I needed last minute flowers for my friend's birthday and I came across this flower shop by chance. Upon arriving, my boyfriend and I were greeted promptly. I was so glad that there were premade bouquets for sale. All of the bouquets were in vases, but you can request for it to be made into a hand carry bouquet which we did. The flowers were fresh and stunning, especially in all white. As far as the cost go, it was definitely worth it! Cecilia was the one who helped us and she truly was the sweetest. I pulled all the cash I had on me and asked the florist if she could whip up a small colorful bouquet of flowers for my mom. In about ten minutes time she pulled together a nice assortment of roses, daises, lilies and filler. My mom was very happy. Pros: - Open early! They were open earlier than the times listed on the sign on the door. She actually apologized asked if I was waiting outside stating she was actually in later than usual that morning. - Fast! Make sure when you order any type of arrangement that it is the correct one because they will send you a cheaper one that doesn't even look like what you ordered. FYI this happened to me twice..not once but twice! I will never and will make sure I do not deal with this florist. Go to Ron & Alicia Robinson Florist in Rowland Heights they go above and beyond! 1st mistake they delivered wrong date and not a plant arrangement I ordered, then they wanted to pick up their plant and never showed! 2nd time they delivered another plant that doesn't look like what I ordered. After I complained they came to my house and picked up both plants and said I cannot give it to you for free. When you screw up not once but twice your suppose to leave the arrangement but that's okay honestly I don't want their bush in a basket that was cheaper than what I paid for plus some of the leaves wear ripped on both arrangements. This is the worst florist I have ever dealt with! If they didn't have the same plants..you could of came close to what the tropical look is or call.. communication is key! I was looking at spending about $20 but I wasn't sure if they were gonna be all shiesty and give me a small arrangement..but when she asked what I was looking to spend and what colors and flowers I liked she made a pretty nice arrangement. It was a big yellow and white boquet of white roses, lilies, daisies, and some babys breath. I was really pleased with how she arranged it and wrapped it with tulle. Also they do the rose boquets where they dip it in glitter and you can dry it and keep it forever! My parents got me a dozen of them when they came to my first luau performance and its still sittin pretty in my room. =P read more

After being denied at a different shop, I decided to come here the day before Mother's Day to place an order. My boyfriend always gets my roses here and they're always BEAUTIFUL and last long. They have a good sized shop and a huge variety of flowers to choose from! I placed 5 different orders for all the mother figures in my life. And everything I asked for, she said yes no problem we have it! Yay what a relief! I needed 2 large arrangements of roses and 3 smaller arrangements. She gave me a deal because of the size of my order and it came out to $289. She have me my receipt and told her of be in around 9AM. Came in the next morning and my order was ready to go! All they arrangements looked perfect!! The owner (I believe) told her they upgraded the 3 smaller arrangements and no extra charge! She had her son as her little helper that day and they both carried the flowers to my car and made sure they were secure for my drive to oc. So sweet. They made my morning convenient and stress free. Terrible customer service!!! First of all, if you place an order online with Charming Flowers for a specific date, it's more than likely that they'll screw it up, because apparently they don't thoroughly read the "requested delivery date." I called requesting an explanation of why the delivery date was screwed up and the owner's response was, "the driver thought it was today." I was appalled by her response. I advised that my confirmation clearly states the date that I wanted flowers to be delivered. All she said was "oh well." Wow! I requested a refund and the owner tried to brush me off. Almost as if she didn't want to deal with the problem. She finally agreed to refund me, but is taking a very long time to do so. I called to inquire and again just wants to brush me off. I guess she thinks that I'll just "forget." BEWARE of CHARMING FLOWERS!!! Not a reliable florist and even worser customer service. Ohhhh and the quality of the flowers.....eeeek! read more

Placed an order for a tabletop centerpiece a week before. The person helping took down notes on color preferences and we discussed that this was going to be a centerpiece. We called again to make sure we could have the centerpiece ready in the morning since we needed it for wedding. And lucky enough they said they could do it. Right? WRONG. We came on the day that the centerpiece was promised for pickup...and THERE WAS NO APOLOGY and they didn't have it ready. They said they needed 15 minutes to put together and to come back. They also stated that because of this situation she was gonna to make sure she made it a little nicer/bigger. That sounded nice so we left so we don't linger and watch over her so she can work. We come back 30 minutes later...guess what? They gave us a bouquet. That is not what we paid $50 bucks for. A bouquet. And it wasn't the colors we discussed and agreed upon. There was still no apology. Mind you, that I remained calm and polite this whole time because at the end of the day we paid for this and we still wanted a centerpiece. We reiterated that this was a time sensitive centerpiece we ordered and that we had a look and theme for the wedding so it was important. The woman goes back and puts filler flowers (these are the cheap flowers you get for 2 bucks) and she put in 2 purple roses...not in the colors we asked for and definitely not worth the money we paid for. It wasn't a holiday weekend. We booked ahead in advance. We were polite and we gave her time and didn't watch over her because we wanted to give her a chance. But you messed up 4 times! Couldn't even redeem yourself so thats why you're getting this rating. Luckily we also ordered another centerpiece from another local florist and that came out more beautiful and it cost less!! been buying from this friendly, family-owned floral shop for years. they really try to work w/ u if u give them a budget and color scheme. if u can't think of an arrangement, they have plenty of pictures (in albums 'n on the comp) to choose from. they're reasonably priced and their arrangements are pretty. i've been to other florists that charge less for their HK-style wrapped roses, but u'll get sparsely glittered roses wrapped in funky mismatched material, um...don't u want to impress the person u're giving them to? HK-style wrapped roses (1/2 dozen) run about ~$48, i think one HK rose is $10 -- good pick since they look the same when they're dried, a decent sized graduation bouquet w/ lilies 'n roses can run u $40-$60. the only problem i've ever run into was that i made a few orders for separate days and they took it down on one order sheet, so when i went to pick it up the 2nd time, they didn't have it ready yet. tips: BRING your receipt, esp if u made multiple orders, 'n i suggest choosing a pick-up time a few hours before ur actual event, just in case that happens to u. read more
