My friend brought me here and it's a cute authentic North Indian cafe with breakfast, snacks, baked goods, coffee and tea. They post the food menu outside so u need to look at it before entering which is a little inconvenient when it's cold outside. The drink menu is inside. U need to press the bell button at the front to get service as the owner is usually in the back cooking/baking. We ordered the Shami Kabab and Paratha, Aloo ki tikki chat, and Aloo paratha. The Shami kabab is meat with a flat bread plain. Comes with onions and a white dipping sauce. The Aloo paratha is the potato paratha i really enjoyed. My favorite was the Aloo ki tikki chat. It is cauliflower veggie patti covered in a sauce with chick peas.. a little sweet and savory and spicy all at the same time. Everything went well together. Had a small cookie at the end which was also nice. Liked the hole in the wall feel with the owner serving us as u can tell creating this food is his passion. Will def be back!

How long it took - good timing

So I wanted to get this out upfront that I went for this place for halwa puree and try it out. I am coming from a background of Pakistani halwa puree eating at the street food spots in Karachi often. This place had a more Indian taste version of the food This place was empty when we got there, first people there. There was only outdoor seating as well, but although it was windy, the setup tent was nice so it was not cold. The food came in good timing about 15-18min as the guy at counter said 15min, so that was spot on. The food came in a tray, and I asked in mine for specifically no aloo so they gave more choley which was nice of them. The choley tasted more like a karahi type of flavor and less of a choley type, and the aloo (tasted from my guests tray, had more of a gobee taste not aloo. The puree was thicker and had a different look, texture, and flavor than the puree I am used to at Pakistani places or back in Karachi. The halwa was also missing the look in color and the sweetness as well. So it was a little disappointing but maybe that's how it is where the owners from here are from. But def not the taste was expecting The masala chai was decent as well. I'd recommend this place to those who know what type of food offered here and like it but for people who want a Pakistani style halwa puree I would tell em maybe go to tandoori and curry in Fremont etc.

Great food On the weekend you must try their Weekend Special Halwa Puri Chole and aloo sabzi! Their aloo paratha is also really good. I highly recommend their Delhi style cold coffee - reminded me of ccd in India Their variety of chai is also pretty good! Currently (post covid) they only have outdoor dinning available.

I would do a 3.5 stars if that's possible,.. we got the irani chai, cold coffee, veg puff and aloo paratha The chai and cold coffee though were expensive were quite good.. but I mean why does it have to be so expensive compared to other places ?! The veg puff was good but it was quite greasy The paratha was very homestyle, non greasy and comforting Nothing to right about the ambience, I think the menu has more to offer.. would come back often if not for the pricing

Amazing food, and even better service. If you want a delicious Indian breakfast then this is your spot.

Delhi Espresso - super yum 5/5

Conveniently located on el camino real road, right next to chickfila and indian grocery stores, Ample parking and lots of outdoor seating!! Be prepared to wait for your order to come out coz everything is fried fresh :) In $50, we got: - chole bhature 5/5 comes with side of pickle and aloo sabzi and chopped onions - poori halwa chole aloo 4.5/5 - keema and parantha - good portion size for 1- 4/5 - delhi style espresso 6/5 so so loved it and reminded me of the indian wedding coffee with the big machine and sprinkled with hot chocolate super yummy - 1 irani chai 4/5 - 1 masala chai 5/5 U enter n order inside n wait outside standing or seated for your order to come. It took ours 35 mins coz of the brunch timing n a lot of people but well worth the wait. They give all food to-go style in disposable boxes with plastic cutlery to keep it safe. #supportlocal #definitelyrecommended

Food was delicious. I like there chaat items. Ambiance is quiet simple. Service is slow but understandable , I guess they have plenty of orders all the time.

If there were minus five stars (-5) stars, I would give them... I went to get some Halwa and ordered tea...remember this is a to-go order. 30 min later, I am still waiting for Halwa and tea. Their service is one of the slowest I have seen in the Bay Area. I could tolerate if the chef was preparing fresh Halwa or tea. Sadly that was not the case. Now let's talk about food.. once I opened the bag, this is the Halwa surprise I got (picture)... this looks like a serving for toddlers... chai was average and for $4.99 .. Not a happy experience and not going back either! I feel like I wasted my afternoon today

Very bad chai! For my life, I have never had so bad taste of tea anywhere in the world, it was like finding the 9th wonder but worst.

Food we ordered: 1) Dilkush Dabeli: amazing I loved it 2) Pav Bhaji: good, Bhaji needs less butter and less purée-ing 3) paneer sandwich (I forgot the name): heavy. Lays chips: I'm not a big fan, Green chutney served along side was watery and not something I would eat. Service: the guys were fast, kind and sincere. Since I loved my dilkush dabeli I'll be coming back again (and that's why I gave it 5 stars)

A Solid Spot for Your Street Food Cravings :…read more This is a decent place that definitely lives up to its name, if you are craving Pav Bhaji, this is exactly where you want to be. The Food: I have to give the Pav Bhaji a solid 5 stars. They have all the options you could want to try out (like the Amul Pav Bhaji), and it hits the spot perfectly. The bhaji comes out generously topped with shredded cheese, accompanied by perfectly toasted, buttery pav, fresh diced onions, and a lime wedge. They also offer the "more" part of their namesake, which includes street food staples like Vada Pav, loaded Paneer and Veg Sandwiches (served with a great green chutney and a side of chips), and chaat. The Dahi Puri (listed as S.P.D.P.) looks great and comes beautifully topped with yogurt, sev, and fresh pomegranate seeds. You can also wash everything down with some authentic Amruttulya chai or a refreshing glass of chaas. The interior is casual, clean, and has plenty of seating, making it a great spot for a quick bite. However, true to its name, the menu doesn't stretch much further beyond these specific street food staples. If you are looking for an expansive, full-course menu, you won't find it here. Overall: 5 stars for the Pav Bhaji, but giving it a solid 4 stars overall for the rest of the items and the limited menu scope. Definitely worth a stop when that specific craving hits!

Local Pakistani artwork adorning the walls. Delicious grilled meat smells wafting around as well. ***FOOD: we got chicken 65, naan and samosa chaat sans yogurt. *chicken 65-3/5- this was almost beetroot red in color. In my naivety I hoped it was some natural food color using beetroot. But I later learnt from them that it was not. It left me appalled at the liberal use of such toxic artificial colors. Colors aside, the chicken itself was delicious. But I will make sure to ask them beforehand next time and order something that doesn't have colors. *naan-5/5- this was amazing. Hot from the tandoor. It wasn't charred at the bottom. It was light and large. It was clear that it was made by someone who knew their craft. I will come back here just for the naan. *samosa chaat-3/5- this made me sick, I had an upset tummy for a few days after. It was hot day so I m assuming they had problems with their chutney or maybe it was the samosa with the potato filling. Upset tummy aside, the chaat flavors were decent, not the best of the lot but decent nonetheless.

First off, the delivery was a smooth process, dot on time and packaged with such precision. Ankush, who runs the show at Delhicacies came to do the honors and as well left detailed instruction on how to go about preparing one of the starter dishes that we had ordered (Bhalle Papdi chaat that is). The menu we chose included Bhalle Paapdi Chaat, Cocktail Samosas, Paneer Tikka Masala, Chana Masala, Baingan Bharta, accompanied by Roomali Roti and Lacchay Pyaaz as a side salad. The Bhalle Paapdi Chaat was an instant crowd-pleaser, with the perfect balance of crispy papdi, fresh bhalle, cool sweet yogurt, tangy tamarind along with green sauces, a secret masala powder and a garnish of beetroot , pomegranate and cilantro. All of these were packed separately and instructions were provided (step by step) to prepare the end result which tasted out of the world good. It was refreshing yet packed with flavors that kept everyone asking for seconds. The Cocktail Samosas were golden, crisp, and filled with a spiced potato mixture that made them an ideal finger food--perfectly bite-sized and not greasy at all. For the main course, the Paneer Tikka Masala (PTM) stole the show with its rich, velvety sauce that coated the tender paneer in just the right amount of spice. The flavors were balanced yet bold, making it a standout dish. The earthy flavor in the paneer made it finger licking good and definitely was the biggest hit of the evening. The Chana Masala had the perfect texture--soft chickpeas simmered in a well-spiced gravy that had just the right amount of heat and tang. Cubes of paneer in there definitely made it a good overall combination and complemented with the PTM. The smoky and flavorful Baingan Bharta added an earthy depth to the meal as well. The eggplant was roasted beautifully, bringing out its natural flavors, which paired wonderfully with the Romali Roti. The roti was soft, thin, and warm, making it the ideal vehicle to soak up the gravies. We did end up heating the rotis in our microwave oven for about 10-15 seconds in batches and they remained perfect in their texture and taste. The Lacchay Pyaaz--freshly sliced onions with a sprinkle of masala--added a crunchy, refreshing bite to balance the richness of the other dishes. Overall, Delhicacies delivered an out of the world authentic North Indian culinary experience with each dish tasting as though it was prepared with care and precision. The food was flavorful, perfectly spiced, and served fresh. Our guests were impressed, and we couldn't have been happier with the quality of food and service of delivery. If you're looking for reliable and delicious Indian catering, Delhicacies should be at the top of your list! Give them a chance and thank me later. You are welcome!!!
