Mediterranean salad
Tom G.

Came here for a bite to eat, a cold drink, and some live music and wasn't disappointed by any of it. Had no problem getting seats at the bar and we were taken care of right away. They also had options for table seating indoors and out. Bar has a great Irish beer hall kind of vibe to it that definitely brought me back some fond memories. Cocktail to start was the Bozeman fog, basically a boozie London fog, that was quite tasty, but could have been shaken a little better. We split the hunter fries and the Mediterranean salad. The fries were basically a pouting that would even make a French Canadian blush with a delicious brown gravy, you can't go wrong. Salad was nice and fresh, and definitely a much needed lighter complement to the heavier fries.

Service: You seat yourself which can be a little confusing for some people. The servers are doing the best they can figuring out who comes in and who will be taking care of them. The service itself is fine as long as you don't need anything else. Food: I ordered the fish sandwich and it was bland. The breaded fish had absolutely no flavor. The only discernible flavor came from the coleslaw. I would not order this again. They did include an absolute heap of fries. My husband got a hit dog with curry and he did enjoy that. Ambiance: It's a pub. Nothing stands out about it. I would recommend this place only for drinks . They also have a nice sunny patio.

Having a stop over in Bozeman before heading home we were wandering around downtown. We stopped here for an earlier dinner. It was warm and sunny so we sat outside. We were served pretty quickly by a super friendly server. We ordered some sandwiches and got them fairly quickly. The turkey club was delicious. Very fresh and tasty. The sweet potato fries were very crispy. My husband kept saying his burger was delicious. It was thick and juicy. He could barely finish it!

French Onion soup - so good!

Still one of our favorite little bars in Bozeman in the beautiful historic hotel. Stopped in today after doing a little shopping on Main Street. I got a hot toddy with Willie's. Bourbon,- a local one from Ennis, Montana. It was really good. My husband got a local Midas Crush IPA by MAP Brewing, which has been one of his favorites this trip. We were there for Happy Hour, 3-to 6 pm Sun-Thur. Food looked and smelled good, but didn't eat this time. Always a relaxing stop.

Flavor, Flavor, Flavor! Saturday night, date night, Bacchus Pub had a nice atmosphere, a great menu and even better food. My top picks, Bangers and Mash and the Beef Stew. Everything was super tasty and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

One thing about me is I love an Irish pub and this one was so cute! It was packed for lunch on the weekend. They have a decently large menu and a lot of local beers on draft. My fiancé and I split the curry fries, which were different than normal irish pub curry fries. It was a thick sauce with a spice. They were really good for something different. I feel like I made a mistake of getting the pub burger as it was just alright and the people next to us got the fish and chips which looked so good and was a large portion. My fiancé had the Shepard pie which was also great. The chips were also a little to burnt for my likening.

Definitely a laid-back place. I guess you could call it very chill. Sat on the patio, which is along the sidewalk. Would recommend a few more umbrellas. Service was good. They were always asking if you needed anything else or if everything was OK. Food was average. Enter in through the hotel lobby, which is pretty cool.

Food here is very good. Wings are amazing and the burgers are the best around. Got to have the pretzel!! To add further, our waitress was very pleasant, had an amazing smile and added to the entire experience of the restaurant. I will be returning every time I'm in Bozeman!

Bison burger

Typical Pub: What did we order: - bison burger - old fashioned Ambiance: typical bar atmosphere I'd return, food was great and service was good!!! I'd skip on the old fashioned but would re order the bison burger!

Turkey club sandwich with battered fries with their signature curry dipping sauce.

Although Bacchus Pub is a simple pub with sports screens on every wall, the food here is great. We enjoyed their turkey club sandwich ($16) that was piled high with sliced turkey, bacon and cheese. Really tasty and a good value. The real highlight, though, are their battered fries. Ask for a 50 cent upgrade to get the curry dipping sauce. Easily the best fries in Bozeman. Friendly service.

Don't get the cheese board! You get about 5 dollars worth of food for 13.95! Barely an appetizer for one let alone 2 people...

The food is delicious, however, the faces in the wood terrified me. They've stayed with me in my dreams. 3 well deserved stars

When we came in at around 4pm, there seemed to be plenty of tables available but after an hour, the place quickly filled up. Vibes/Service: Parking lot in the back and it seemed there was some street parking available as well. Many, many tables available with bar seating as well. It can certainly fit a larger group. Great service from our server. Checked on us often and filled up our waters. Food: Because it was our first meal here, we wanted to try out their staple dishes. -Bison Potstickers ($16): 5 pieces topped with mango and garlic chili sauce and served with some coleslaw. Rich and filling, paired well with the sauce. Would order this again! -Bison Patty Melt ($22): it was my first time eating Bison, the waiter suggested medium rare. It looked more red than I usually like but it actually was juicy and tasty-- I guess this is the difference between a regular beef patty. I'd also order this again. -Served with pepper parmesan fries which was so uniquely food. Fries were fresh. -Huckleberry Cream Ale ($8/pint) paired well with my meal.

My server knew the special menu, regular menu and drinks very well. I ordered the bison patty melt and tots for the meal and the Bridger Hazy IPA for the drink. The bartender recommended the IPA and it was excellent. The homemade tots were great. A shredded potato in the middle, nice and creamy and crunchy exterior. Feedback was there were only 5 on the plate. Definitely could use more. The bison patty met was perfectly cooked. A lot of folks overcook and dry out the bison. It was perfectly medium and juicy. Feedback would be a little char on the patty would be great. The service really tailed off in the end, it was not super busy and they had about 5 servers behind the bar. I sat there for at least 15 min until another bar tender asked if I wanted another brew and my server came about 5 to 10 later to attend to things.

We had the FRITES & FONDUE for an appetizer, fries were great, the Parmesan was a nice touch and the fondue didn't have a lot of flavor. Our entrees were served hot, packed with flavor & the pasta was cooked al dente. We both loved the our entrees, as we continued our meal seeing all the other entrees going to tables we are excited to come back to try the vast options on the menu. The cheesecake was delicious & fresh we truly appreciate the quality & taste of desserts being made in house- you can tell the difference & it is absolutely worth it. We will be back, it may be over an hour drive for us but a drive well worth it.

We started with the beet and burrata salad, which was full of yummy complimenting flavors and fun textures. I think it could have done without the yellow peppers but I just ate around those. The pepitas with the pistachio butter and beets were excellent, and the burrata added a creamy touch. We also tried the frites and fondue. The fries were thick and browned how I like them, but the fondue wasn't my favorite and was a little too overpowering in flavor for my taste. The parmesan on top of the fries was a nice touch. For beverages I had a local pale ale from Bridger brewing that was crisp and went well with the meal, and my partner tried the rotations shrub (peach), which she said was just okay. The star of the show was the arrabiata pasta made with vodka sauce and Calabrian chilis. The pasta was cooked perfectly Al dente and was well sauced, truly delicious. The ambiance is nice, and the service was fine. They checked on us frequently but not entirely friendly, maybe our waitress was having a bad day. The meal was a little on the pricier side but I felt the happy hour prices were fair. We would return when visiting Bozeman.

**November 2025: Saturday Night**…read more My mom and I were looking for a spot to enjoy dinner that had parking. We drove around downtown Bozeman for a good 30 minutes, and didn't have any luck in securing parking. I found Mountain Walking Brewery and thought I'd take a chance and prayed that there would be a lot or that I would be super lucky with street parking. We were in luck and there was one very small spot near the front of the restaurant - hallelujah! The restaurant was poppin' - almost every table was taken, but we were offered bar seating and we gladly accepted. After purusing through the menu I decided that we should try a variety of items including a side of Brussels sprouts, Bowl of Bison Chili, and a Fig and Arugula Pizza. Service was quick and we got all our items in a pretty timely manner. The pizza had a really great crust the dough had a nice bounce to it. I think for me they were a tad overly generous with the balsamic vinegar glaze which made the pizza quite salty. I would definitely order a pizza again but perhaps the Margherita or the Carnivore. The bison chili was a good standard bowl and the brussel sprouts while crispy was also very salty - I think it was definitely over dressed, but maybe since the majority of patrons were drinkin the salty foods would pair well. Seems like a fun place to hang out, but for me I'd probably pick anything that doesn't have glaze or soy sauce.

Just a few seconds after sitting, someone was at our table with waters and the menu. Talk about fast and efficient service. When our actual server arrived, she was super friendly and hospitable. She made it feel like we were regulars and I loved that. And the cocktails? Superb. Absolutely incredible, every single one of them. And that coconut lime rickey? I understand why people rave about it. Perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. I also want to point out how quick the cocktails came out to us. I was so surprised we didn't have to wait long at all, even though this place was pretty full and they were pretty busy at the bar.
