Tasty blackened hogfish blt. Crispy chicken sandwich was tasty too. Nice porch to people watch and chicken watch.

Ribeye steak

Absolutely exceptional food and service. Beats some of the best steakhouses I have been to. Filet and ribeye were cooked to perfection. The Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes sides were to die for and delicious. The server was so nice and did an amazing job and she brought my girlfriend a delicious key lime pie. I highly recommended coming here for a delicious date night for an amazing experience.

Mule and cucumber cooler

This review is for the daily HH 4-6pm. While waiting for sunset celebration at Mallory Square, we decided to stop and have early dinner here. we ordered their specialty cocktail : cucumber cooler and the mule. The mule was our favorite, like the ginger beer, it match well with vodka. The cucumber cooler has a bit of bitter after taste, it's quite refreshing. The happy hour food portions are small, which is good for us, as we are not that hungry. The lobster Mac and cheese was really flavorful, love the mac and the crispy topping. Pork tostoda was okay, the pulled pork was great. overall, this was a great HH experience.

Enjoyed a lovely date night at Bagatelle. Love when homes are converted into restaurants- makes for such pretty decor. Everything we ordered was plated beautifully. Staff was very professional & polished. It was a nice change of pace in key west to dine somewhere upscale, and I felt the food and service was well worth the price. I did choose this restaurant specifically because of all the rave reviews about the swordfish- unfortunately to me the seasoning was way too salty and I've had better swordfish if I'm being honest. However everything else we ate and drank was simply delicious- highly recommend sharing the lobster mac & cheese, and my husband and I both loved the grouper entree.

Bagatelle is a standout spot in Key West with a fun, lively atmosphere and consistently good food. The setting feels classic and energetic, whether you're dining upstairs or enjoying the balcony overlooking Duval Street. The menu offers a nice mix of seafood, comfort dishes, and well-executed classics. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well prepared, and the cocktails paired perfectly with the setting. Service was friendly, attentive, and kept things moving without feeling rushed. Great food, great location, and a true Key West vibe -- Bagatelle is an easy choice for the better places to eat in Key West.

Swordfish

So glad to have finally tried Bagatelle. We were a large group and seated quickly, though I'm almost certain someone in our group had a reservation. The service was excellent! I started with the cucumber basil martini and it was stand out delicious. For dinner I got the blackened swordfish and was really impressed by it! The serving size was way more than enough for me. We did get a couple orders of mussels for the table and as someone who only eats mussels occasionally, if not rarely, I found theirs phenomenal... I really liked the cognac peppercorn cream sauce. I was able to try some of the Key Lime Pie and found it good but thought was maybe too much meringue for me, though I recognize that's kind of a key west staple.

Swordfish over risotto

We started with happy hour at a high top downstairs for a cocktail then moved to the outside balcony on the upper level. Ambiance was excellent for both styles of our visit. They had a great wine selection and we enjoyed a bottle of Cab with our dinner. We started with a Caesar which had nice pieces of white anchovies (mine only) and then we both had blackened swordfish which was cooked and seasoned to perfection over risotto. We finished off with a glass of baileys on the rocks. Dinner was 2.5 hours of overlooking Duval ave in KeyWest. An incredible evening with service that wasn't pushy but there when we needed something.

We stopped in for brunch. Fish tacos, egg tacos and Keylime pie. Rosters and hens to keep us company. We say on the patio and had a nice meal. Service was good. Not sure that I'd return.

Fish special

We arrived with reservations for a part of 6, seated outside near the side of the house. Our waitress lacked personally and didn't seem like she wanted to be at work. The fish special was lacking flavor, fish was very overcooked as well as the vegetable risotto, fish was lukewarm-definitely not fresh out of the sauté pan, maybe partially precooked. We thought the food came out super fast for it to be cooked to order. The lobster was overcooked, pasta lacked Parmesan cheese that would have provided the salt and flavor that the dish needed. Chicken dish was enjoyed, tuna was ok. Only found out that the fish special was $60 when we got the bill, would have sent back for recook as 2 of us ordered and both dishes were overcooked. Worst meal we ate in Key West, it wasn't our first time here. Won't be back unfortunately.

The good: really cute and good vibes off Duval street. The bad: The signs outside, along with the website offer a morning happy hour ending at 11:30. When we got inside at 10:45, we were told it is only at the bar, so we moved upstairs to some additional bar tables. The server upstairs said HH ends at 11 now per her owner, and since it was 11:01 she couldn't put it in the system. After involving several other staff, they said they would honor the 11:30 time. The food was super average. The lobster mac and cheese had a couple specks of lobster in it. The corned beef hash was very dried out and had a lot of fatty pieces that looked like potato. The cornflake French toast was ok, but wouldn't go back for it. Very glad we only paid HH price for this!

Came here for lunch. The menu has GF options listed. We ordered different flavored mimosas to start. I indicated that I was GF/celiac and the server hesitated for a second. I just ordered from the GF items on the menu. My friend and I split the Bagatelle salad and garden omelette with no mushrooms. The food was really good and I did not have any symptoms afterwards. They do not have any GF dessert options.

Had breakfast at Bagatelle on Saturday morning. The restaurant is lovely just lovely. Beautiful decor. We had lovely Sol take care of us. What a wonderful server. She was sweet and very attentive. We found our breakfast dishes to be well prepared, very flavorful and nicely presented. We had some delicious Mango Mojitos. You have to get those. Why not a 5 you ask? The whole time we were sitting there an employee was talking to someone else at the bar in such a loud manner that we couldn't enjoy our time together. We heard all about here displeasure with God knows who. She was very distracting. I couldn't understand why Mgmt did not address it. It was unfortunate. I felt like I could not enjoy my food in what was a beautiful, romantic environment.

We were really excited to try bagatelle as our first meal in Key West. I had seen lots of good reviews on social media. After getting in late on New Year's Eve, we made reservations for New Year's Day brunch. The reservation was not necessary. When we arrived at 10am it was not busy at all. Perhaps this is just due to everyone still being asleep after the NYE festivities. We were seated upstairs on the outdoor deck. Service was pretty prompt but there was a dead bug in my water glass. Not the best start to the meal but also pretty understandable when water pitchers are outside. I ordered a mimosa and a coffee with cream and sugar. I was only provided artificial sweeteners and the container they came in was dirty. We booked the restaurant largely based on reviews of the cinnamon roll starter. We were notified that they were out of them. They were also out of buns so all the sandwiches would be on toast. They were also out of egg whites for any of the omelettes. All in all a pretty disappointing lack of items for the first day of the year. I ordered the traditional eggs Benedict and my husband had traditional breakfast. Both were just ok. Everything was a little lukewarm which is again disappointing. I anticipated crispy home potatoes based on other pictures. But these were soggy and overly doused in paprika. The mimosa was good though. I MIGHT try again for dinner if I'm ever in Key West again, but unlikely given the other great places we ate.

And it's not only the drink menu with its custom crafted cocktails, wines, beers & ciders that will wow you but the accompanying snacks and bites are just as divine. And bonus, it's not only a bar, but also a liquor store with an awesome selection of wines and spirits. This bar definitely has a locals vibe. It's small , dark and cozy and the small tables with velvet chairs are very welcoming. We loved it so much. We came back for a second night. We tried the Maria Rita, which was a reposado tequila with fresh lemon, lime, hibiscus, and habanero, perfect version of a margarita. We also tried blowing smoke up your glass, this was made with Papa Pilar, dark rum, pineapple, fresh lime, house made basil syrup & tiki bitters. Absolutely fabulous. We also tried their deviled eggs each topped with unique toppings like trout row, bacon, and scallions. They were absolutely fabulous. They also have a great selection of charcuterie, Key nuts which you can order with different flavor, profiles, caviar, olives & peppers. Also, the most generous happy hour I've ever heard of from 12 to 6 PM every day. Don't miss out on this little jewel when in Key West.
