I ordered a pair of Bait brand shorts online in the size I wear in literally every other brand, the Bait shorts show up and they're easily 2 sizes smaller despite what the tag says. I knew that after I get my refreshment, I will come in here for some quick window shopping because I always love the art work and merchandises sold here! I made it a tradition to purchase their transformers figure pops for my son. He loves to collect them!!! Located in a plaza in Diamond Bar. My son wanted a Bait T-shirt, but couldn't order it online so we drove to this location to purchase it in person. There's so much eye candy for a collector. We ended up buying him two T-shirts and a pair of shoes, which he immediately put on the shirt and shoes when we got back to the car. Employees here were so very nice and helpful. My go-to place for all things hype and geeky! I love all things sneaker culture and anime so this is the one spot that has it all. This location in particular has very good service and the people that work here are usually really nice. Every time I've come in, they're welcoming, friendly, and quite helpful. Some other locations don't even say anything to us when we enter the building. I love this location a lot and BAIT as a whole entity. Keep doing what y'all do best! P.S. Bought a few reaction figures. The cards are them are all bent because of horrible packaging. I reached out to them telling them about the issue and they dismissed me like it was nothing. Told me they had no control over the packaging. I told him it had nothing to do with the packaging. it was the way they packed it. They just threw them in the box. One side had no cushioning... I love to shop here but their product options are getting smaller.... Shoes selections are great! They always pick the perfect designs to sell in the store. They have some of Nike, Adidas, New Balance and Converse that you normally don't see at regular retail stores. They don't markup the prices so much that they are reasonable and affordable.... Really cool spot. I've been here twice. Was referred here by a co-worker and picked up a pair of Powder Blue lows. 2nd time coming was for the L & F drop. I've never camped out before and the system they had made it very fair for everyone. The store manager was super friendly and courteous to everyone waiting. Either know for a fact that the show you're purchasing is your size or shop at another retailer. I ordered a 400% Bearbrick on 12/2. The item was in stock & like many other reviews said, I was asked to provide additional, sketchy information because I was shipping to an alternative address. I did so on 12/3, without hesitation, because the Bearbrick was supposed to be a Christmas gift & I knew the mail was going to be a nightmare. The website says that processing time, under normal circumstances, is 1-2 days. There is a disclaimer that because of COVID, things will be delayed. Still, considering it was 12/2, I thought I would be in the clear for ordering a Christmas present. On 12/10, I reached out to customer service because I had been charged the full amount but still had no processing information. It was a Thursday. The response was that the item would be shipped by end of week or early the following week. I was pacified. Come Tuesday 12/15, still no movement on processing. I emailed customer service again for an update & received the exact same email back verbatim. I responded this time & asked for a more specific update, because it was clear that they weren't actually looking into my order. The response then was that I could cancel the order if I wanted. A few things here: 1. They already took the full amount out of my account. Not a hold. The purchase was processed. Considering the level of service I had received so far, I didn't have faith I would get the money back quickly. 2. Bearbricks aren't easy to find without an inflated resale value. So I waited. I waited until 12/20, when I tried one last Hail Mary for a Christmas gift. This time, the response said that my order should be processed some time in the up coming WEEKS. I printed out a picture of the Bearbrick for the Christmas gift. Luckily my husband didn't think I totally failed as a wife. The Bearbrick was delivered today. It shipped on 12/28. This is a trash way to handle business. Support your local resellers instead, clearly they can't be bothered. read more

When I stepped in, I honestly thought I was in NYC or DTLA because it's rare to find such a cool store like this in the area! It was even weirder to find this place in the same shopping center as H Mart and Asian restaurants. Looking around, there was a huge, unique variety of clothes and shoes. And how they displayed everything was really cool and impressive. Especially with the huge animated Lebron figure in the front! While I browsed the clothes, the employees checked in on me and asked if I needed help with anything. There was even an upstairs that I checked out and I would've bought something if it wasn't so expensive. When the purchase was made we were handed some gold coins and told that the figures would arrive in March 2022. We were SHOCKED. But decided to wait. January passed with no updates. Then in mid March when we still heard nothing I reached out to BAIT and they changed the date to MAY then JULY then August or September. BAIT IS THE WORST. You have to hound them for information. They offer no discounts, no updates, nothing for the loyalty its customers have shown. NEVER AGAIN. I didnt even know what this place was until I was next door to this place for my cousins class and realized it. They have lot of brands that they carry along with their own line BAIT. The whole store was on sale, everything was 20% off and their own line was 40% off the original price. I was looking to get a shirt for my brother and saw a stussy shirt they had and ended up picking one up for my brother. The material of the shirt was very soft and the design was simple. They also have this special thing you can sign up to get a free socks. Even though it was time consuming but I did it anyways cuz my cousin told me to do it and went back after we set up everything on the site and got our free socks. One of my cousin was able to get the shoe she wanted but they didnt have a size for my other cousin. Seemed like they didnt have lot of sizing options and just selling whatever they have left. Really really disappointed!! Bought a pair of shoes from them online and they were to small, so,I had to return them. Not only Refunded me the shoes cost, not the shipping cost - PLUS I had to pay out of my pocket to return them and that cost me $21 ground shipping. They have a couple of basketball figures and video game themed clothes. I say your best bet is to go to the website first and see their products for sale. Let me start by saying that no stars would be given if possible. I recently ordered the newly released Overkill EQT Support for my brother, and Godson. I was hyped because I was able to secure them both a pair with Bait. This was on 5/25/17. I immediately stopped my hunt for the shoes. To my surprise, come Tuesday 5/30/17. I receive an email "Order Verification" from Bait requesting a photo of my government issued I.D.( Drivers License/Passport), a photo of a utility bill with my address, and a photo of my C.C. Used for the purchase. Email states that if I am uncomfortable sending the requested information, I can simply cancel the order. What kind of bull shit is this? I immediately contacted them to make sure this isn't a hoax, or scam. To my surprise it's not. Apparently it's for my safety as a buyer. How the fuck am I going to feel safe providing you with such sensitive information via email. Only banks/government agencies ask for this kind of information. I suggested different solutions, such as getting in contact with my bank. Mailing the items to their branch in SF for me to pick up in person, and be identified in person there. All I got where NO's. I asked to speak with a manager/team leader, I was told they where only available via email. No name could be provided. What a way to make me feel real safe at this point. I sent two emails regarding my problem, and suggestions. Still haven't received a response to them. The customer service provided was a absolutely failure. No integrity, or initiative was shown to help with problem. I am a very active member in my Local sneaker groups in the Bay Area. I will definitely advise everyone to stay away from this establishment. Let's see if I can get a manager to respond here?? I got selected for the New Balance x Bait shoes, I got the white and gold version. But come on, you supposed to sell collectibles and whatnot; didn't even double box my shoes. I know it's just the box but damn imagine if the shoes got damaged. Plenty of shoe collectors out there that value the original box. My package came 1.5 weeks late (postal service troubles) and it was shipped in a USPS plastic bag. I paid $12 in shipping and handling and they couldn't put it into a second box? You can get free boxes from USPS and make a box to ship it in. Can't imagine what they ship their figurines in or anything else. As soon as I saw it I knew the box was broken. I've been buying gear my myself and my boy at Bait - Diamond Bar for almost half a year now. Being a nearby resident of the area, it's nice to know I do not have to drive to Los Angeles because in addition to their their own house brand, they carry many of the popular brands you'll find within LA's trendy and ganja smoke filled urban shops on "Fairfax." Having a teenage son who is into urban gear, I approve of the Bait brand for him. I like it because the brand is "clean," has an "urban" vibe to it, and basically, is different! They have great collaboration projects with Bruce Lee, Street Fighter, Domo, Spongebob, Mitchell & Ness, Asics and others. Unlike the popular LA (Diamond Supply, The Hundreds, OF, etc) and SF (Huf) brands, I have yet to see marijuana leafs and/or references to marijuana or drug/drug use on their house Bait brand. Thus, I approve for my teenage son who always want something Huf and I have to say; "NO!" because there is almost always a pot leaf showing up somewhere where he does not notice it. I am starting to say; "NO!" much more to Diamond Supply too for the same reason. Thank you Bait for keeping your brand "clean." Pricing for their house Bait brand won't break the bank either with an average t-shirt costing $20-25 (not $50-60+). I can buy my son 3+ Bait items for the cost of one of the other popular brands and his gear is just as fresh if not better; especially for his age. Now, if into Diamond Supply, Huf, The Hundreds, etc... guess what? Bait carries those too as well as many other popular and up and coming urban brands! So, no need to roll down the 60 or 10 to LA if a resident of the area or of the Inland Empire. I'm not knocking those brands (I own a few myself), but for me as a parent, I just feel they are NOT appropriate gear for teenagers. It's one thing to have marijuana leafs on your gear if an adult, but not for a child; and for the record, I do support the legalization of the plant, but in a RESPONSIBLE manner which I feel many of those brands just are not doing today (example, going to The Hundreds on Fairfax with my teenage son last January where the entire store reeked of marijuana - OK for me, NOT OK for my underage son). The store itself has a nice spacious clean floor plan with everything on display in an organized fashion. Upstairs is more like a gallery (think sneaker gallery) and currently displays Adidas sneakers. They carry many limited edition sneaks from Asics, Sacouny, New Balance and Adidas with some being Bait collaborations. I also noticed Vans on the shelf. Nike has been recently added and being my favorite sneaker brand, I hope they get the kind of reputation to carry more limited edition Nikes that only boutique sneaker shops get and maybe do a collaboration. In addition to all the great gear and sneaks, Bait has a crazy amount of collectibles. Tons of figurines that I would I see in a toy collectible shop. If into collecting those things, you'll be in heaven at Bait. Lastly, customer service is impeccable and big ups for the recent 2014 Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale where they put ALL their Bait brand items at 50% off and everything else 30% off. Needless to say, I went to town this holiday season with Bait. Can't go wrong with $10.00 Bait tees!
