Great service nice staff. Very wide and awesome selection of Funko pops, blind bags, and die cast. Items are placed at a reasonable price.

This place has tons of diecast cars, model kits, funko pops and other hobby toys. The staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. Definitely worth checking out.

This store is located on the 2nd level near Macy's. It's not a huge store, but if you're a collector of Funko or pop culture stuff, check it out. They also have model cars, planes and drones that they sell and fix/ repair. The staff is friendly and the let you shop in peace, yet offer their help if you need it. Their Funko's are in good shape and organized by categories. Most are common Pops but he has a few exclusives. Even if you have a ton of Funko's it is still a good place to check out. They're a wee high in price ($12.99) but they are in good condition and it's also helping out a small business inside a high end mall.

Leg fell off quickly, cape did not fit at all. (Fake nendoroid beware)

WARNING: If I can put a 0 star I would. Funko pops might be real but DO NOT BUY anything japanese related (nendoroids/figures/etc) here. Or at least do your research. They sell alot of bootleg/knock offs i.e goodsmilecompany stuff. That could be passed off as real to the untrained eye who cant tell the difference. ALWAYS do your research if you are looking for official LEGIT figures. Perfect example is the Saitama nendoroid from them that was a COMPLETE bootleg that it was almost laughable. First thing I notice when I took it out of the box was the cape did not even fit correctly & the leg fell off real quick. (Not suppose to happen). Second thing I notice is the hole to attach the stand is a different shape than the actual stand attachment. It was laughable. Tape was also the only thing used to keep the body parts in place in the packaging. Overall, if youre looking for knockoffs, this is the place. But if you were hoping they would have reputable and official merchandise i would probably do alot of research and go somewhere else. They have a horrible return policy (which makes sense because they dont want people returning the bootleg merchandise)

This mall shop has a wide variety of RC Cars and replica cars. They even have a life-size Chucky doll for sale. The prices are very reasonable, and the store is very organized. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Frequent this store from time to time when I visit Santa Anita Mall with friends in the area. They tend to specialize with current pop culture memorabilia items. They have a variety of toy lines that a collector may want or need. Their funko pops are pretty organized and makes it easier to see which unique ones that they currently have on the shelves. Also, tons of pricier items for adult collectors like discontinued or sometimes difficult to find unique pieces. Probably not recommended for kids that want to take it out of the packaging and play with them, The staff is always friendly when I go there, plus they have the tedious task to make sure some guests don't have sticky fingers and walk out with non-purchased items. I see you lady with that massively huge non zipped purse, that huge fanboy/fangirl blocking the view of items from employees, pack of random wanderers with backpacks/carrying bags. I used to work retail, so I know.

Hypnotized Hobbies is located on the top floor of the Westfield mall next to Macy's by the promenade entrance . This place is a collectors dream. Action figurines galore, transformers , cartoon figurines, trading cards, model planes , trains, and automobiles. They even had Garbage Pale Kids. If you don't know what those are you were not an eighties kid , Google them they are funny. This store is marketed to big and little kids. I liked how they have classic and unique board games. These will be a perfect addition for family game night.

    FunkoPop Pinhead...

If you're a model hobbyist they have a decent amount of kits, paints, brushes, etc. I'm more of a FunkoPop collector and they have tons. I was just there a few days ago and scooped the Pinhead and Nosfertu POP figures and they're awesome. Check out the pictures I posted. They also have an insane amount of higher end collectibles in display cases. My favorite of those higher end collectibles is the die cast (I don't know the scale) of the Christine car from John Carpenter's "Christine" film. It's gorgeous but also costs about $200. Yikes. The staff there was pleasant and asked if we needed help or had questions. I'll most likely be back again to scoop up some POP figurines.

Avoid this store for tournaments…read more I had a confirmed registration through the Bandai app for their tournament, yet when I arrived 10 minutes early, I was turned away. The store had set an early check-in cutoff that was only announced on their private Discord server, with no notification on the Bandai app where players actually registered. As a result, waitlisted players were let in ahead of those of us with confirmed spots, and we were then told to join a waitlist of 40+ people, despite having already secured our registrations. Several other registered players I knew experienced the same problem. Many of them had driven over 45 minutes with the assumption of a secured spot while arriving before the start time. This is a serious problem. If an event is open to the public and registration is handled through the Bandai app, critical information like check-in deadlines should be communicated through that same platform, not buried in a Discord that not all participants know about or have access to. The way this was handled strongly favors locals and regulars who are already in their circle, which is unfair to outside players who followed the proper registration process. I would not recommend supporting this shop.

They host tournaments as well, and have plenty of tables and chairs for casual play. It seems like locals and visitors drop by to check out this spot. The first time we came, we did not receive the best customer service. We were asking for what cards they had available and the person at the counter had short answers and we were ignored no matter how many times we tried to get their attention. The second time we came, it was much friendlier and warm. They shared with us that tournaments for One Piece tournaments happen (at least for now) on Thursdays and Sundays. We are still "shopping" around for an LCS but we will definitely keep them in mind and come to a tournament to check out the community. I like how the shop has an open space feel to it and offer some food and drinks.

As a middle-aged father looking for a hobby we could share that didn't involve screens or video games, I'd read a bit about Gunpla and decided to give it a shot. What a find! The owner was incredibly helpful and patient with us, taking the time to understand what we were looking for and guiding us to first sets that were perfect for our skill levels. His enthusiasm was genuine, and it made the whole experience fun and welcoming, never overwhelming for complete beginners like us. The prices are very reasonable, which is a huge plus when you're testing out a new hobby with your kid. We both walked out with our own kits, and I have to say, I'm just as hooked as my son! Building these models has been a surprisingly relaxing and rewarding experience, and I'm already looking forward to tackling more complex builds and refining them. I'm planning to return soon to pick up a few more sets for Christmas gifts and to expand my own collection. If you're looking for a screen-free activity to share with your children or just want to explore the world of Gunpla, I highly recommend stopping by this shop. The passion and knowledge of the owner really make all the difference.

They're a lot more Michaels stores and this might be the first integration of Hobby lobby here in this area. I know there is one out in West Covina, and that might be the next closest location, but that's still quite a distance away. Everything is very well organized here. It does feel a little bit dated inside, even though this is a newer store. I can't remember if they took over a mervyns or Sears or something but everything is very well organized, and very easy to find where things are. The checkout process is a little bit of a bottleneck. Maybe it's not easier to do self check out kiosks otherwise they would've done it already. On the way out, there was a lady that was upset because the registers are staggered in a specific way, and she either overshot it and I didn't understand the flow of things so she was upset about how she wasn't able to check out yet The immediate area right outside Hobby lobby is a little bit chaotic. A lot of cars and lots of people are trying to park here so sometimes the directional flow things proves to be a little bit challenging for people. It is a bit hectic so don't drive too fast.

Went to have a painting framed, that I've had since the 90's…read more It was done by a family member and I am quite fond of it. A pretty good reproduction of an original Gauguin that happens to be in a nearby Pasadena art museum. Well, we paid a visit to Hobby Lobby, as we were picking up some things from nearby Whole Foods. The store occupies Sear's old location on Foothill. It's a huge place and designed to get you to walk around for things as signage isn't plentiful or helpful. Shelves are high so unless you are very tall you need to search around, guess they took that cue from Costco, it works if you aren't in a hurry. We were happy to find they had a framing department and also a fabric area, which, since the sad closing of JoAnne's, I was glad to see for the ghost of my mother who enjoyed sewing. I'm focusing on the Framing department and the friendly efficient gentleman in charge of that department, his name is Theo. He was helpful and friendly from the start. Their framing prices are posted as 50% off, which sounded great, but I guess the original prices need to be considered before seeing this as a good deal. Well, we checked on one style which had always been our original style we felt appropriate for this art work. We visited Tahiti a couple of years ago and and saw some Gaugain copies framed in a similar style, it works very well, so we inquired as to cost and estimated the size as we didn't have the painting with us. It was very reasonable compared to the frame shops we have checked over the decades, yes, decades! It was a very fair price, not knowing the quality of the work was something to consider, but Theo was very efficient and knew his products and was very meticulous. We could tell we were in very good hands. We were quoted, less the 50%, a little under $100 before tax. A very fair price. We were given a "finish by date", and 5 days before that date I gave a call to check on status, I was told it would be done in a couple of days. I was surprised and happy to receive a message later that day from Theo that our framing job was finished and available for pick up. We got over there that evening and Though Theo was gone then, a nice young lady got our finished product for us. It looked very nice. She walked us and the painting up to the lone cashier, as that is their policy, and we waited in line to pay. They did open another register as the line was about 6 people deep. I'm not going to get into their company politics, but over all it was a positive experience, especially thanks to Theo and his friendly, knowledgeable service and framing skill. Thanks Theo!

Staff here is great. They're friendly and very informative which is always a nice sight to see for newcomers. In the back, you'll find many tables where people visit to play all types of games. Ranging from board games, cards, DnD, and list goes on. Best part is that you can try all types of games for free. My wife and I visited with some friends and we had such a wonderful time playing board games. Time flew by so fast as we were all having fun. I'd say the tables could use some cleaning but very spacious overall. Parking is out in the back but it's pretty limited. Street parking is also available but watch out for time slots. Overall, very happy about Odyssey Games, very much a must visit spot if you love board games. Place can get packed as you'll often find plenty of people here.
