I reached out to Mike at TCG SGV, and we were able to work out a deal that felt fair. He was communicative and knowledgeable throughout the process, and his offer reflected a fair market value for the collection. Given the circumstances, I really appreciated being able to work with someone who made the transaction straightforward. Could I have gotten more by holding onto everything longer or taking the time to sell pieces individually? Possibly, but time was of the essence, and Mike helped me get it done when I needed to. For me, the fairness, communication, and quick turnaround made a difficult decision a little easier to handle. Selling a personal collection is never easy, especially when it's not entirely by choice, but I'm grateful that this was a positive experience. Thank you, Mike, for working with me. I hope we can do more deals in the future under better circumstances.

Location/Parking: Located in a small strip mall between N Vista Street and Burton Ave. on Las Tunas Blvd.. Parking can be found either in the small shared parking lot up front or along Las Tunas. Ambiance/Decor: Ambiance is alright. Not as modern looking as other card shops. They don't really have cards for sale in their display cases. Service: Service is alright, but their business hours hasn't been consistent. The last couple of times they were closed. Card Selection: Card selections are alright. They mostly carry modern singles in two big binders, single pacx, and box sets. Poke Station For Thought: I would probably visit again. Probably have to call first to see if they're open.

Selection was really open and very wide spread and I was there for at least 20ish mins to browse and get some good Pops to add to my collection. Service was great the owner Lluvia I think if that's right, she was super nice. Did know most of the prices she'd go for, the Freddy Funko Pop of him as a captain I asked her she gave me $30 and for the 500 piece soda was for $25 some Pops didn't have prices either since they just got them in or they personally collected but got rid of but just pointing it out would be nice to have everything on the website, I didn't see the ones I bought that day on the website maybe be nice if they can make a categorized website tab by genre like in the store is all categorized correctly by genre. Value was really accurate way better prices then I've been too. I'll be back to see this place again maybe one day. Selection was nice and wide open always check behind stuff too because theirs more behind, if you personally go. They have a lot of stuff don't get yourself lost here.

Of course, the fact that it's like a museum, a lot of the things in here are pricey but you can tell the amount of work put into it by how detailed all the statues are. It's a rare sight and fun to visit if you're in this area! He lady worker didn't seem too interested and was kind of just looking down while the room filled with customers. Lots of kids as well so it's a little scary not to keep an eye on them in case they knock something down. You don't normally see stuff like this at regular malls so it's definitely a nice change of pace. Hoping to see more stuff like this at other malls but also not sure how often they sell something since these statues go for $500+! I saw one for $800 but it was beautiful. New anime shop at Westfield Santa Anita!…read more So glad that this mall is getting more anime options and this place really gives the vibe of an "anime museum" haha. I believe that these may be the same people who did Hot Pot Penjing based on their Instagram. (LOVED that place and wish that I had a chance to go there more and I missed the chance to get that Touko Aozaki figure...). They specialize in anime statues. That's right, STATUES. Not just regular figures. They have those huge, super detailed, scale figures with prices ranging from $300-1k+ If you are a big One Piece, DBZ, or Demon Slayer fan, this this the place for you. Lots of huge statues for these series. In addition to these statues, there are some fancier figures, Nesoberis ($35 which is the standard price), and some playmats of various series. I'm not super big into most shonen series (as a non-casual lmao), but they did have some bigger Fate series items like Formal Craft Rin and a Scathach figure. Would like to see some smaller scale figures here from other series too. Regardless, it's a fun place to check out if you are an anime fan!

There is no public restroom, so they told me to go next door to the laundry mat. Parking is street parking, but what ive done is park inside the liquor store parking lot, go inside the store and buy some snacks/drinks/food, and then go into the hobby shop. They offer gift cards in case you dont know what to get for your hobby friend. Trust me, idk what my husband has in his back log so it was easier for me to get him a gift card than to get him something he already has.

Sega Pop-Up Shop @ Anime Jungle…read more I had a great time checking out the Sega Pop-Up Shop in Little Tokyo at Anime Jungle! The pop-up runs through August, and while the main focus is Sonic the Hedgehog, they also have merch from Persona and Yakuza. Going on a weekday with a friend was definitely the right move--we only had to wait a few minutes to get in. Upon entering, staff hands you a ticket, and employees closely monitor the room while you browse. The shop is exceptionally well-organized, making it fun to look through all the beautiful, high-quality items. Since almost everything is directly imported from Japan and hard to find in the U.S., the prices are definitely on the higher side, but the exclusivity makes it worth it. I couldn't resist picking up a miniature Shadow the Hedgehog plush! The only downside to the visit was the customer service at checkout. The two employees at the register were busy chatting with each other, so I eventually had to speak up to ask if I could check out. The employee who rang me up seemed annoyed by the interruption, skipped any friendly greetings or questions about my visit, and just handed over my item after scanning it. Despite that brief hiccup at the counter, the overall experience was super positive. It was so fun wearing my Sonic shirt, seeing all the Japanese exclusive merchandise, and taking in the atmosphere. No problem--I started looking for another item to add since I was planning to spend more anyway. As they started to announce the store was closing, I asked if I could quickly grab cash from a friend outside the store and was asked, "Can you do it in 3 minutes?" This same associate was managing the customers going in to the store and she seemed to have issues remembering people's faces. I understand the store was closing, but the interaction felt rushed and unwelcoming. I was still trying to make a purchase and likely would have bought additional items, but after being treated like an inconvenience, I decided to leave instead.
