new RC car, and it doesn't work, and they refuse to return or exchange a new one.

WARNING: If I can put a 0 star I would. Funko pops might be real but DO NOT BUY anything japanese related (nendoroids/figures/etc) here. Or at least do your research. They sell alot of bootleg/knock offs i.e goodsmilecompany stuff. That could be passed off as real to the untrained eye who cant tell the difference. ALWAYS do your research if you are looking for official LEGIT figures. Perfect example is the Saitama nendoroid from them that was a COMPLETE bootleg that it was almost laughable. First thing I notice when I took it out of the box was the cape did not even fit correctly & the leg fell off real quick. (Not suppose to happen). Second thing I notice is the hole to attach the stand is a different shape than the actual stand attachment. It was laughable. Tape was also the only thing used to keep the body parts in place in the packaging. Overall, if youre looking for knockoffs, this is the place. But if you were hoping they would have reputable and official merchandise i would probably do alot of research and go somewhere else. They have a horrible return policy (which makes sense because they dont want people returning the bootleg merchandise) read more

You've lost another customer through terrible customer service. You sell models that don't contain English instructions. Nowhere in the store is this displayed as a precaution to the consumer. Your smug clerk essentially told me "Too bad" while she pushed the model across the desk back to me. I found the same model for 75% less at Hobby Lobby. (Obviously I won't buy this model now that I now it doesn't come with English instructions.) Take your money elsewhere. read more

This mall shop has a wide variety of RC Cars and replica cars. They even have a life-size Chucky doll for sale. The prices are very reasonable, and the store is very organized. The staff was friendly and helpful. read more

Frequent this store from time to time when I visit Santa Anita Mall with friends in the area. They tend to specialize with current pop culture memorabilia items. They have a variety of toy lines that a collector may want or need. Their funko pops are pretty organized and makes it easier to see which unique ones that they currently have on the shelves. Also, tons of pricier items for adult collectors like discontinued or sometimes difficult to find unique pieces. Probably not recommended for kids that want to take it out of the packaging and play with them, The staff is always friendly when I go there, plus they have the tedious task to make sure some guests don't have sticky fingers and walk out with non-purchased items. I see you lady with that massively huge non zipped purse, that huge fanboy/fangirl blocking the view of items from employees, pack of random wanderers with backpacks/carrying bags. Hypnotized Hobbies is located on the top floor of the Westfield mall next to Macy's by the promenade entrance . This place is a collectors dream. Action figurines galore, transformers , cartoon figurines, trading cards, model planes , trains, and automobiles. They even had Garbage Pale Kids. If you don't know what those are you were not an eighties kid , Google them they are funny. This store is marketed to big and little kids. I liked how they have classic and unique board games. These will be a perfect addition for family game night. read more

If you're a model hobbyist they have a decent amount of kits, paints, brushes, etc. I'm more of a FunkoPop collector and they have tons. I was just there a few days ago and scooped the Pinhead and Nosfertu POP figures and they're awesome. Check out the pictures I posted. They also have an insane amount of higher end collectibles in display cases. My favorite of those higher end collectibles is the die cast (I don't know the scale) of the Christine car from John Carpenter's "Christine" film. It's gorgeous but also costs about $200. Yikes. The staff there was pleasant and asked if we needed help or had questions. I'll most likely be back again to scoop up some POP figurines. read more

Came here with the kids, and it had a ton of FUNKO collectibles! It has a big collection of cars and trains, little toy planes, things that kids would love to carry on a trip. They are a little pricey though. Also, I was kind of nervous in there because many things looked fragile and I was afraid the kids would knock things over. I watched them like a hawk. read more

There are always a LOT of characters in stock & usually multiples. It's the only local shop I know that has a ginormous wall just for Pop. Service: Always on point! Was there Saturday afternoon 8/29/15, they had a sign which read "All Hot Wheel cars $1.49" - but then when my son found one to buy we go to the register and it is somehow $4.99. The 2 employees there didn't seem to care or understand why I was a little miffed about the sign and the fact that "all" did not mean "all"?!?! They could care less, the exact opposite of how I believe a customer should be treated. Lots of cool stuff. Has an obscene return policy and service. Puchased a remotecontrolled car. On top of spending 20 minutes to get it to work, it just stopped working after 15-20 minutes. Upon trying to just exchange it for a working car. Was told that because it was used they could not exchange it. The reason being their distributor would not take it back used. I was given the distributor phone number. The outcome is pending. They claimed that they dont get credit to offset defective product. They offered to sell me a replacement for half price? I bought a toy motorcycle for my son. Then we walked around the mall. Within an hour the handle broke. I went back to store to ask to exchange it, since my son was crying and upset. The cashier refused to let me exchange it and told me that toys break and it happens. I told him toys should not break within an hour of purchase. He told me I can call the store owner who would not be in until the next day. He told me he can glue it and then proceeded to glue it. It was not sturdy at all. Will not shop here again and will go to a store that is better with customer service and satisfaction. We bought three small items from Hypnotized Hobbies. Two of them had manufacturing defects (lopsided and with paint splatters on the back that weren't visible in the box) and one of them was flat-out broken. The store has "no refunds or exchanges", so you're stuck with the junk you buy there. The two employees mostly ignored us and the female employee never smiled or behaved like we were her customers. She seemed like she was annoyed by our existence and I think she felt like we were distracting her from chatting with her co-worker. Definitely won't be going back. read more

Purchased tiny drone, "very durable" they said. Guard broke on second day. They have a no return policy which I understand for these kind of toys. Problem was the horrible attitude when talking to them with my problem. They are definitely happy taking your money but very sad angry people when approached with a problem. We bought a motorized boat and got home and they didn't even put the boat in the box!!! I called and they wouldn't refund us without the box and told us we had to drive back in instead of shipping us the boat. So no refund, no boat. I had a dental appointment in the area and was killing time at the local mall. I happened upon this store that sold a great selection of collectibles and most importantly, for me anyway, Funko Pop! The sales gal saw me looking at the Pop! and asked what I was looking for, I said the dragon from...she immediately knew I wanted Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon. They had him! Visited this store today and will never again. They flip funko pop chases and anything that's wanted. They were trying to sell a wolverine action figure that had a crappy box for 45 bucks (originally priced at 20 bucks) and were selling chases for 45 as well. Owner is probably a greedy person, won't buy anything from here and will let everyone know to not support this store. read more

I will never shop at this store again. My 8 year old son saved his money so that he can buy his first horizon race car. We took it home and found that it was broken. Went back to store within a day and they were so unhelpful and would not let me exchange it. My son was heartbroken and the "manager" was giving me the run-around forever. I walked by the store and ALL I SAW WERE POPS! Which is amazing for me being a Pop collector! They had the best selections on the Pops that are in and even had details for Retired Pops, There workers seemed to know there POPS! and some details about the release dates for Pops to come!
