As soon as we walked in, I immediately needed to use the restroom, and she was kind enough to give me the password before we had even ordered. When I came back, she offered us samples, and they were actually nice-sized samples, enough for my boyfriend and me to really experience the different flavors. I got embarrassed asking to try more than two, but she was so kind and patient about it. I'm glad she encouraged us to sample them because we ended up getting the trio-flavor waffle cone. Most poké places I've been too won't do this as an extra step - they'll just drizzle a bunch of sauce that sometimes the dry ingredients gets drenched and soggy. Bacio di Latte in Pasadena is a fun little gelato spot with a charming vibe and plenty of delicious flavors to choose from. The gelato is super soft, creamy, and smooth. The line was pretty long when we went on a Saturday night, but that just shows how popular it is. Despite the wait, the staff kept things moving and were really friendly when it was our turn and let us sample everything we were curious about. The space inside is pretty small, so don't expect to hang out there. You can take your gelato outside and enjoy the warm Pasadena night's air. It's a great place for a date night dessert or a weekend treat with friends. The portions aren't huge, but they're satisfying. It's not the cheapest option, but it feels like a nice indulgence. If you like gelato that tastes like it was crafted with care, this is your spot. read more
