We were intrigued when we saw this place but then decided against them when we saw how many flavours there were. Typically, that sort of display caters to the general public who enjoy overly-sugared shite drinks. Our server at Fogarty's let us know that they use real fruit and gave us samples. I'm so glad she did. They desperately need a sign that says they use real fruit here! I wonder how many others like us passed them by and missed out on awesome frozen drinks. As many options as there are, I kept going with the pina colada because I love them. And you CAN keep going because when you opt for the souvenir cup size, you get discounted refills. It's a fantastic value! The cups also made for great water bottles due to how lightweight they were. This became a must-stop for all future trips! read more

It's a nice little outside restaurant/bar on Duval street. Kind of a tiki vibe. I think there is an inside but I ate outside... misters and fans kept it comfortable. I had the catch of the day and flounder bites because I was halfway thru the duval crawl and had drunk enough to kill a steer. I had one of their signature cocktails ( it was frozen and vaguely red... I was hammered, it was good... flounder was fresh and well prepared. Catch of the day was red snapper blackened with rice ( I should have ordered fries for the absorption value) again fresh and well prepared... waitress was nice curvy and age appropriate. I'm just gonna start out by saying that usually when you are served beans and rice, it's just a side dish that is a filler. Not here. The rice was moist, seasoned lightly and the beans layered over top. Extremely superb side! The taco: fish was perfectly cooked and I loved the crispy red cabbage slaw with a little bit of tartness from the avocado dressing. Also, don't know how they did it. I feel like they possibly skillet fried the ingredients and then put it in the tortilla, but the cheese was even a little crispy crunchy, perfection in my book. read more

We arrived to key west fairly late. We didn't want to walk too far so we came to the first restaurant that was still open. The food here is decent but there are better restaurants in the area. I ordered the blackened shrimp which came with a wonderful tangy sauce. It also came with a large mound of rice. The shrimp didn't have that sweet and meaty flavor but it was still good with the sauce. We ordered a slice of key lime pie to share. It was really good. It had a slight lime flavor and the texture was firmer than the other places we've tried, more like a cheesecake texture. read more

Great drinks, delicious food, and outstanding service! We honestly went into this place with low expectations. It looks like your typical key west bar and it was absolutely packed with people considering several cruise ships had just pulled in for the day--so we assumed it would take awhile get drinks and that the food would just be average bar food. Fortunately, we were wrong! The bruschetta and conch fritters were so delicious, and although we didn't order any entrees we could see the food everyone around us was ordering and the sandwiches were massive! The fried fish and chicken was literally hanging off of the plates--everything looked very good. We also ordered several frozen piña coladas and margaritas--they were great! Perfect for a hot day in the Keys. We will definitely be back as we are excited to try more of their appetizers and entrees! read more

A chicken jumped up on our table next to me and scared my friend and you see the workers spraying them with a water bottle as if they are cats being bad. I had the banana split and it really did taste just like a banana split frozen delight. My friends both ordered frozen drinks as well. The one who ordered the blue raspberry lemonade (with a shot of Tito's added) said it was a bit too sweet. Now on to the food. Cobb salad, Caesar salad, blackened fish tacos & bruschetta were amongst the items we ordered. The bruschetta was a ridiculously large portion (in a good way) and would've been enough for a whole meal rather than just an appetizer. I had the blackened fish tacos which were flavorful and done well. My friends said both the salads were good, but nothing spectacular; but, I feel like it really takes some kind of salad to be put in the category of spectacular. It was hot and muggy as we wandered the streets of Key West. Then we saw it, like an oasis in the desert. Large foam insulated glasses of frozen booze in a variety of flavors for sale. We traded our sweat covered money for this glass of salvation. I took three big slurps of my citrus and grain alcohol concoction. Then my eyes crossed as I got a major brain freeze! I quickly applied the tried and true remedy of pressing my thumb to the roof of my mouth. It helped and the pain slowly subsided. Of course, I immediately did it again. They had a nice variety of flavored drinks to choose from (see pic of menu) and they helped us as we worked or way around the crowds. I had two different ones and both were tasty. But I didn't give 4 stars because they didn't have a booze kick. Maybe it was the hot weather and walking all over the place. But they were large glasses and we were all surprised that we each consumed 2 without any effect. But they were still cold and tasty like a 7-11 slushy! read more

The drinks are so refreshing and mostly fruity. Hot days in the Keys like right now need frozen drinks like these. They have a about 20 frozen machines like the ones at Seven Eleven for slurpees and they will even mix them up for you. Be warned though these drinks are loaded with sugar and they can be super sweet but they aren't strong and they do taste great. My favorites are the Ruby Roo and the Rum Runner, but you should try some of the combinations that are really popular like the Dirty Monkey (which is Banana Breeze mixed with Chocohol), the Pain in the Ass (which is Pina Colada mixed with Rum Runner), Mudslide (which is Chocohol mixed with White Russian) and my husbands favorite, the Miami Vice (which is Pina Colada mixed with Strawberry Daiquiri). read more

I have a service dog that is new to me and in training. She alerts to PTSD. The chickens are all over the restaurant and she isn't used to them. She was barking at one that kept going under our table. I apologized to the waitress and explained. The "manager" came over and told me if she barks again, I have to leave. Not only was he an ass about it, he also broke the law. I'm not one of those that tells people my pet is a service animal, I'm a combat vet. His demeanor and ignorance ruined the mood. I wanted to leave and told him he could cancel our order and we'll leave, but he insisted we pay. So, I'm getting my meal if I'm paying! Before we left, they lost all credibility with me when I asked for the corporate number and got an assistant manager that told me he would take care of it. Key West needs to do something about their chickens as well because having live chickens running around (a lot of them) isn't sanitary in a food establishment. Actually, Sabrina, the dog was completely under control. If a chicken pecked at you, you'd probably react too! If a service animal barks because it was provoked, it is not considered out of control. I'll be happy to take this up with a ADA attorney and see what they have to say about it, but the chicken provoked her several times. So, I had a really sincere and informative conversation with Sabrina and I think she really cares about her restaurant. This is one of our favorite stops to "people watch" while touring Duval Street. We got lucky and got a table right by the sidewalk. Our waitress took our frozen drink order ($8/16oz) then tried to "up sale" us to a larger drink size. We said no, so she said "OK, I'll bring you the little drink". That got me thinking as we had ordered the 16 oz size. I Then noticed that our cups wasn't filled up to the top, so I saved our cups and later measured the amount we were served. It was closer to 14oz and is known in the industry as a "short pour". Now I'm OK with this and will go there again and enjoy another "little drink". The food is good, the staff are friendly and the frozen drinks are very tasty. I just wished that some bars didn't have to hustle customers to make a profit. read more
