Penny is always responsive and giving us suggestions on the flower bouquet. She helps us to recommend the flowers bouquet based on the budget / price range. Penny and her team never disappoint me with the flowers bouquet and quality is always excellent!!! Whenever I bring the flower bouquet to event, people will stop, stare and give compliments. Keep it up Penny!! Highly recommended spot
Flowers has the most beautiful selection of floral designs! I've been gifted these Hong Kong style roses every year for the past 8 years in lots of different colors & they are all so pretty! The best part is that these roses last for months, even a couple years, making these totally worth it! I highly recommend Hong Kong roses for all your special occasions. Penny makes sure that your floral design is exactly what you want & the flower delivery service is excellent as well! Thank you, Penny for your beautiful roses!
On a Saturday, I bought flowers for my grandma's birthday. Service here is as easy as calling or texting Penny directly. As a returning customer, I felt comfortable texting Penny with a preference (pink and yellow flowers). The flowers came out beautifully, and my grandma really liked them. Compared to other flower shops I've visited in the past around the area, Penny's performs relatively well in both floral value and quality. My business with Penny's Flowers last year was a great experience during Mothers' Day. I called and easily ordered two bouquets each including some Hong Kong roses which they specialize in. The florist was so kind to help carry the flowers to my car. The bouquets turned out amazing for value I agreed with. When I picked them up, the employee there was nice and offered me small complimentary cards to attach to the bouquets. While I recommend shopping around for your own quality and value preferences, I do think that Penny's Flowers is a top choice in Rowland Heights.
i have been coming to Penny for 8 years now and she has not disappointed one time in all those years. the absolute best at what she does and i know if i ever need flowers she's the person to go too every time. she and her team are extremely talented which is why for someone who wants value, reliable, and to impress there is no one else who comes close. she can direct the entire bouquet for you or go off of your vision-- no matter what you'll leave feeling like you got more than what you paid for each time.
Placed last minute order again (I need to stop doing that LOL) day before my friends birthday celebration and they were able to accommodate to my pickup time for the next day! Simply ordered a half dozen pastel/light pink HK flowers & I was out within 10 minutes When I came to pick up, I was informed that instead of 6 flowers, I was given 8 due to the flowers being slightly small. This was really unexpected, but it was a great surprise! It looked absolutely beautiful and my friend who typically hate flowers- LOVED IT !
As someone who's taken flower arrangement lessons, I have high standards for flower stands, especially for a close friend's funeral. I was fortunate to find Penny's Flower. The boss and associates were sincere, caring, and went above & beyond with follow-ups and suggestions for a touching condolence card. They handled all my requests and last-minute changes without any fuss. They are genuine care for customers. They provided quality flowers exactly as I requested. The design and arrangement were full and well worth the cost. With their great service and credibility, it's no surprise they've been a neighborhood gem for years. Highly recommended!
LOVE THIS FLOWER SHOP- my go-to spot for many years for my special occasions!! I love the beautiful hongkong inspired flowers, it's classy and always elegant. These are some I've gotten from them and I love to personalized them myself by adding other details to the flowers. Like me adding money flowers and other details on top of the roses... I Highly recommend!
Penny's knocked it out of the park with these gorgeous corsages!! I'm still in awe with how beautiful these turned out. They were so kind while taking down my order and accommodating with the specific choices that I wanted even though it was outside of their norm (orchids instead of traditional roses). The price was also ridiculously reasonable and you definitely get your money's worth. Will certainly be coming back here for any of my floral needs.
Honestly I feel a bit emotional writing this review now. My prom date saved up to buy me a corsage from Penny's flower shop back in spring 2011. I thought it was breathtaking and saved it since then--13 years later the dried piece is still gorgeous and brings back great memories. This week, I decided I wanted one for my mom and impulse-bought a second for myself just because. In over a decade, Penny increased her price so marginally that I couldn't say no to two, in different color schemes that Penny executed magically. I love this small business and that it's stood the test of time. I plan to get all the flowers for my mom from here now that I know they're still in business. Thank you Penny, for helping us make more memories
Today was such a stressful day as it's my daughter's 17th birthday. I ordered a bouquet from Penny's flowers a few days ago as the store was highly recommended by many. When I went to pick up the flowers, it wasn't what I expected. To make a long story short, Penny was able to patiently listen to bridge the gap of miscommunication. She offered to redo a brand new one and to deliver it to me. I must say that, the bouquet came exactly how my daughter wanted. Thank you for your superb customer service that you went above and beyond to help your costumers create wonderful memories by making your bouquet so beautiful. I highly recommend this flower shop.
It's been about 10 years since I did my first review and I feel the same way now as I did back then. Penny's floral shop is really wonderful. They are willing to work with your budget, and are very cognizant about what flowers are appropriate for specific occasions. I wanted a floral arrangement for my mother after her mother (my grandma) passed away. The flower shop sent me examples via text and worked with me when I asked to add something specific. The arrangement came out so beautiful. My mom was very moved-- she cried. Penny's is very friendly, helpful, and still specialize in Hong Kong style arrangements (which I've ordered in the past). I am happy to support a local business as well. Do not hesitate to come here for all your floral needs!

Penny is awesome! You can call her and let her know what you want/need and also can text her photos of samples. She so great and so nice! Everything is easy and always comes out how you ordered it. I come to her for all my Hong Kong style flowers and I have referred her to my co workers and they love it! read more
I think I've gotten about 9 maybe 10 hong long style bouquets from here. I have never been disappointed... Yes yes yes the price is a bit steep but check out how long they last (see my photos) Instead of calling in I usually text penny what I want, there was one time I asked for a very specific color of green and we went back and forth through text till I found something gorgeous. (Make sure you order a month out before Valentine's day, they are completely slammed and requires and order in advance.) I was told that you should hang them upside down, but my mom's bouquet never hung upside down still looks kinda good (18 months old bouquet). It also could be because it has earthy tones read more

Love the flowers and arrangement. Penny is very helpful: she would recommend the types, colors and quantity of the flowers per the occasion. One big plus is that they open on Sundays on which many florists are closed. read more

Thank you for my daughters beautiful graduation bouquet!!!! She was so nice over the phone when I first called to inquire on pricing and the diff colors she offers for the Hong Kong style roses. I went to pick them up today and they are absolutely gorge!!! I opted for half a dz glitter roses ($70) but had a little doubt it was gonna look small. But it came out as big as a dz. Very happy with them and I'm sure my daughter will be as well. read more
The owner is so nice and helpful, and very knowledgeable with advice for the best flowers for specific occasions and intended placements. Intended to get a Mother's Day bouquet but glad I listened to her recommendation to go with a large orchid in a pretty marble pot instead. A month later, mom is still ecstatic to see new buds blooming. read more
Sending my best friend flowers had always been a challenge with the "expected delivery time between literally all day" and rearranging it after it arrives. Between that and her getting a job where she travels more and no longer has a desk to deliver them to, I decided to find a local florist to order flowers from and bring them to her myself. They're conveniently located mid-way between both of our houses so that I could pick it up on my way there. Penny (or whoever was on the other end of the phone) was very accommodating with a first-time amateur bouquet orderer like me. Offering suggestions of colors and types of flowers that would be best. Placing the order and paying through Zelle was very easy and the experience was great enough that I ordered another bouquet through them this year and they looked just as great. Highly recommend giving them a call or a visit for your flower needs. Also they speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English at least, so whichever language you're comfortable with, they'll be able to convert your description into flowers. read more

My birthday is near Valentine's Day and so you'd think there would be a lot of great options for my best friend to get a bouquet for me, but it's often crunch time for all vendors so it's a struggle to find a place that's flexible, has beautiful designs, and is well priced. Well he somehow stumbled upon Penny's Flowers and has been happy with the service and costs. I can't speak to that as I'm just on the receiving end of receiving said flowers, but I'm always happy with how gorgeous the bouquets are, how nice they smell, and how artfully arranged they are. read more

After calling around to different places, Penny's Flowers was the most reasonable pricing for HK flowers. I needed some flowers for my sister's nursing graduation and I'm so glad to have found this place. I was able to place an order for the same week and they came out absolutely gorgeous. We received so many compliments at the graduation and they looked gorgeous. I've already saved this place for all my future needs! read more

Got the HongKong style bouquet for Mother's day. So pretty my mom loved it so much. Couldn't decide between pink (too pale) and red (too dark). The lady was so sweet to tell me there's fuchsia pink available and asked me to take a look to see if I'd like it better. It was the perfect pink. She also helped me to write a sweet happy Mother's Day on the card in Chinese. They do delivery for $10. Finished product was beautiful, they added other flower to add more color. Just perfect. And it lasted a long time. read more

We were in the Rowland Heights area this past weekend and my husband decided to stop by and say hi to Penny because she helped us with our flowers decorations for our wedding 17 years ago! We were living in the Bay Area back then and after our wedding we didn't get a chance to say thank you to Penny for her beautiful work. We wanted these flowers decorations but due to budget we decided not to get it. But on the day of our wedding, Penny brought these flowers decorations for us with no charge. We were really appreciative of her kindness. We also brought our kids with us this time and Penny was really happy to see us. She gave my daughter this beautiful flower basket! As always, Penny is always so kind to her customers read more

2023 update-- My go-to floral shop for all occasions 1000% ! I live in Orange County and This small business so amazing that my bf and I make the trip out to Rowland heights just to get their Hong Kong style bouquets! Penny is wonderful and extremely kind. She is so good to her customers and you can tell how much she loves meeting new people who travel far to get flowers from her. I've gotten flowers from this shop for 7 years now my boyfriend orders from penny for all special occasions. Highly recommend supporting this business because they deserve so much more recognition. Prices range from $70-90 for a half down roses that are customized to the color and style of your choice! read more
