Khushka & chilly chicken
Deepu D.

The food was so good when they first opened. Over the months the standards have become so horrible. They biryani was flavorless. There was NO MEAT in the biryani. Just BONES. Not kidding. And Biryani was cold. Like refrigerator cold in the bottom. The raita tasted like milk and the gravy was cold. Rice was mushy. This is not the first time. This has happened three times in a row now.

Chicken Donne Biryani

Take-out only, this is a cloud kitchen. Order online asap, things get sold out at 5pm for dinner on a Friday evening. We tried the Chicken Donne biryani and Bengaluru chilli chicken, both were good. Biryani quantity was less especially the chicken inside. Chilli chicken is different, chicken is super soft and separates from the bone easily. Must try once. There is no service or ambience to mention anything.

Chicken biriyani
Sree S.

So conflicted with the rating. The biriyani was spot on and 5 stars, the chili chicken that I ordered on the other hand was the strangest chili chicken I've ever had, it was like a chicken with Mexican green sauce!? I hope they improve on the chili chicken recipe.

Mushroom biriyani with mutton Chops

Highly Recommend!!!! Their Donne biryani really took me back to Bangalore, and their weekly specials featured a variety of Karnataka sub-cuisines. More appreciation thing is even their vegetarian options were delicious and hygienic. We had catering from them which went a great hit as their catering services also offer a wide range of vegetarian choices. Overall, Badoota exceeded my expectations and left me wanting more!

Jackfruit biryani and mutton biryani and chilli chicken

There was quite the hype about authentic karnataka food from one of my friends which is why I checked it out. The place provides only takeout option while you have to pre-order food to pick up on Saturday . Online ordering was pretty straightforward on their website. But pricier if you order delivery vs takeout Service during food pickup was pretty quick as well. They had the food packed and ready to go even though there were a lot of people who came for pickup. The mutton biryani was good and to my liking. Jackfruit biryani was probably a hit and miss.. if you like extra spicy chicken curry then chili chicken would be good option. It was a little spicy for me but that's fine. Parking was probably a little tricky but you can park on the street as Saturday evening the street was pretty empty

Mysore natu koli pulav

Cloud kitchen which offers pickup once a week and need to pre order to avoid sell off's. Online order and Pick up are easy. Got mutton donne and mysore nati pulav. Easily one of the best donne biryani's i ate , mutton cooked nice and tender and their raita deserves special mention. Mysore pulav is decent and may b a option if you want it less spicy. Hoping they offer more days to order and pickup in near future.

Definitely Bangalore styled donne Biryani, we tried chicken kebab (chicken pakoda) 4/5 - will try again mutton biryani 4/5 - will try again jack fruit biryani 3/5 - 50/50 Chili chicken 3/5 ( tip: its literally chili chicken very spicy ) - not trying again Chicken Biryani 2.5/5 ( kinda felt bland) - not trying again Service is 5/5

I ordered the chicken Donne Biryani. Very flavourful and authentic! The quantity is huge and reminded me of my good old Bangalore days. The entire staff is very cheerful and you can feel the vibe & the passion in what they deliver. Highly recommend this place. It's a 'MUST TRY'!

Decent place.. got donne biriyani. Passable. Didn't find it worth the price and ratings though for a strictly non dine-in place...

I was surprised that the Shanghai one was so good because I thought it can't beat the one with cheese but my kids actually preferred Shanghai. The girl that took my order was very friendly even though someone who walked by gave her some $hit for their prices. I told her don't worry she's prob drunk from all the wine she drank. I don't understand why people say stuff like that. If you can make it at home for cheaper, then go make it at home. You don't have to pay for a permit and a food truck and all the other expenses that go with selling out of a food truck, so zip it! One last thing, the lady who gave me my food was not happy when I asked for my food to go. I'm sorry but when my order was taken I wasn't asked if it was for here or to go so I assumed it was going to be in a container. I was going to walk home with all that food so I asked if it could be to go. I didn't like leaving the place like I was a nuisance but whatever, I'm a big girl, I got over it. The food was good and I'll go back next time I'll see them somewhere. I might go tomorrow since I'm assuming they'll be there for the second day and I'll make sure to say TO GO if I'm going to take them home to the fam... yum lol Sorry no pictures because everyone was devoured quickly.

Ever since I went to Japan last year, I crave delicious yakitori from a charcoal grill in the Bay Area and always seek out new places to try. I finally tried Okibiyaki-Kikuchi as a yakitori pop-up at ShaKa brewing after eyeing it for a long time. The grilled meat skewers were so delicious and enjoyable to eat with a cold beer flight from ShaKa brewing. The chef is a master of yakitori. I tried hatsu, kalbi, shishito, kimo, and bara tama. I can describe a perfect night like this. A perfect night included skewers from the live ember grill by the master chef and a beer flight. The flavors are legit-- the process of preparing the meat is impressive, and the technique with the charcoal grill brings out the best flavors. The Bay Area is treated to authentic flavors like in Japan. It is recommended that should arrive to the pop-up early as they ran out of the chicken skewers. I will absolutely order the chicken skin and thigh again and again. I also tried his pop up at Clandestine Brewery as well. The quality is so consistent and delicious. I like the vibe of eating like in a picnic style outdoors with a cold glass of beer. Nothing beats that for me. Follow @okibiyaki_kikuchi on IG to see where he pops up next.

Then you got inside and immediately waited in one line to get your tickets and another to select your table...then as soon as you got in you waited in ANOTHER long line to order a drink. Definitely poor planning on part of the event organizers. That said...the event itself was AMAZING! The decor, the staff, the food was phenomenal. Everything on the menu was themed based on the show and the portions were huge, we left very full. The entertainment was fun. For anyone who is a huge Game of Thrones fan, this was an event to remember. We dressed in theme and had a blast taking pictures with the props. It seems the event organizers have some kinks to work out with the venue but I would definitely attend another themed event by them.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!…read more Here's the breakdown: ENTRANCE: lined up early to get the tables we wanted. Doors opened about an hour late. Many arrived there after work and didn't eat hoping to scarf down some good food, they were very disappointed. ALCOHOL: decent, pricey, comes with some memorabilia you can take home. If you ordered the pairing, you may or may not have the pairing in time with your meal. Cocktail hour was more than an hour, doors were still closed to the banquet room. Still starving. If you're not a drinker then you'll find yourself waiting/standing somewhere just people watching. FOOD: After over 2 hours you finally get a small appetizer. The butter on the table was apparently decoration for bread that will be served way later and cold. The food comes in slowly and cold. You can tell it was sitting out long. By the way, you share the small servings with other starving attendants who'll hopefully leave some good stuff on the platter for you. "SHOW": there was no show. There were people dressed up as characters, they recited random lines from the show and sometimes poorly. One "scene" did not connect with the previous one. It was literally "actors" saying 2-3 lines then getting off stage. They make for good pictures later though. SERVICE: order every drink you'll ever want at the beginning because it will take you that long to get your drink. Ask to pay the bill before everyone else does because it actually took an over an HOUR (no joke) to get the bill and pay it after we've eaten and asked for the bill. It was a 3-4 course meal and it took forever to get our food...FOREVER. I'm pregnant and had a headache because i was so hungry. I survived off preggy pops and water. DECORATIONS: like a high school Halloween party. Staff dressed up looked good though. OVERALL: good concept, poor execution. I enjoyed going with my family and having a shared experience of something we all enjoyed but we could've thrown a party of our own at home. Would not go again. 2 stars
