Came here for the holidays with family'. As 95% of them slept in, wife and I came over as we heard great things. It did not disappoint! Ambiance: It's located right near the marine - beach with gorgeous views and a large parking spot nearby. There is a nearby gift shop which is very convenient. The vibe also was very vacation - Key West A friendly - good vibes all around. 15/10 Service: Asked for advice for some Cuban food and of course their Cuban espresso based drinks. We got: 1. Cuban mix 2. Cafe con leche with Oatmilk 3. Regular Americano with their Cuban espresso Recommendations were spot on and the cashier was very patience for my line of questioning - as someone new. 15/10 Food: Usually when I drink coffee or Americans or anything with espresso I chug and finish them. Just what I'm used to. The 2 espresso hot drink I had - I could taste the sweetness in the espresso. Very much enjoyed sipping on it, as I didn't want it to end! One of the best Americanos I ever had . My wife absolutely loved the cafe con leche with oatmilk and the Cuban mix was ON POINT!!!! Highly recommend to visit here if you ever visit key west! This will always be a spot of ours now whenever we visit in future.

My husband and I decided to try Cuban Coffee Queen while in Key West. We heard good things about it and wanted to see the hype. I will say it was very touristy. The customer service was lackluster, and there was a bit of a wait. There were a few benches to sit on while you wait, but they all were preoccupied by other patrons or locals. I ordered an iced caramel coffee with oat milk and chocolate. It was okay, but we wished the added flavors were a bit more robust. Overall, it was worth a try, but idk if I'd try it again.

This location is convenient, has parking, and some benches outside to wait. Food is always dress and tasty. Key wester, turkey club, and tuna are good. Cuban mix is better other places I have reviewed. Coffey is very good. Service is normally fast and friendly. Chickens and iguanas outside and gift shop with island style. We enjoy the food, service, location, and view.

Overpriced and not so personable. Perhaps a bad day but definitely not the energy I wanted to start my day with. The iced coffee was good enough. They have soy, almond and oat milk alternatives. So that's a plus. Quick spot to grab and go. Ordered the Cuban toast. I grew up on these. And they are meant to be nicely pressed offering that slight crunch on the bite. Unfortunately that wasnt the case here. Had a better experience at Ana's cafe.

The only coffee I drink when I'm in Key West. It's so good. You can have it without any sugar. I usually get the iced coffee as the ice cubes are made out of coffee so it never dilutes. There's sandwiches or egg and cheese is to die for in the morning on a huge Cuban roll. Nice employees and don't forget to get your frequent coffee card for a free one with multiple purchases. We take the beans home and grind them have that coffee in New Jersey.

It's been nearly a decade since I've been here. Over said decade, I've never forgotten about Cuban Coffee Queen because we had such great experiences here! I felt the need to update my review to reflect my most recent experience. And if I'm being honest, today's visit was underwhelming. Not much has changed here (other than the prices). The hole-in-the-wall storefront is a coffee shack of high voltage, Cuban caffeinated goodness. Counter service wasn't very warm or friendly today. I normally drink my coffee black. But if I'm having the likes of Cuban or Vietnamese coffee, I don't mind the extra sweetness. So I got mine with light cream and sugar. On a hot and humid summer day, the drink didn't come out cold. It needed more ice. From the first sip to the last, it didn't have the same satisfying feeling I remember. We eventually got more ice from another business after walking around for 10 minutes. It helped, but like I said, it didn't have that addicting flavor I remember so vividly. Review updates are important. Today was a 3 star experience, though I'm leaving it at a 4 to reflect all my positive visits from a long time ago.

Strong and sweet, that Cafe Con Leche was. I sipped it watching a chicken walk by. Only at Cuban Coffee Queen in Key West can you enjoy the company of a chicken while drinking superb Cuban coffee. The Jose Marti was a hearty and meaty sandwich, a good, solid Cuban pork sandwich. We sat, drank, and ate on a nearby bench in the Key West spring sun, as customers kept lining up at Cuban Coffee Queen for their great coffee and eats. The restaurant presents as little more than a shack, and it's more of a to-go place without any formal seating. These are often my favorite kinds of places -- casual and busy and very yummy.

Best place to get REAL Cuban coffee in all of Key West! The iced coffee is my favorite. It's STRONG coffee, so if you like weaker brews this may not be your cup of joe. The ambiance is very Key West, with lots of chickens joining you as you sip your brew. The service is always incredible. Always kind and informative about the area. They do have a bathroom- which is hard to find in the area. Highly recommend checking this place out as part of your keys experience!

I saw the place someone's video. It was good and big place. I ordered egg and cheese but I thought it serve on the plate. But it was sandwiche! The bread was pretty good! Really good. The coffee was not what I want but it's ok. Pretty wide collection on the clothes...

Well it's a little too hot for coffee. But they do have cold brew for $6.25. They also offer lots of sandwiches breakfast sandwiches salads and smoothies. We came here for the Key West mural! Very cool.! Looks like the hotspot for coffee.

Coffee Queen is an accurate representation of what the locals voted best coffee in Key West. An unassuming little spot among loading docks has a line at open @ 630am and doesn't ever seem to disappear. Staff are friendly and quick with a smile and your cup and/or food. The coffee is robust and smooth, can be sweetened if you want but it's perfect as it is for my taste. Prices are average but worth a visit if you have the time or are in the area. We've been multiple times during our visit and will be going there until we leave. Best we've had in the keys yet.

Such a treat! Stopped in the cuban queen (just inside a little mall) and ordered a Cortadito to go on the way to sightseeing! Service was friendly, fast and my coffee was absolutely delicious! A must if you're in Key West.

When we walked to Doing Work Coffee, we were initially a bit confused and weren't sure we were in the right place. That's understandable, since it shares space with Wicked Lick Ice Cream. Fortunately, the owner noticed our confusion and warmly invited us in. Food: It wasn't listed on the menu, but they were happy to make me a London Fog tea latte. My son ordered a white chocolate latte. Both drinks were good. Personally, I prefer coffee served in a mug, and they only use paper cups, which took away a bit from the experience. They don't offer much in the way of baked goods, but they did have butterscotch scones. The scone was slightly too sweet for my taste, but the texture was excellent. They heated it for us, which made it even more enjoyable. Service: The service was exceptionally friendly. We felt genuinely welcomed, and the owner took the time to have a conversation with us. After hearing his story and seeing his commitment and work ethic firsthand, I found myself rooting for his success. Atmosphere: Since they share space with the ice cream shop, the environment isn't fully coffee-centric. Coffee is the focus earlier in the day, with ice cream taking over later. There is limited seating, and for me, part of the coffee shop experience is slowing down, drinking from a proper mug, and enjoying a calm, dedicated café environment. I'm not sure what their long-term plans are, but I hope they eventually move into their own space. They clearly care about what they're doing, and it would be great to see them grow into a full coffee shop experience. Best of luck to them.

I arrived around 7:30 a.m., and the place was already starting to get busy. Food They offer a very interesting assortment of donuts, including flavors you don't typically see elsewhere. Options like Blueberry Cheesecake, Brown Butter Hazelnut, and Cuban Coffee Cake stand out. I chose the Cuban Coffee Cake. It was essentially a spiced coffee cake shaped like a donut, topped with plenty of glaze and crumble. The portion was generous. It could easily feed two people, but I managed to finish the entire thing. For a beverage, I ordered a Mocha Latte. The flavor was very good, but it was served on the cool side. It was completely cold before I finished, and I ended up tossing the last portion. They only serve drinks in paper cups, not ceramic mugs. Although mugs were visible, I was told the health department does not allow them to use them. For me, coffee in a real mug always feels better than paper. Service I have mixed feelings about the service. The person taking my order seemed a bit on edge. When I asked about the mug situation, she appeared annoyed that I would even ask. Since it was my first visit, I asked about the most popular donut, and that also seemed to irritate her. I rephrased and asked for her personal favorite instead, which she answered more willingly. I noticed a few other staff interactions, and the overall tone of the crew felt tense. Not sure if that's typical or if it was just a busy morning. Atmosphere I took a small table inside to finish my coffee and donut. There are several small tables, best suited for two people. Toward the back of the dining area there were boxes and pallets visible. This isn't necessarily a place you visit for ambiance. Most people grabbed a box of donuts and left. Only a handful were dining inside. If you want a good donut with creative flavors, this place delivers. Just don't expect a relaxed coffee shop experience with welcoming, friendly staff.
