I love coming here even in the winter months. When I first came here in the summer I decided to download the app and become a member. That was the best idea because they reward you with a BOGO Sno ANY SIZE!! Then you'll get random free ones every now and then. I'm a regular here so I always love to try their new Sno creations or just make my own. I highly recommend trying this place out. Enjoy my pics:)

Went to the store at 8:20PM on January 21, 2021. The store was closed due to incremental weather. Now it wasn't snowing, roads aren't iced, but yes it was 33% degrees outside but my family and I were craving Bahama Buck's. Guess they just wanted to close early. So, we ended up going to Sonic down the street. So disappointing.

It's a sno cone...do I really need to say more? Wait isn't too bad inside, clean, staff is always nice and patient. Ask for a punch card if you go regularly, staff doesn't usually ask if you want one.

Sno is open even during the COVID crisis. Line is a little long but I appreciate how the workers are wearing face masks and hand gloves. Their system is great at trying to eliminate the long line and get your fresh sno out as soon as possible. #eatyellowsno

Date night tonight with the hubs! This place was super poppin when we got there at 7. The line was even out the door and all the tables were occupied. The cashier was very friendly and I noticed that they have more flavors here then the Bahama Bucks back in Arizona. A lot more of the Hispanic toppings per say, yum. I always get the "baby" size because even that is too much for me and I tend to never finish it. All in all great tasting shaved ice! The tables were a little on the dirty and sticky side but understandable since people walked in in huge crowds and all the employees were busy.

This spot is a favorite of ours. I'm the plain Jane type coconut and pineapple that's all I get. My kiddo always tries something new. I pulled up and I always look forward to the cheerful customer service the Hiiiii from the drive thru asking for my order. I think he was having a bad day bcz his voice made it sound like he was having a root canal with no meds. He sounded upset and bothered. That's ok we've all had our days right? Omg I saw something that took me back to riding my bike and chasing the ice cream truck Bomb Pop sno?! Yes please! I couldn't believe it it's red white and blue and it had a like bomb pop in it. Kiddo had to have it. I got a little taste and it was just like the original. Kiddo got pineapple with ice cream added that was so good. Definitely our sweet tooth nice refreshing stop

Alright alright alright alright alright, it's that good! You're not going to find better shaved ice in El Paso...or Texas for that matter. It's a franchise, but I love it! Don't judge me. I got the 411 on BB from Xoe because you know Yelpers have the best insider information. My only regret is how long it took me to try this place. You want shaved ice from a stand in a parking lot? HAAAA, I scoff at you. You must not know any better. Bahama Buck's is where you need to go. Shaved ice...more like shaved heaven. I secretly think it not ice, but ice cream...those tricksters. Either way it is pure deliciousness. The smoothies are pretty much bombdotcom too. So why a 4 star? Well mostly it pains my heart to give any kind of chain more than a 3 star, but also the decoration is completely cheesy and cheap. I don't know what I was expecting, but it just feels overdone...but who cares because the shaved ice is the BEST!

Love love love this place! The snow cones are amazing, smooth and so flavorful! The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is fun and tropical! Great place to bring the kids in the summer as a treat and a great way to cool off! Visit them in the winter and get extra punches on your punch card so you can redeem them for another cone next time!

Summer Delight at its finest. Their shaved ice are full of flavor and hot days in the southwest, it comes in handy.

My family and i love the products but recently the staff is rude and seem to not like there job. We give three stars because the staff could be better to complement the product!

I heard about this place through Groupon, and decided to give it a taste. I'm not a big fan of sweets. It's a rare occasion to see me eating an ice cream. My daughter's school sold "snow cones" every Friday as a fundraising ploy, and I forced myself to scarf one down every week in the name of school spirit. Our first trip to Bahama Buck's, we were greeted by Rudy, who happily made recommendations for each member of my family. I got the half-Jamaican Punch/half-Juicy Fruit with cream... Let me tell you, I felt like I just woke up from the Matrix. What the heck were those frozen "treats" I had eaten before? This place has completely revamped my frozen dessert taste profile! They have a military discount, plus frequent buyer "punch cards" so you can earn free treats. As of today, there is still the Groupon offer, so I bought as many as I could. So glad I live close to this place.

Jamaican punch with cream. My favorite!

Bahama Buck's is a staple in my diet. I love this place so so so much, it's crazy. Who'da thought that snow cones would go well with cream? Innovators. That's who. Yeah, snow. With cream. My all time favorite has to be the jamaican punch bahama rama mamma style (cream AND some blue bell vanilla ice cream deliciousness). They sell yummy smoothies, an assortment of flavored coffee, frozen lemonades, soft drinks with flavorings, paradise fruit (my personal favorite is the strawberries and bananas with ice cream, vanilla cream, and strawberry sauce), and snow balls (yes, I said snow balls. You can buy a pack of them anytime throughout the year and have your very own snow ball fight even though you're in El Paso!) The only drawback of this location is that the store can get pretty dirty because of how busy it gets. During the week around mid day it's not too busy, but Sundays and I suspect Saturdays are super busy. The line moves at an average rate, but it's so worth it at the end. Sometimes they are so busy that they skimp you on the flavoring and cream which sucks, but you can always ask for them to give you more syrup if it's too icy for your taste.

(Late review. Was there last Saturday) I had been wanting to try this place for a while and was not disappointed as it lived up and exceeded my expectations. They have TONS of shaved ice flavors. I got a Mango Chili Chamoy regular shaved ice and my partner got the Hurricane Colada flavor with cream. I love how, unlike other shaved ice places, they made sure to pack them with extra cream/chamoy inside the cup, not just on the top. They do not skimp on the flavor syrup either. Very fast service and atmosphere. Will definitely return.

Usually by Friday, I only had $3 or $4 left. So instead of getting my grease fix, I'd go in search of an ice cream truck. Ice cream trucks in El Paso are different than ice cream trucks in any other city because of what they carry. Nachos, Hot Cheetos and cheese, Mangonadas, Mexican candies, and things that kind of resemble ice cream in taste, but not really (i.e. Tweety Bird ice cream). The Seven is what happens when someone turns an EP ice cream truck into a real business. You can seriously walk in with a few bucks and leave full off a bunch of munchies. Hot Cheetos with cheese, man! And it's only a couple of dollars here...yes, please. I've tried three different smoothies/milkshakes here. Not a fan of the smoothies with milk, but they'll substitute it for orange juice. For the most part, the smoothies are made with fresh fruit which I love (because who wants artificial flavoring)...but the coconut is not among the fresh fruit. I ordered a smoothie with coconut and while sipping a rather lumpy smoothie, found out quickly that they use shredded coconut. Pass. But other than that, my smoothie experiences at The Seven have been pleasant. Great if you're looking for a quick snack and drink!

They said, we can't do 12 (I figured as much) and our new hires generally start "low". During the hiring process, I was NOT told the actual starting pay was $8/hour during a probation period. (I assumed "low" meant the $10 on the 10 to 14 range I saw on the posted job listing. Shame on me for not realizing the use of logic was optional ). That only came up after I had already accepted the job and started onboarding. It was actually my coworkers that said the new hires started $8 an hour. That's when I asked about pay clarification. "$8" never came up during the interview. When I brought it up, it was THEN confirmed that all new hires start at $8/hour for a few weeks and can get a raise after that. I was also told tips factor into "effective hourly pay," but tips aren't guaranteed and fluctuate too much to realistically count on when you're trying to budget your life. Telling me that I "technically" make $10 an hour with tips is BS. I "technically" have bills to pay and I can't budget my finances based on a technicality. **And if any of you reading this are teenagers looking to get a job here, she specifically told me she doesn't like hiring teenagers because they're unreliable. Yet when I approached her with a very professional message regarding my pay concerns she ghosted me for 3 days, and counting. Who's acting like a teenager now? (No offense to any of you, just running with what she said). I'm not mad about there being a probation period or a starting rate. I'm frustrated that the actual starting pay wasn't clearly communicated upfront compared to the advertised range. I took the job based on that posted range, and the reality didn't match what was presented when I applied. If the 10 to $14 an hour range doesn't match the pay in El Paso then that needs to be the very first thing you bring up during the interview. She said that that posting was from corporate and doesn't reflect the local pay. Maybe lead with that next time. If you just need a few extra bucks on the side, or you're just starting out with your first job, then as Krusty the Clown says, "It's not just good, it's good enough."
