My mom and I stopped by for some ice cream. We remember when the rolled ice cream took the world by storm, but neither of us had yet to try it. We ordered the mango sticky rice cup. The person who took our order was pleasant. There were two of them working and one of them was clearly more experienced than the other - which is fine. However, the length of time it took for them to get us the order was a bit ridiculous. The actual ice cream was great. They used real fruit pieces which was a definite plus. Yummy! My berry berry ice cream was very good. There were fresh blueberries and raspberries. The ice cream was rolled sheets and looked like rolled egg rolls standing up vertically in a cup. It was an interesting presentation and delicious. Service was good and the young man was friendly and patient with my questions. Stopped in for the first and maybe last time. Either the concept or the service needs a major overhaul. We waited 15 minutes for ice cream with no one in front of us. My girlfriend got her ice cream first and then they started my order. I get that they are freezing it to order on a cold stone but this was ridiculous. Currently, there are more than ten people waiting while two young servers barely make one dish every five minutes. I'm sorry but go elsewhere. read more

I am always for supporting small local businesses, however when you receive such awful service and called several times , leaving messages to talk to the so called owner whom is never there , without any response , it's barely a star.. I came to the store at 9:40 and was told by a worker ( no name tag) n refused to give out name, she stated that they will no longer be taking orders, she didn't even know what we wanted to order, it was for just one person .. If there is such a rule, why isn't it posted for customers to see that there is a cut off? she was very rude, no customer service what's so ever, n I will gladly take my money else where, where service is willing to accept and accommodate their customers .. I have visited this place about 3-4 times and am finally giving my review. The rolled ice cream is subpar for the most part, but the banana flavor is pretty decent, which is the only exception out of the 6-7 flavors I have tried. However, I would highly recommend staying away from the boba as it is absolutely garbage. Overall, I would only go to this place if other options are closed. The inside can be noisy due to the process of making the rolled ice cream being slow and loud, but they do have a few outdoor tables that can be used to avoid the noise. read more

This is one place you need to try no matter if it's hot or cold outside. Ice cream is great but this store makes ice cream taste even better. For my second visit, I tried the cookies and cream icea cream topped with cookie crisp cereal, and chocolate fudge. Make sure you watch how the ice cream is rolled. It is such an amazing site to see. The first time here I didn't pay attention but it is an interesting site to see. As for the bathroom, you can tell the owner really cares. The bathroom was immaculate and very very clean. Most bathrooms can't compare to this one. The bathroom is just as clean as the store itself. If you haven't tried this place you should. This place is great to eat for dessert or for any reason at all. You should stop by and try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed. The store also has Boba drinks in a variety of flavors. Man! This place is amazing! I freaking love their quality of rolled ice cream and options of flavors! I have tried their cookie butter, thai tea, and extreme cookie flavors. I would make adjustments to some of their toppings and addins and they would sub a different option with no problem or extra charge. Like, for the thai tea one, i didnt want to have lychee added into the ice cream or as a topping, and instead i asked for wafer cookies which they happily made for me. And the wait has never been long for me ever, even with a line. Last time i went this week, it was more packed since i think people are discovering this awesome place. But the longest i waited was just shy of 10 mins. Better than Farenheit 32's hour and a half wait!! Think my only problem is how kinda pricey their ice cream can be. 7 bucks seems a bit much just for ice cream but i imagine the experience and process of rolling out the ice cream fresh is demanding. We heard about this place and decided to give it a try. Upon entering, the inside is decorated so lovely with the steel tables that are finely polished with circular designs, the mirror sconces holding samples of their ice cream bowls that are also so sweetly decorated. We watched them making a couple orders to understand what we were getting. They pour the cream on a refrigerated steel surface along with whatever ingredients are in your ice cream, stir & chop it up. As the cream hardens, they use a spatula and continually flatten the ice cream out into a very thin layer. They scrape sections of the ice cream into several rolls, place them in a bowl and add additional toppings. We ordered S'Mores and it was topped with a section of a chocolate bar, toasted marshmallow with a chocolate covered biscuit stuck into the marshmallow and topped with chocolate syrup. The banana ice cream tasted great with the fresh bananas, best banana ice cream we've eaten. The Mango Sticky Rice had a scoop of sticky rice, coconut cream and mango on top. There is no air in this ice cream, it has a wonderful texture and flavor. This is how ice cream should be! Next time, I'd let it melt a bit before gobbling it up while the ice cream is still hard. Such a great concept to bring here to El Paso! I highly recommend the ice cream here. The staff is great. The owner explained the various options to us and was very patient with me asking so many questions. read more

Let's start with the positives, the ice cream was delicious and it was really fun to watch the process. There was no line, which sometimes is questionable but great for us in this case! I had the cookie butter option and it was delicious but EXTREMELY sweet, it came with 2 biscoff cookies and I couldn't eat it all. My sister picked the matcha mania and we were surprised by how good it was. It wasn't too sweet and had a refreshing kind of taste. They were out of mochi but replaced it with strawberries and honestly the strawberries is what made it! Both turned out beautifully! The staff were very nice in explaining what some of the options were. Now for the negatives, I always hate to be the bearer of bad news but I was disappointed in how when my ice cream was being prepared I could see the staff member's braided bracelet being drug through my ice cream as she was preparing it. I didn't say anything and in hindsight should have pointed it out and requested a new ice cream. Being that I didn't want to have any confrontation and it was clearly not on purpose I took my ice cream and tried to put it out of my mind. Honestly it's gross and I regret still eating the ice cream (oh well, here I am to live another day despite it all). Second, they were out of the mango sticky rice option which I was extremely interested in and was hoping to try. Their flavors are so creative and tasty. The presentation is precise and beautiful. My kids enjoy watching the staff make the ice cream. There's indoor and outdoor seating with tables & chairs, or couches. Indoors can get pretty noisy when it's busy, with the production of the ice cream. The staff is really friendly and happy. A recent addition to the menu are boba drinks, with perfectly cooked boba. The Vietnamese coffee with boba was on point! It's definitely a great place to get delicious, unique ice cream. read more

Of all the Thai rolled ice cream places I have been to, I would definitely rank this place as one of my Top 3! They offered such an array of Asian flavors such as taro, red bean, Thai tea, and matcha, but also had flavors true to El Paso such as mangonado and horchata. I love that they offer dairy alternatives for those of us who can't consume the sweet cream base! My only wish is that they allowed for more custom toppings! read more

Unique ice cream. They create the ice cream on a really cold metal plate. Then scrape it off in roll up strips. We had the sticky rice and mango which was very refreshing. The only negative about the place is that the process is very noisy as they create the ice cream as the metal spatula is used to mix the ingredients on a metal plate. We got the fruity pebbles and mango with sticky rice. OMG, SOOOOO YUMMY! Well worth the price! I do have one suggestion - please cook the rice for the sticky rice! The flavors were all there, tasted amazing, however the rice was hard and difficult to chew...like it was cooked 1/4 through. I thought it was odd; not sure if comes from a package or made on-site but definitely needs to be soft and chewy like sticky rice is suppose to be. The audacity and disrespect from the apparently manager, Angel is outrageous. I understand sometimes machinery do not work properly, but after fixing the cold table, this so called manager had 11 people waiting on their items because he was talking to his two female friends who had not ordered anything whatsoever. Because of the separation window, I approached his coworker who was making drinks and asked if he could approach the guy making the ice cream and ask him to not waste time speaking to his friends as we had been waiting for our order for more than 37 minutes. I specifically said, I don't want to make a big deal, but we've been waiting for a quite a while and he had another 5 people to serve after our group. The employee making the drink then approached him and asked him to speed up the process and stop talking to those girls. a second later, I am stared down by this employee that later identified as the manager. When we received our order, I approached for napkins and the first thing that came out of his mouth was "are we good, what's good? I am the manager here" in an aggressive manner while he stared me down. I quickly advised him we had been waiting for a while it was rude to have everyone waiting for our orders while he was not focusing as he was talking to his friends, who in fact did not order anything in the first place. He continued to be rude and aggressive as he stated he was "moving his hands and talking at the same time" to the girls. Complete disregard for the customers time, respect and service. I said, I didn't want to make a big deal which is why I approached the other employee who was by far more respectful than this so called "manager-angel". i repeated it was rude for him no to prioritize the job over his visiting friends. He then repeatedly started to say Bye Thank you, Bye Thank you. Simply better training and supervision is required at this place. it Was my first and last time I visit this place. This place is amazing greeted as I walked in offered a menu and given a brief description of what they offer. I had the mango sticky rice with mango base ice cream Heaven!!!. The only reason for the 4 stars is because (like the other reviews said) it gets pretty nosy in there.
