Crazy Turkey Dry onion bagel/strawberry cream cheese
Tara F.

This place is located in a plaza so there's plenty of parking you order at the counter and they have plenty of freshly baked bagels that are massive. They also have flavored cream cheese is available and they also have specialty sandwiches to choose from.. I ordered their crazy turkey on a dry onion bagel with strawberry cream cheese and this was phenomenal. I loved how the strawberry cream cheese was fresh. I like my bagel served open face. It's not so hard on my jaw and this was perfect. I'm not from the area, but if you are from this area, I do highly recommend

I'm not gonna lie, this might have been the best bagel sandwich I have ever had. We stopped by here after our morning workout and let me tell you this was the best place to refuel at. The inside was pretty small with not much seating, but there is additional seating outside, or you can take in the SoCal weather and eat on the beach like we did. The lady working was also so kind and thoughtful and truly made it a wonderful experience. I decided on a breakfast sandwich with ham egg and cheese which just melted in my mouth. I love cheese so I paid $1 extra for it to be on a 5-cheese bagel which was totally worth it and I would highly recommend. This place is so underrated and needs more hype, will definitely be back for future bagel cravings!

Bagel had more of a dry bread consistency- not a fan!

Considering the rating I was expecting more. The bagels are decent but I wouldn't say they are a solid "good". The bagels weren't your average bagel consistency. My 5-cheese bagel tasted like a slice of dry bread. I didn't like the sausage they used in my bagel sandwich. It's also pretty expensive, $43 for 2 bagel sandwiches, a coffee, & a chai. My husband hated the coffee, he said it was bitter & way too strong! The chai was good though. I would try a different bagel shop next time.

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast on our way home from our trip. The bagels did not disappoint! You could tell they are freshly made and delicious. You order inside and there are a few tables inside and a few tables outside to eat. We sat outside since it was such a nice day. The ordering process was easy and the food came out quickly and hot! Everything tasted delicious and I wish I lived in the area to come back. I got the breakfast sandwich with egg, tomato, onion and cheese. It was the perfect bagel and if I'm in the area I would definitely come back!

Alma, you were a delight to talk to!! I've had this place bookmarked for a while now, and today I wanted to try something new and nearby my house. As other reviewers have mentioned, it can be a little tricky to find, but it's worth the effort. I ordered a Yucateco bagel with everything gluten-free bagel. The bagel was warm and filled with pork loin, coleslaw, chipotle dressing, and jalapeños. Wow, that was so satisfying and full of flavor! I want to go back to try more of their food. Unfortunately, the rainbow bagel can't be made gluten-free because it's too much work to make. But that's understandable, and I appreciate that they at least have some gluten-free options. They also have a drink menu that includes coffee, chai, and Mexican hot chocolate, which Alma told me is their best seller. I'll have to go back to try it some other day. Although the restaurant has just a few tables inside and outside, it feels cozy and comfortable. Most people probably take their food to go anyways. I sat down in one of the chairs for a few minutes while my bagel was being made, and I had a lovely conversation with Alma, which made the time go even faster.

Bagel breakfast sandwich with ham! Yum!

Wonderful little cafe with unique bagels, pastries and cookies. Even all those fancy coffees that people crave. Our breakfast bagel sandwich was excellent! Limited seating inside but more outside. Signage to find place is lacking.

Everything bagel with onions, tomato

Great service. Even brought a bowl of water for my dog. Bagels were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Four small outdoor tables. They gave us samples of the rainbow bagel and I may come back just for that.

Really wanted to like this place, but the bagel arrived with a giant hair inside of it.

The food and drinks are super good and worth the prices. I really liked my Reuben sandwich and Mexican hot chocolate and my husband enjoyed his chicken curry sandwich. The employees are super friendly too! They also have interesting bagel flavors in interesting colors! The service was a little slow but it was close to the end of the day for them and everything was freshly made. The restaurant is small and cute with an outside patio. We are very happy to have tried this place and hope to be back soon.

Egg pastrami bagel

This is a very small hole in the wall type of place for breakfast bagels, they also have the lunch menu as well I've had the chicken club from their popular items on yelp And it didn't disappoint. Then I went again to try a breakfast egg pastrami bagel and it was great as well The cashier who is also the server is great and welcoming Ambiance is very nice as well you can see the bagels behind the glass

The bagels were giant and delicious. The service was amazing, great mom and pop shop vibes.

They offer a number of drinks & coffee, and pastries as well but I ordered their Bisco latte/cookie butter latte and this did not disappoint. I've never had anything like this before I loved how rich the Biscoff flavor was and they also add some kind of a special Hawaiian milk to it which I didn't mind but I also asked for this to be made in almond milk as well with no whipped cream. The moment I took a sip it was just Rich flavors bursting in my mouth. The only problem that I had with this place is that it's not closer to me, which is in the South Bay. Hint, hint I highly recommend.

I've visited both the Ventura and the Thousand Oaks locations, and my experience has been consistent. To me, this is a high-end Dunkin' Donuts and I don't even go there. The last time I had Dunkin' was about five years ago back home in Minnesota. I don't enjoy it because it tastes more like sugar with a splash of coffee rather than actual coffee and that's exactly how I feel about this place. I honestly don't understand why it's so popular. Most of the drinks taste extremely sweet. If you're looking for a sugary treat, a cheat-day drink, or something for your birthday, then this might be your spot. But if you genuinely enjoy coffee and want something balanced and bold, this probably isn't it. The only drinks I would personally order again are the cold brew or the Maui Mocha and even then, they're still on the sweeter side. One practical note: the Ventura location often has lines out the door. I'd recommend ordering online and picking up if you decide to try it. Overall, I'd say go try it for yourself but manage your expectations if you're a true coffee lover.

This cafe is sooo beautiful- I truly feel like I'm somewhere in Europe in a large open patisserie…read more It is typically super crowded her, so if you can find seating, count yourself lucky. I love their pastries, but the recent price increases do make them a luxury item. Kouign Amann are my fave, but any of their croissants are also great. I haven't really tried their drinks. Had a Hot chocolate at the Camarillo location, and they even had a little latte art in the milk foam. A beautiful space to enjoy, but pricey overall. Service is usually fine, not overly friendly but that is also due to being so busy that they need to move the lines quickly and efficiently. At Camarillo, the server was much more talkative and friendly because it wasn't crowded when I went.

She had the chicken salad. She said it was just chicken with mayo. The croissant was dry. The iced tea tasted like coffee unfortunately. The gentleman that delivered our food just plopped the plates down and walked away. No gluten free options only macaroons! First time at this location normally go to Camarillo and TO so I was expecting the same great food and service. There was a napkin on the ground directly under our table. The ledge by window was dirty! Just disappointing!

Another weekend, another coffee review…read more For this spot... I had mixed feelings. Walking in, I loved the vibe--super cozy couches where you can sit while waiting, plus tables if you want to dine in. They also had beautiful paintings displayed (I believe for sale), which made the space feel really unique and fun to look around. I started with my usual: a sugar-free vanilla oat latte. Unfortunately, it was pretty bland and lacked flavor, so I had to go back and get a side of cold foam to make it better. BUT their açaí smoothie?? SO good. Super fresh, not overly sweet--honestly perfect. I'd definitely come back just for the smoothies over the coffee. For food:* The #2 avocado toast was AMAZING. The spicy honey drizzle with fresh bacon took it to another level. The Seward sandwich was just okay--very plain (egg, ham, tomato, onion), nothing special. The breakfast burrito though... sooo good. Paired with their serrano sauce, it hit every time. I'd 100% order that again. Service-wise, they only had one girl working the front--taking orders and making drinks--and she handled it so well. Super sweet and did an amazing job. Overall, not a bad experience at all--but I'd come back for the food and smoothies, not the coffee.
