Wow. I've never had rolled ice cream before so I already didn't know what to expect. This absolutely crushed all my expectations. It was amazing! The lobby could use a small upkeep, but other than that I have no complaints.
The ice cream was delicious and the customer service was on point. This is some of the best ice cream I have ever had, hands down. This is a cute little ice cream shop located off Dyer street. The decor is bright and plenty of pictures displaying their ice cream and different drinks. The menu has a variety of unique flavors. I opted for the "I love Oreos" and was very pleased. I enjoyed the texture of the rolled up ice cream and the added Oreos, whipped cream, and frosted cover sticks. It worked well together. I look forward to exploring more of their menu.
Aurora Rolling Ice Cream is so fun! The shop itself is very small, but the menu is large! Kids can easily watch them roll their ice cream and it is an exciting experience to see! The customer service was wonderful! They were very friendly and held honest and fun conversation with customers while creating their combinations. The horchata iced latte is seasonal, but it is a must! I also love that their drinks come in glass bottles. Overall, Aurora is a hidden gem that the customer service alone will make you want to come back to. The extensive menu may also persuade you! ;)
Aurora Rolling Ice Cream is absolutely Wonderful! Here are the facts: 1. It's entertaining to see them prepare your ice cream. 2. Ice cream taste is just right not too sweet. 3. Unlike any other ice cream in the area. 4. The waffle is delicious, soft, warm, tastes like orange zest. 5. Beautiful Ice Cream shop 6. Ice cream totally worth the price. Possible Cons. 1. Location.
The attendant was wonderfully kind and gave us lots of attention when we came in from over 100 degree heat! The ice cream was very delicious and the shop itself was a nice spot to relax from the heat in with cute modern decorations and a clean feel!
never having rolled ice cream before i was very excited and the customer service was top tier! even though my photo is after we had it for a bit because we're taking some to a friend (so it's melted) it is so so good! 10/10 service from the little white girl who complimented my shirt and the other guy who was working hard back there! greeted and said goodbye to everybody. good work. thanks so much guys!
It's actually tasted better than it looked. Enough said! Great stop for my first time in El Paso.
Stopped in unexpectedly. Regardless of winter temperatures, it's always a good time for ice cream. The place is open and airy. We ordered a Mangoneada to share and it was yummy! I need to remember to ask if they have a smaller, kid size. The wait was not too long, especially considering there was only one person doing it all. She was great, polite and courteous. We enjoyed it so much that we will stop by in two weeks, with more people to try more varieties!
I had the Taro ice cream today with fresh strawberries, blueberries & almonds It was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS
Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for an after lunch treat. We were greeted immediately and extended patience as the kids went through all the flavor and topping possibilities. We ended up with the Berrylicious (my favorite of the bunch), the Rosé Amor, and Oreo ice cream with almonds. Everything was served with care and the servings were plentiful. The service was knowledgeable and friendly. We sat and enjoyed the ice cream inside as it wasn't busy at all, so there was room to spread out a bit. The bathroom wasn't super clean and their couches need an update or some cars, but otherwise I was happy with this visit.
I was browsing this fair website, and came across Aurora, and was excited to find a new place in Northeast. Turns out "new" is over a year old! I'm glad we found them, though, and they were doing good business, too, which makes me happy in these times. I have tried another rolled ice cream place in town (though this one is "rolling" ice cream), and this is far superior. The visual element is still there, but flavor here was amazing. I should have tried mine in the opposite order, but I tried the sweeter one first. The less sweet one, the rosé, was vanilla base, chocolate, Graham crackers and teddy grahams with freshly roasted marshmallows, straight down to being torched in front of us! S'mores-y deliciousness! The special for September was mazapan. Mazapan crumbles, sweetened condensed milk and pecans! (Would've preferred peanuts, but that's a minor gripe). This was a decadent and fun way to eat one of my favorite Mexican candies. There were a few other interesting ones on the menu. You can build your own, you can even put it on a Thai (bubble) waffle. But me eyes went right to "Late for Class": cereal milk base, strawberries and cornflakes. I need this soon!
Nice little ice cream shop, in a small shopping area. Can make own or decide with combinations.
This was my first time trying rolled ice cream, and it did not disappoint! The price is fair and the flavor was great. My only critique would be that I came in with my kids and they had music playing with vulgar language which seems to be a common thing in El Paso. I think it's unprofessional for a family style business. Especially when the boys working were so polite and friendly

Found this little gem via Yelp. Amazingly good ice cream and excellent, friendly service. It's in a tiny shopping center. The inside is fun with chalkboard menus and kids crayon drawings on the wall. Highly recommended!! read more
This is a cute little place with a few seats and a nice menu of choices. You can choose to create your own ice cream or pick from some already put together combinations. The lady who took our order was very friendly and explained the process very well. I tried the pina colada. It was delicious but I couldn't finish it as it was just to hard. However it was a dairy free option and the others appeared to be much creamier. Everyone really enjoyed the ice cream and our grandson lived watching the entire process. Would be back if in the area again. Highly recommend! read more

My first time trying rolled ice cream! They have a decent sized menu. You can try one of their signature options or create your own by choosing an ice cream flavor, a mix-in, and any toppings you like. I had cereal milk ice cream mixed with Oreos and it was delicious. The employee working was really friendly and made sure everything was how we wanted it, even double checking if we wanted to sub anything or add anything. You can watch them make your ice cream and it's a really cool process. The location and shop are fairly unassuming, but it was a great experience and so yummy! read more

Delicious ice cream served in a cute little place. The atmosphere was nice due to the music and friendly staff. I had the "fom" - flavor of the month, which was pumpkin spice with graham crackers & whipped cream. It tasted like pumpkin pie and was a perfect November treat. read more
This place is really good. It's nice to have something different in the NE! The staff who works there are very friendly and the place is really clean. Prices are more affordable that I thought they'd be. They even offer a military and senior discount. Toppings are unlimited and you can mix and match. I got the "late for class" with fruity pebbles and my husband got "rose vanilla". He said the burnt marshmallows is what made it! Will definitely return. read more

Went to try this place out to get my Thailand fix here in El Paso - great selection - good rolls. My only issue is the the service is super slow! We went in and ordered and rather than making our two cups and then taking the next few orders the cashier took all 4 of the next orders - no biggie if they knew what they wanted.... had never been in and were scanning the menu. My thought would be start on ours and let them decide what they want-it would definitely improve the experience! read more
