There are times when I lower the score of a review because of the service that I receive when I go to a place. However, this is not one of those places... The workers behind the counter seemed pleased that people were stopping by (Being a slow Tuesday, I would understand if they couldn't be bothered). They took the time to explain what was on the menu, and how to order my sundae. I did feel like I was at a bougie restaurant when he kept complementing my choices... I'll have a beer bag of barbecue honey chips. "Excellent choice sir, excellent". Made me smile. I got a waffle sundae to celebrate National Waffle Day. Now I can usually eat a lot, but the whole dang thing was too darn much. With ice cream whipped cream Nutella and Reese's pieces, it was quite filling. If I lived on the Westside I would've taken the other half home, but I don't think it would've lasted to the Northeast. So I didn't want any good gordo would do and finished it there. I had my dessert as my dinner. If you happen to be in the mall, please stop by. Support local and tip well.

I know i know...i came here and didnt fet a waffle anything and right iff the bat i feel that was my biggest mistake. They all looked so good! But i was honestly just craving a shaved ice and well i didnt want to spoil my appetite that bad bybgetting something else. One thing i can say is that service was super awesome, guy was really nice and he whipped up my raspa in no time. I got a cherry kola with pineapple and it was delish. Im only giving it four stars since i havent tried the food but once i do im sure itll get all 5! Definitely a place to hit up any weekend

This review is for the mobile "Blue Collar Shaved Ice" Mobile Truck. I experienced when parked by Chuck Heinrich park with its big balloon and music. Our family enjoys supporting local businesses so there we went to check out what they were all about. Got shaved Ice and a Waffle with Ice Cream. Neither of then were bad choices. It had ben years since I had shaved ice and I was surprised how thin it truly was, LOVED IT!! My kids enjoyed the Waffle with Ice Cream. Does take them a bit to serve but nothing major. Huge variety of flavors to choose from for the shaved Ice. They have a reward card which after stamped 6 times you get a free Small or Medium Item of your choice. Positive Vibes! Wish I could find out when they are coming back to this location.

First of all, MAHALO for extending this event!! This place is super cool!! It has that awesome island tiki vibe, and its menu is fantastic!!! Jacob helped me, and his customer service was excellent!!! The concept is rad...whoever thought of waffle sundae and shaved ice in one spot. You can't go wrong here!!! There are sweet and savory options to satisfy any cravings!! I got the chicken and waffle, and it was magnifico Please give them a try, and you won't be disappointed!! In the words of the terminator, "I'll be back!"

We tried samples of the Polar Ice, Mango, Strawberry and Blue Raspberry. They were super good, and I was even inclined to order a scoop of the strawberry and of the blue raspberry. The owners were super nice and I will definitely return in the future to try their other menu items!

Arrived at 3:15. No one was there, just a sign saying "Out for delivery, be back soon". waited 50 minutes, no one ever came. Called and text number on sign, no response. Granddaughter was disappointed!

I saw the chicken and waffles on the truck and was curious. So I tried the chicken and waffles on a stick - let me say it was phenomenal. The waffles and chicken was warm and the syrup was a great meal to hold me over during lunch. There are several different offerings and the shaved ice is sold during warmer months. I look forward to trying this food truck out again. It is a must have in El Paso and surrounding areas.

I recently had a chance to try Blue Collar at the Downtown Farmers Market. It was a great experience! The owner was very friendly and pleasant to be around. I told him I wasn't familiar with his business. He kindly explained what was offered. I had half a waffle with some caramel sauce with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The snack was yummy! The business owner really knows how to treat customers. I paid $6 total. The waffle snack was $4, a bottle of water was $1 and a small tip $1. Blue Collar also offers snow cones, chips and other snacks. P.S. I should've tipped more! I'll do it next time I hit up Blue Collar. The owner said they go all over town. Be sure and follow them on social media for their menu and locations. A+ experience!

*Drinking game: Drink every time you read the words "fish and chips"…read more If you know nothing else about me, you should know this...I am 80% comprised of fish and chips. Fish and chips may be my fave thing to eat in the whole entire world and that's not an exaggeration...you can take that to the bank. Seriously, if a place serves up fish and chips, I'm ordering it. Doesn't matter if they're ridiculously fancy and fish and chips is only on their menu as a joke, I'm ordering it and I won't leave until they deliver (not that I've ever seen a place have joke items on a menu...I'm just saying if someone wanted to mess with my emotions that's the way to do it and that's how serious I take my fish and chips). The only thing I've ever had at The Reef Mobile Kitchen is the fish and chips. There's a chance this isn't always on the menu and if it's not, I'm not going. Although I highly doubt fish and chips aren't always on the menu. If you want to know where they're at check out their Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/reeftruck), but it's almost always a safe bet that they'll be at Foodville. So since it's the only thing I can speak on. Scratch that. Write on. Let's delve into the fish and chips. Plump pieces of white fish, I'm guessing cod (much like my beer identifying abilities, my fish identifying abilities are almost nonexistent). Crisp, batter on the outside served along side large fries, a couple of lemon wedges, and tarter sauce. It's all really good and done in-house! You will not regret this. And the truck is easy to spot. Big blue. That's all you need to know. Check it out and definitely check out Isaac M's review for a deets on the Mojo Quesadilla that sounds ridiculously amazing. May have to order that along side some fish and chips next time. And another plus is since it's a food truck you know you're getting a meal under $10.

I went to the food truck rally off 1071 Country Club they're open from 4-midnight. My normal bbq trucks weren't there so I thought to try something new and the one with the longest line was Placeres Culposos. I asked them what their specialties were and they said birria quesadillas and the Alambre tacos. I ordered one birria taco to try since I was running errands and I tried it in the car. The Alambre would keep better so I ordered that for hubby. Especially since the description of the ingredients are his favorites: bacon, ham, steak, bell peppers, onions, and melted cheese. It tasted like an elevated.Philly cheese steak in taco form! I also saw them making some beef flautas and should've ordered it since it was a good deal $6 for 5. They also have drinks, I asked and they explained what they were, and I got the melon and de la Rosa (peanut?) ones. Cold and not too sweet, I liked them more than my diet would like , I'll have to try the Horchata next time. They're a sweet nice couple turning out some really good food...check them and the other food trucks out. I'm glad I tried something new tonight, and made hubby happy.

I ordered the quesabirria tacos for myself. They were super delicious! They had plenty of meat and melted Muenster cheese in them. I LOVE MUENSTER CHEESE! It's the absolute best! It's one of my favorite things in this life! Anyway...The tacos were crispy and crunchy...just the way I like them. The consume (taco dip) was also really tasty and flavorful. You get 4 birria tacos for $10. I believe they used beef rather than goat or lamb meat. The salsas were spicy and excellent tasting as well. I'd recommend being patient with them because the tacos are made to order. I waited around 15 to 20 minutes. It was totally worth it! Sorry no pics, I ate the tacos way too fast! Lol. I saved one for Chico (my dog) and he devoured it within seconds. I also hear that the alambre (steak with melted cheese, bell peppers, onions) are also very good. They offer a variety of other tacos. So far I've only tried the birria and I was really impressed with them. I also bought a limonada agua fresca. It was perfect as well. They serve it in a large Mason jar and it's $5. The limonada wasn't too sweet or sour, it was just right. I really like the jar it's served in. I can use it for something else at home. The service was also good. I will be back for more quesabirria tacos and lemonade soon.

For almost $10, I think you can give a little more food IMHO like rice and beans. I think you can get four tacos for around $5.00 in town. Now, in their defense, all tacos plates come with five...though they are somewhat on a small side...about 3 1/4 in. in diameter. I opted for al pastor, and I was not disappointed. Flavor was very good, and fresh condiments added refreshing taste to it to cut down on some greasiness. Guacamole sauce was a bit runny, but it did add some freshness. You'd better be careful with salsa...it's very hot (at least to me). Customer service is very good. A very pleasant lady takes orders and process payments.
