The rose vanilla flavor was good. I would definitely come back and get it again. But, I don't think the employee that helped me knows what tiramisu is. I was given some type of chocolate gelato and when I tried to correct them they insisted it was tiramisu and looked annoyed about it. My husband saw another customer ask for a sample and when they exclaimed that it was chocolate, the employee stated tiramisu contained chocolate, and while it is dusted with chocolate it is usually a cream gelato. But it was 100% a chocolate gelato which I actually hate, I couldn't eat it. The Rancho Cucamonga and Newport Beach Bacio di Latte have both correctly given me tiramisu. I don't know if the employee was confused or if they make the tiramisu gelato differently at this shop. But I went through the pictures posted by others and it looked like tiramisu and not the chocolate gelato that was given to me. My husband ordered an Americano and the strawberry shortcake. The espresso mixed with the intensity of the chocolate was the perfect kick to the day! I loved how the chocolate added so much richness in flavor to the espresso, I'd definitely order it again! We have been here numerous times and never have a bad experience. Staffs are always friendly and gelatos are best in town. People come in waves. If there's a long line, try to come back later. I first tried Bacio di Latte when we went to Italy last year, so I was so excited (and honestly surprised) to find out we have one here in Pasadena! The line was pretty long -- we waited about 40 minutes to be exact -- but it moved steadily and honestly built up the anticipation. I got the coffee caramel flavor (I forgot the exact name ) and it was absolutely delicious. Super creamy, rich, and not overly sweet. You can really taste the quality. My husband got the hazelnut flavor and he loved it -- very smooth and full of flavor. We also got our cones dipped in Nutella and pistachios, which made it even better. The added crunch and chocolate coating took it to another level. Even with the long wait, I have no complaints at all. It was 100% worth it.
