Went in the middle of a 95 degree day and Bacio di Latte was an amazing hideaway from the heat. We were helped by Malazia and wow, those scoops were the most delicious of all our visits. She took her time to really mix the toppings in and YUM! Their gelato is always delicious and quality is out of this world. If you're hesitant to go, why? They offer samples. Go experience a bit of heaven on earth for yourself.
The gelato here is creamy, flavorful, and definitely high quality. They have a ton of flavors, and the staff is really helpful about letting you sample whatever you'd like before deciding. The shop is a little cramped inside, but there are a few seating areas along the walls. Portions are on the smaller side and the price is a little steep, but you are paying for quality, and the gelato delivers.
BEST GELATO I'VE EVER HAD! SO SOFT AND CREAMY! THEY HAVE PISTACHIO CREAM YOU HAVE TO ADD! and the service was amazing they let me sample flavors and they nearly wrapped the napkin around the cup! will definitely be going back!
The customer service here was amazing. All the staffs were kind, friendly, and helpful. We were able to try a few samples before ordering. One of our favs was the Yogurt Bianco. It was simple but delicious. Small place and the line could get pretty long. However, that little cup will put a smile on your face.
I've tried Bacio a few times now, and do quite enjoy it though it is quite expensive and still doesn't compare to the gelato in Italy. Their portions are also quite small for the price, so there's the reason I can't give full 5 stars. However, I think the occasional splurge for their gelato is okay. I do like their Affogato, and they do give out samples for their flavors before you can choose your flavor(s). Even single scoops can have 2 flavors. Located in the heart of Old Town Pasadena, closest parking lot is on De Lacey, so you'll have to walk over.
I always see a ridiculously long line outside the building so figured I'd give it a try. Gelato was good but nothing spectacular. No fancy flavors, just what you'd expect from an ice cream shop. I think Trader Joe's gelato might do it better (and much cheaper). Two flavors in a tiny sample-sized cup is $9 (!!!), so on price alone I would not return.
It was my first time trying gelato here and I was excited to check it out. The shop is on the smaller side with no tables or chairs. There was a short line when we visited on a Friday afternoon. They offer samples and had 3 vegan options available which was nice for my friend who is vegan. I ordered the raspberry sorbet and it was really good and fresh! I ordered it in a cup but they also have cones. The only downside was the customer service, the person who took our order took away from the excitement and overall experience.
Been passing by Bacio di Latte on my walks in Pasadena and always saw the long lines out the door. Must be popular, and must be good! Got the strawberry cheesecake, salted caramel, and peanut butter chocolate caramel as part of a regular cup. Once I got past the expected sugar overload of picking three of the most sweetest gelato options, I can say this is some really good stuff. You can tell this is some legit gelato because that stuff melted VERY quickly. Bu yeah, the quality is there. Staff are really friendly. They do a good job of keep the line moving, so even though the line seems long it goes pretty quickly. Wouldn't mind coming back down the road!
A cute little spot for a quick scoop of gelato to cool off in the afternoon or for a little dessert after dinner. The staff were friendly and let us get samples. They have a nice dairy-free selection. I thought the dairy-free strawberry was okay, nothing that knocked my socks off but was a good midday treat.
OMGEEEE- creeeamy and deeelicious!! I was a tad overwhelmed by the options so I got the best selling salted caramel. Soooo glad I did Ribbons of caramel...beyond flavorful. Service was speedy. Cut little place but tight...
I love Bacio di Latte as a business and I have been to many of their locations in Orange County. This location in Pasadena is in a prime location off Colorado and De Lacey. We parked nearby in the De Lacey parking structure off De Lacey and Green. The interior is one of the smaller locations, no seating. We took our ice cream to nearby outdoor seating in the area. So this location has a lot of room for improvement. There was 4 staff working, and no other customers. 2 of the staff stood in the middle practicing their scoops and basically stood in the way of the other 2 trying to help me. Like can you move? Practice with one of the flavors on the edge? Also I tried a couple of samples, and the texture was off compared to how I know it should be at other locations. Maybe they're not busy enough here and the flavors were sitting there too long cause a few of the flavors weren't as smooth as they normally are. We ended up getting the Regular in the Waffle Cone ($11.55) and chose a Mint Chocolate Chip and their namesake Bacio di Latte, which is a sweet cream. This 2 scoop feels smaller than their other locations too. Maybe they need more practice on making these scoops consistent. If this was my first encounter ever with Bacio di Latte I might never come back. But being a fan of the brand and knowing their potential, I hope they can take my feedback and make improvements to staff training and product quality. After all... THIS ISN'T CHEAP.
After grabbing dinner in the area, my friends and I were craving dessert, so we naturally had to go make our way to a sweet little treat, Bacio di Latte. Parking in Pasadena is tricky but I believe that you can go to any parking structure and get a cheaper parking deal. They let you sample the gelato so I tried everything chocolate and opted for the hazelnut and the ferrero rocher. They have three sizes for their cups: piccolo, regular, and grande. All the flavors were wonderful - I just prefer my gelato to be chocolate-forward! They also let you add two flavors for the piccolo and three flavors for the regular. Very generous if you ask me! This is a grab and go spot so be prepared to walk around with your gelato or eat it standing up! If there is a line and a crowd inside, it may be hard to linger and take the cute photos but the inside is aesthetic, cute, and worth a moment to take in. You could potentially sit in their window sill area if you end up going late night, which is what we ended up doing.
Amazing is all I can say! It was so soft and not to sweet it was just amazing and hit the spot on a nice hot day! I got the sweet cream and pistachio on a cone. The people were super sweet they let us taste a flavor before we ordered it definitely if I find my self in the area I will have to make a pit stop here
Pure decadence! This place is where frozen confectionery dreams come true! Shoutout to the IG fam for introducing this place to me. The moment I saw it, my wife had a text from me asking "we going today?" I love Pasadena, and the fact we have this here now seals the deal even more! The moment you walk you're slapped with that Godly waffle cone essence. This ain't your typical "baskin robbin's". Much more elegant, flavorful and from the texture itself you can tell it's the real deal. Light fluffy and delicious Gelato. Once it was our turn to order, I already knew what I was getting. Waffle cone, pistachio cream dipped, salted caramel on the bottom, mousse di pistacchio in the middle and Giandujotto on the top! Debauchery in a cone! Wild! I know! All flavors were perfection. Spot on what my palate expected and received! This was totally worth it, I can't express or explain it enough. So bomb! Although I haven't been to Italy(yet) I felt as if I was roaming the streets of Turin! Amazing! Can't wait to be back! read more
Amazing Gelato. I got the Belgian Chocolate and Strawberry Cheesecake flavors The chocolate had great flavor, not overly chocolate-y taste or too much sugar. It tasted nice and light and the gelato and a good consistency. I would recommend this. The Strawberry Cheesecake tasted great as well, there was a creamy taste to it, and the cheesecake taste was not over powering and you tasted strawberry in every bite. I would recommend to order this. I ordered two small cups and they gave a good amount in each, it was equivalent to a double scoop The staff was friendly and knowledgeable on their flavors, there was a line but it moved quick. The ambiance is nice and clean with a modern look. I would definitely recommend to stop here for dessert read more
I personally love the texture of gelato more than ice cream and have been missing the gelato I had in Italy. Yes, this place is on the pricier side, but the quality absolutely makes up for it! They let you sample flavors before deciding, and there's a great variety to suit any craving. You can choose from a cup, a plain waffle cone, or a lined waffle cone with pistachio cream or Nutella. They also have plenty of unique flavors, so there's something for everyone. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and friendly. They even offer a discount if you work in Pasadena! I ordered two scoops: Bacio di Latte and Raspberry. Both tasted incredibly fresh. The Bacio di Latte had a floral note that I really enjoyed. The waffle cone was high quality, crispy, and sturdy. There aren't any tables inside, but there's a small bench area right across from the gelato case where you can sit and enjoy your treat. read more

What I Ordered: -Regular Cup 3 Flavors $8.95 I had heard great things about Bacio di Latte and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. While the price for a small cup is a bit steep, the experience was worth it. It was a sweltering day in the SGV, and I needed something refreshing. What better way to cool off than with some gelato? I'm terrible at making decisions, but Mayrinella was very attentive and helpful in guiding me to the perfect flavors. I ended up with some sorbet. I chose Fragola (Strawberry) and Lampone (Raspberry). They were so refreshing and hit the spot! I will definitely be back to try other flavors. Bacio di Latte was worth every penny! read more

Awww yes! I've been seeing this place pop up all over L.A. so I finally decided to stop by with some friends after brunch. They have many flavors and trying them was a treat. I ended up with a cup cone with a scoop of coffee caramel and cookies and cream. Flavors are sweet. The shop is kind of small but you can take your gelato across the street to the square and eat it there on a nice day. read more
The gelateria was one of the reasons why we wandered around Old Town Pasadena. The space was small, charming, and neat. Gelato | The gelato was rich and luscious, with a slightly smoother texture than other places we have visited. ~Chocolate Pistacchio Crunch - The taste of pistachio was toned down. The chocolate bark bits that added texture made this gelato our favorite, even though it wasn't as heavily pistachio-forward as the plain Pistacchio flavor. ~3 Cioccolati - Incredibly chocolatey. It gave off dark chocolate without the bitterness. ~Peanut Butter Chocolate Caramel - The slight hint of saltiness from the peanut butter was a surprise which reduced the overall sweetness. ~Tiramisu - Not as coffee-flavored than expected. The small chocolate chunks made it enjoyable to eat. Menu: Besides from gelato, affogato, milk shake, and coffee were also served. Service: The friendly employee was knowledgeable about the different gelato flavors. Parking: We parked at the garage, corner of W Union St. and N De Lacey Ave. $2 for the first 15 minutes with a max of $16 daily (as of September 2025). read more

This is 1000% the best gelato I have ever had. Their hazelnut experience flavor and the new pistachio chocolate are quite literally to die for. HOWEVER, their delivery is absolutely lacking on all fronts. I have to pay (extra) for an insulated bag? The gelato is delivered in a compostable container with no sort of refrigeration. It arrived completely melted (duh) even though delivery took less than 15 minutes. The insulated bag o paid extra for is not very insulated. Bacio, please consider dry ice or literally any other way of making sure your goods stay at least semi-cold read more
I checked out this gelato shop for the first time yesterday. I had no idea it was so popular, especially after 9 pm! There were so many people in line to get gelato. I must say I understand why. It is really tasty! The servers are also very friendly. I had the strawberry shortcake flavor and it was perfection! I chose to eat it in a waffle cone and it was enjoyable on my way back to the car. I wish this location had places to sit, but the atmosphere was still pleasant. There are spots to sit while waiting in line and it smells wonderful in the store. The next time I'm in the area, I'll come back! read more

The place is very small and only good for to go. There is not much seating area. I was trying out few of the flavors since they have plenty. The stuff looked impatient, and unhappy. I felt rush to pick out the food. I ordered classic pistachios, chocolate and strawberry. Pistachio was on point, chocolate was also delicious and strawberry was very refreshing. Came around 4pm on a Wednesday afternoon with some friends and stopped by for a quick sweet treat. There was no wait when we came. The shop is small with only seating at the ledge of the windows, but very clean and modern interior. Great variety of flavors and some were innovative and creative! The service was super friendly and let us each try as many as we wanted (I tried 6 flavors!). I appreciated that they didn't make us feel like we were bothering them and seemed genuinely happy to let us try as many as we wanted. I ordered a small piccolo size in a cup for $7.45 before tax and tip, which comes with up to 2 flavors. I opted for the Bacio di Latte, which is a delicious milky sweet cream flavor and their newly released Chocolate Pistachio Crunch. Both were so good! Their gelato is super rich and creamy, with the perfect amount of sweetness and smooth texture. However, I will say that the amount of gelato you get for the price point is really small. They also sell pints that you can take home, as well as affogatos. I recently tried the newly opened Venchi in the Glendale Americana, and I thought the gelato here was better. Overall, definitely an expensive dessert but worth splurging on for high quality gelato. read more

Gelatos are so good that you would want more. The gelatos we got :Mousse di Pistacchio and Baccio de Latte are so creamy and rich that they are the perfect summer combo. There are also pistachios in the Mousse di Pistacchio which enhances the pistacchio. 10/10 Highly recommend getting the Piccolo in pistachio (pistachio coating) that enhances the flavor even further. Quick service and you can do samples to try all of the flavors. Cute interior, but do come early because there will be a long line. read more

First time coming here. I got a Ciocchino waffle cone with Nutella and a scoop of strawberry cheesecake gelato. The gelato was silky and flavorful. You have to be quick about eating it if you get it in a cone because it starts melting fast. I'd suggest getting it in a cup if you want to keep your hands clean. I figured I'd try the Ciocchino because I thought the Nutella would pair well with the strawberry flavor, and honestly, it did. The combo tasted great, but there was just way too much Nutella. I like Nutella, but every bite was so rich it got a little hard to finish. Overall, the gelato was really good. Not sure if it's worth the wait, but I'd come back to try other flavors if it's not busy. read more
I am surprised by the high reviews. We, as a group, did not think this spot was very good. Not only were the scoops very small, it was really expensive. And the gelato was just ok. The place draws you in with the smell of fresh cones and crowds of people. But honestly, it was quite disappointing. Our friends who got a waffle cup said it wasn't crispy but chewy like it had been old or not cooked long enough. read more

BUTTERCREAM PRETZEL. Who knew this flavor was going to be fantastic. I enjoyed it however it did melt quite fast which makes it less enjoyable. I think all the manipulation caused it. I also love that they use clover brand milk, which is on the higher end. Pricy gelato that does not compare to Italy's in any way but better than other frozen options nearby. Nutella was also good. Long lines that move slow. Helpful staff. read more
Bacio di Latte reminds me of Italy because of their fresh gelato's and affogato's. Came across this spot after me and my wife's dinner walking around downtown Pasadena. Saw a long crowd gathered at the establishment and decided to give this place a shot. I order their gelato and my wife ordered the affogato. The overall wait time was about 35-40 minutes (totally worth the wait). Their hazelnut ice cream pistachio covered ice cream tasted like Dubai chocolate ice cream heaven. I got two scoops and I felt like I could've had 4 more. This place gave me trip into memory lane of my Italy trip and how this place is as good or maybe even a little better in terms of taste. My new favorite! Bacio di Latte is a specialty gelato shop with unique and fun flavors. I loved sampling almost all the flavors and deciding my favorites. I love how the staff are kind and even encourage sampling more flavors. The store smells divine and everything tastes as good as it looks! I loved their triple chocolate and holiday biscotti. The cookies and cream is also a memorable favorite. There's so many good options, you definitely have to try, if you haven't been already! read more

Ohmygosh, this gelato was SO good!!! This newish gelato place (about 5 months old now as of July 2025?) popped up in Old Town Pasadena, and my partner wanted to try it after dinner. I love the cute store decor! They feature what ingredients they use and the design is very sleek and clean. Interior was very nice. It's a small shop and the layout makes it hard to see what flavors there are beforehand but there are words-only menus at the entrance. You're able to sample before you buy with no shame, and the workers are very nice and helpful! Here's the flavors we got: -pretzel buttercream -strawberry cheesecake -pistachio -stracciatella -crema Torino The strawberry cheesecake and pretzel buttercream were my absolute favorite!!!! The gelato is so, so creamy! We are definitely coming here again! read more
Bacio di Latte is so good! If you want to experience amazing Italian-style Gelato, then Bacio should be on your go-to list! There are so many delicious flavors that choosing just two is hard (you can always get 3 flavors in a larger cup!). So after trying the Crema Torino, Bacio di Latte, Mousee di Pistaccho, Nutellinwaand a few others, I ended up with the Buttercream pretzel paired with Rosa & Vaniglia. I was staying in the area and was recommended this gelato spot by a friend and it did not disappoint. We came when they opened so not all the flavors were out. I did order the Tiramisu and it was so creamy and the flavors pop! This is definitely one of the best gelatos I've ever had. read more
Serving up creamy gelato, Bacio di latte is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth! The service is friendly and they offer samples before you purchase. I got pistachio and rosa & vaniglia (vanilla), which reminded me of rose water and pistachio, a popular combo in Iran and Turkey in the Middle East. Loved this Gelato spot. We waited about 10 min, well worth it! It has a super cute vibe, and plenty of flavors. I ordered the buttercream pretzel with the chocolate pistachio and also the salted caramel affogato. They were creamy, smooth, perfect! We would gladly be back to try other flavors! This has been my all time fave gelato place for a while now. I always want to come here and since there's lot of hazelnut and pistachio flavors, I'm for it! I got the Chocolate Pistachio Crunch with the optional Pistachio Cream around the cup and on top. The ice cream itself was delicious, it had a really nice pistachio flavor without being too overwhelming, with plenty of crispy caramelized cone pieces and chocolate chunks swirled throughout. I paid a little over $11 for a regular sized cup, which I felt was on the expensive side; a pint is about $15-16 so I think next time I would just get a pint instead read more

Date of visit: March 9, 2025 Selections: Ciocchino cup (hazelnut spread in cup) with crunchy hazelnuts with: Giandujotto (Hazelnut & Chocolate) Pistacchio (Pistachio) Experience: My husband had been wanting to try this place out after we passed by this place when it was closed for the day. So he was pretty excited when we got the chance to check it out after coming from Mass. When we went, there were two parties in front of us. I was personally overwhelmed by the number of selections there were and realizing that I could have already two different flavors for the smallest size they had to offer on top of also having an option to coat your cup in either pistachio or hazelnut spread. We were able to sample flavors before committing to them, so I ended up trying Giandujotto (Hazelnut & Chocolate) and Pistacchio (Pistachio), which were the two flavors I got in a Ciocchino cup (hazelnut spread in cup) with crunchy hazelnuts. I love how creamy the ice cream is and how fresh they tasted in a sense of not being artificially flavored. While we were mid-order, a line started forming behind us, so I was super glad we got in before the rush and that there was a back exit near the cashier station that we could get out of since the store is pretty small. We got here on a Saturday night and there is a line. You can sample before you order but the lady assisting us wasn't the friendliest. We tried the full hazelnut experience in a sugar cone (but should've gotten the waffle bowl) and we opted to coat it with pistachio cream (you can also have crushed pistachios on top). It's very creamy and they claim to use organic milk! It's a little too sweet for us but overall the creaminess won us over. Quick tip: they have a QR code you can scan to see the menu while you wait in line. read more
