Really amazing selection, and they give you tons of lox for three dollars extra. I am lox obsessed so this is great for me. I have only tried their jalapeno cream cheese but their bagels are amazing with this combination and is the perfect meal/snack/sandwich. This store was pure shit, terrible customer service from the fat guy with the Yankee hat. First I decided to call this store to place an order for a pickup because I don't have time to wait on line I work in the area. so this guy picks up the phone takes my order for a roast beef hero and tells me he'll have it ready for me I walk in 20 minutes later they didn't make anything they didn't even cut open the hero the guy apologizes and tells me they don't do phone orders with a nasty attitude meanwhile he never mentioned that to me on the phone, anyway I had To wait an extra 10 minutes and when I got my food it tasted like pure shit I could have made a better sandwich high on crack and they charged me $8.75 which is ridiculous I'm never going there again and I also saw roaches on the tables one time before gross never again. read more

originally from li, and i've never found a bagel place in the city that lives up to what i grew up with in the suburbs (the one thing that long island can actually do right!) my biggest issue with bagels in nyc? no one does an egg everything (which, being both an egg bagel and an everything bagel is clearly the king of all bagels). but bagelsmith does, as well as an egg poppy, egg sesame, etc. and they're some of the best bagels i've ever had, even if you go at 2 in the morning. they also have every possible cream cheese you could ever want. i've never tried the lox or anything, but to be honest, a good egg everything bagel with cream cheese is all i ever really want in this world anyway. bless you, bagelsmith. read more

I ordered from here on seamless at 11:53 am and did not receive my order until 2:30 pm. I called three times because I needed to leave my apartment and couldn't wait over two hours for my food. The people I spoke to told me different stories each time I called on why I didn't get my food and then told me the delivery guy tried buzzing me and calling me but that I didn't answer - meanwhile no one buzzed and I've had my phone on me this entire time. Hmm sounds like someone wasn't telling the truth. Anyways definitely don't order online here because they don't have anything organized and then they blame the customer for their issues! I was happy with my bagel and I went in the morning so no stale bagels another reviewer mentioned. The pricing is very good at a buck for plain bagels and around 4 bucks for bagels with multiple toppings. There was a queue and it's unlikely that you will be able to get a seat as there are just 4 and it's mainly a takeaway place. Best Bagels in Williamsburg, I had a bagel with cream cheese and Lox , I will def come back again

I'm a local who's lived in the neighborhood 20+ years and I can say that this place has pretty good bagels. I'm giving them two stars because the price of the bagel and serving sizes. Whoever rated this place as inexpensive needs to try other places as this store just charged me 12+ DOLLARS for a bagel with cream cheese and double bacon with a coffee. The whole reason I got double bacon was because it seemed non existent when I ordered it regularly. Half the time it WAS non existent, as they would charge you for bagel add ons and forget to put them in. I would come here a lot because its the only bagel place around but I think its time to take my business elsewhere. Lucky for these guys The Bagel Store moved further down the road. Bedford Ave. The breakfast at this place is good (nothing amazing) but the wait on Saturday and Sunday prohibits me from even attempting EVER again to go inside and order. Today, I spent 20 minutes inside to get a bagel, coffee, orange juice (Tropicana) and a muffin!!! The actual food gets prepared fast, it's the cashier at the front that needs fixing. Sooooooooooooooo slow and confusing!! GET ANOTHER CASHIER ON THE WEEKENDS!! I am sure you can afford him/her!!! When I told the cashier today that I was late for work, after being in there for 20 minutes, she turned around and she told me " We all are" WOW!!! i have been going here for a while the best bagel and coffee in the area. staff is pleasant however looks like they are short staffed work very hard always treat customers with a smile extremely friendly food is always fresh I have always been treated with respect. the one kid Joshua looks like he try's and help everyone at every position every time or almost everytime i go there he's doing something different but always smiling, Joshua and a couple of of the other staff members there are very pleasant. energetic and friendly I wish that every time me or my husband of family member go there we will continue yo see that kind of attitude from the staff si can't they are all nice and want to continue and see that kind of attitude and energy they express whenever anyone walks through those doors I can't say same for whole staff tho some definitely need a lesson on customer service. I just ordered from this place this morning on seamless. I got an everything bagel with egg and cheese and chocolate chip pancakes. The bagel was one of the least appetizing bagels I've ever had in Brooklyn, especially in this neighborhood (for example, Peter Pan and Frankel's are so much better it's beyond comparison). This bagel was dense and the flavor just wasn't right, it arrived cold and untoasted (I ordered toasted), and the cheese and egg in the middle were just really cold, sad, and gross. The chocolate chip pancakes must have been made by someone who has never cooked in their life. They had raw batter in the middle and barely any chocolate chips. Not to mention, this order took an hour and a half to deliver. On a Wednesday morning. I will never be ordering from here again. P.S. I love how the owner takes the time to personally respond to each negative comment here and acts surprised each time at how poor the quality of their food is, telling every single person that their bad experience must have been a one-off. Pfffff. Try putting some of that energy into actually making better bagels and training better staff. Also, do yourself and your business a favor and take it off seamless. read more
