The workers were helpful and patient with samples. I ended up doing a small cup with the pistachio cream and pistachios at the bottom, and for my flavors I chose the buttercream pretzel and the chocolate pistachio crunch. Chef's kiss. The flavors are super creamy and high quality, and the pistachio cream cup was a dream, especially with the flavors I picked. The pistachio cream was really loaded up at the bottom! Next time I'd try a pistachio dipped waffle cone. It's a bit steep at around $9 minimum for most items but I'd say it's worth it! read more

Went to this gelato place to try while craving for ice cream. Inside the place has cute and elevated decors with their own QR menu when I walked in. I tried 3 flavors- Pistachio, Tiramisu, and Strawberry Cheesecake. They are all good flavors. But my 1st favorite was Strawberry Cheesecake; which has a tangy taste with crumble pieces of cheesecakes in it. Every bite was delicious. My 2nd favorite was Tiramisu; which has bold flavor that I like. There were many staff serving the customers; so i got our delicious dessert pretty quick even though the line was long. Customers were able to try variety of flavors when they ask and they provide samples on little spoons. I like that their gelato is freshly made using organic milk and organic cream. Gelato is pretty good however Carlos the employee needs to work on his customer service skills. I asked for 3 different flavors of one pint each. He stated there are premade pints in the grab and go freezer. I responded with these pre made pints are rock hard and does not have the same texture which is what this establishment is known for. He shook his head and I apologized for making him do that. In my head I was wondering how is this any different than the multiple customers that ask for individual scoops. It took no longer than 5 minutes to do it. I still gave him a 15% tip but I know I shouldn't have. Just glad my family including my sister enjoyed it for her birthday. Delicious! The gelato was very soft, so I'm not sure I'd recommend a cone. Even on a 70 degree day it was dripping everywhere! But the flavors were good, particularly the pistachio. You can get the cone or the bowl lined with pistachio or Nutella, but I'm not sure I'd recommend it. It's pretty, but I did not think it added much to the taste and it's an extra cost. We came here after Mother's day brunch and somehow managed to beat the rush. The storefront is very small, and it gets packed quick. Luckily, the line moves very quickly. The flavors were amazing. I got the hazelnut chocolate and the pistachio. Pistachio was one of the best that i've had in a while. Unfortunately i came around 8:30PM and it seems they have trouble maintaining the temperature of their gelato. It felt melted even when i was sampling. Perhaps I need to go back and try it again earlier in the day so i can also comment on the texture at it's optimal temperature. Ciocchino (hazelnut) waffle cone with Belgian chocolate: wow, a chocolate lover's dream. I first had Bacio at one of their other locations and was pleasantly surprised to see them open in Old Pas. This is one of those places where you really can't go wrong with any of the flavors. Free samples provided. The ambiance of the store is clean and decadent compared to rival gelato/ice cream stores. I find this place most similar to Eataly gelato and I personally like this place better! I definitely want to try their coffee at my next visit. The store itself is slick and clean with no inside seating. So you will most likely have to grab and go eat elsewhere. I got their pistachio gelato and it was really good. We tried the strawberry cheesecake and the peanut butter cookie crunch, they were both delicious, but I preferred hers over mine lol. COCONUT: -- lots of shredded coconut -- medium towards HIGH sweet -- it's 84F outside so we mostly hid in the shade and this flavor held up better than the others for us to finish -- nice clear coconut taste, authentic RATING = A VANILLA: -- vanilla bean specks added would upgrade this -- vanilla flavor decent -- melts too quickly RATING = B PISTACHIO: -- this one became a "soup kitchen" in barely more than a heartbeat -- medium towards HIGH HIGH sweet -- nice bigger chunks of pistachio nut RATING = B- Interior presents as fancy and the prices match that, but the quality and quality control is not quite there. Flavor list is alright but there are too many flavors that would be even higher sweet than these based on ingredients. This place is only for higher sweet lovers. read more
