It's now a seat-yourself, order-at-the-counter, take-number concept, which in and of itself is fine. But we ended up paying the same prices for next to no service. The cocktails are now all entirely batched and not good at all, just tasted like sugar and some mixers. This is especially disappointing as we really loved the cocktails before. We've been patronizing this restaurant for a while and they've always have pretty good service and food. This time around we decided to eat at their open patio which is covered and heated. They do temperature checks, social distancing, everyone wore a mask. During our time here our waitress was very nice and attentive. Yep its us again! Mi Amor has been stalking this place and finally got the entire family there and it did NOT disappoint! The girls ordered milkshakes (strawberry, curious (caramel apple right now yum!), and non dairy). All three of them said they were amazing! I took sips of all of them and equally agree, although the texture of the non dairy is not as creamy (go figure lol) but I did not find myself missing the "milk" of the milkshake. Mi Amor and I both had smash burgers (me a single, him a double) with our favorite toppings. My burger was HUGE probably because of all my toppings but it was delicious! The fries are some of the BEST fries I've ever had! They're shoestring style and were nice and crisp! For a drink we both had making herstory's. I visited Baby'a for their famous Drag Brunch during Pride Month! This event was special because this was the first time the performers performed together in about 10+ years I believe. If you want to go to a drag brunch (they're only once a month) follow baby's on Instagram, they share the details there. Now on to the food and experience. We entered the space and were seated immediately. Drag Brunch has a set menu so they asked if we had dietary restrictions and what drinks we wanted then the food came. The loaded fries are amazing. They were so good I wish I had my own plate. The fried chicken sandwich was okay. I got ranch instead of the white bbq sauce and that helped but it wasn't anything special. The milkshake was good. I liked the chocolate more than the curious (it was like a cotton candy flavor). They both were very flavorful and the right amount of thickness. The show was nice. The performers lip synced and some danced. Oh and make sure you bring some cash because you have to/should tip.
