This has been on my to-try list for a while and I got the opportunity yesterday for my work team's holiday lunch/gift exchange. We had a group of 9 and had to wait a bit to be seated but it was no issue. Our server was very prompt and professional with the service. It didn't take long to order and receive our drinks. Since we were there for lunch, we skipped apps and just had entrees. They had a few vegetarian options! After confirming with the server that their "vegetarian" patty (that's how it's listed on the menu) was from the Beyond brand, I opted to get the Turkey Chipotle with that substitution. Most of their entrees come with 1-2 sides. I chose the spicy garlic cauliflower. It was a huge serving and way too much for lunch lol I had to take some to go. The burger was well flavored and messy due to all of the sauce/toppings but the highlight was the cauliflower! I honestly could've just had that and a side of fries. We stopped by Sahm's for lunch today--a place we've visited many times over the years, so we had a pretty good idea of what to expect. As usual, it was busy and a bit noisy during the lunch rush. The food was good, but it didn't quite live up to the high standard we've experienced in the past. The flavors just weren't as strong or memorable as before. What used to feel like an A+ experience now lands somewhere between an A- and B+. We'll still return, just probably not as often as we once did. read more

So last night was our second time having dinner here and they have wonderful food. I took one star away because service could be a little better. That said their service is better than most. They have some great fried chicken, mashed potatoes were good too. Loved the cornbread but I will warn it's super dense and more like a cake taste which is fine with me because I like sweet cornbread. They have a great wedge salad. Meatloaf is not bad. It does seem that most everything they make is fresh which is an unheard of concept anymore so we love that. Like any other place hosts aren't trained very well and they like to herd people all into one concentrated area which we don't like. We both forgot our wallets which has never happened before but the good news is if you have cards in your Apple wallet they will work on the readers they use table side. I saw on the table they are doing an Easter Brunch buffet and are taking reservations for that now. The menu looked great for that event and we are considering taking our Mom but I was hoping they would have that good fried chicken on that menu but it wasn't. Neither time we have been there has a manager been to our table but if they had stopped by they would have heard that we are fans! They also have some sort of rewards you can signup for. Please try out their amazing wings! They have been having wknd specials which is 12 wings for $10. Flats and dummies mix and you can pick 2 flavors. Extra crispy cooked to perfection. Went to the Sahm's off 116 and Allisonville to meet a friend for lunch on Monday / workday. We got seated right away. I used to visit another when they had the locatoin near 69th & 96th, but hadn't been to this location. I opted for my pre house favorite, the Buffalo chicken sandwich. And I was going to get the fried mushrooms that I remembered loving, but I saw the special side was fried green tomatoes, so I opted for that. Both, sooo good! Service is TOP NOTCH!!! Stick to the American cuisine. Tenderloins are a great classic sandwich that you'll never go wrong with (unless they put mayo on the bun and your wife hates mayo!). Salad with chicken whether it's grilled or breaded chicken is a good fresh option that will fill you up. Clam chowder was very tasty. If there's anything to maybe consider, the Baja tacos were nice, but not that special. Pecan pound coffee cake served with salad is also kind of interesting. Atmosphere is nice. Sahms is a great family oriented place. The facility is large as is the menu. You will find something for everyone in your party here. Our large group felt very welcomed and comfortable. We had an outstanding wait team. All were very friendly and worked to serve our group well!! I had the breaded tenderloin and onion rings for my meal. The onion rings were built on a thin piece of onion. The breading is moderately thin with a slight spice. The ring is thin enough that it hooks itself to the other rings. You will probably find the ring a bit greasy.,,but delicious! The breaded tenderloin was excellent. The Pattie is large and easily over hangs the bun. The meat is a bit thick so it hasn't been beaten to death. It was very moist and tasty. The breading is light, has a moderate amount of thickness and a slight crunch. The sandwich came with a good selection of garnishments. Overall the tenderloin was outstanding! If you have a large party, kids or just want a good solid meal...give Sahm's a try!! read more

We stopped in at 3:30 on a Sunday and it was close to 1/4th full. Bar was hopping. Restaurant atmosphere was nice. Staff was stretched hustling to clean up from an apparent strong lunch crowd and getting ready for a dinner crowd but were still attentive. We got our food really quick. Food was great! I had the spinach dip and my spouse had the French dip. Good for families and larger groups. No outdoor seating that we saw. read more

On our most recent visit, we sat at the bar where Jenny took great care of us. The friendly service and tasty food always brings us back! Well we actually went for Easter Brunch. We had a reservation, we were early but sat immediately, and greater by our server . Food was decent but learned it was catering from an outside company BUT I understand the reasoning being they don't specialize in breakfast . Stopped here for dinner last minute. Unlike many places in Fishers I was able to be sat right away. Our sever came over quickly and took drink orders. I was waiting for someone to join and told her to be on the look out for that person and then we would order (I already knew what they wanted). As soon as that person arrived she quickly came over to confirm I was ready to put the order in. The server came over and check on us frequently, but not too frequently. If she saw us in conversation she kept walking. Some servers will just come and ask if you need anything not reading the room. I ordered a Salmon Greek Salad. It was okay. Nothing overly amazing, but not bad either. It was mostly lettuce with little toppings but the Salmon was a nice size and cooked well. It was a bit of an older crowd and it's a little dark inside but I think that is intended, just not my style, I like more light and airy but for what it is, I think it is fine. The only complaint I really have is there was food all over the carpets all over. I mean in the entry, to at the various tables, to the bathroom, I mean just so much food. Not sure I have ever seen a place with so much food on the floors. Seems like someone would vacuum in between times, maybe they were short staffed, not sure but it doesn't make you really want to eat there if the floor is an indication of what it may look like in the kitchen. We ordered the take out holiday meal for 8 offered this past week and were extremely pleased at the overall package of sliced ham, green been casserole, turkey ball dressing, roasted broccoli, walnut salad with creamy dressing , cranberry sauce and powdered shortcake! The pre-scheduled pickup times and locations were very efficient and convenient, the trays and instructions made for quick and easy reheat, the food amounts were plentiful and it was all very delicious!! Friendly service and reliably good meals. There's almost too much to choose from in the menu. If you can't find something good on their menu, then you aren't hungry. Friends of mine know I was at a very opinion palms restaurant. But even after the less than stellar experience I had last time the food was so good! So I tried it again Food even better than it was before. And the wait staff was super friendly and on point. I have a fabulous Irish coffee more than I expected delicious lol... Had lunch, crowd was not bad, no wait. Plenty of parking in this small strip mall. Sahms has it regular menu and then a special menu. Always check the specials, I order from it about half the time. Today I ordered from it and had the cashew encrusted tilapia. It came with rice pilaf, seasonal veggie, which was Brussel sprout with balsamic vinegar. It also came with a side salad but they let me substitute a cup of chicken velvet soup. I started with the soup, it was good but a little too salty for me. I typically have had fish encrusted with pecans so the cashews were a nice twist. It had a gravy or gel on top, it was quite delicious. The Brussel sprouts were a nice surprise and very tasty. Sahm's caters to a decidedly older crowd and I had to remind myself I'm middle-aged now after all. I think part of the attraction is this is a place where folks feel like they are definitely getting bang for their buck. No minimalism here! Entrees, including a good number of specials, come with two hefty sides, which makes for a lot of food. The menu is an eclectic mix of American food, including a standard melting pot of borrowed ethnic-ish (Mex-, Italian-, and Asian-) inspired dishes. But whether it's the specials menu or the list of sides or the whole menu in general, there's just a ton to choose from. I ordered the Mediterranean Salmon; the fish is wood-grilled with sautéed artichoke hearts, tomatoes, feta, capers and Kalamata olives in a lemony beurre blanc. One side was a loaded baked potato presented on the entree plate and the other an iceberg wedge, which was hefty for a side salad. I left overly stuffed because I didn't have the will power to box half of it. My dining partner had the Chicken Avocado, a Tex Mex type preparation, which came with at least a half an avocado on top, a pleasant surprise. Food is seasoned for the age of the crowd (we lose tastebuds especially for salt as we age--LOL!) so there's nothing subtle here. It's full bore in the flavor department. Wait staff is friendly and moderately attentive; it was a busy Friday night. Prices are extremely reasonable with entrees priced $14.99-20.99. Typically I am one that is finicky about my bacon. I hate when bacon isn't cooked enough and is chewy. This burger did not disappoint! And the onion ring was the perfect added crunch. The burger was very juicy and flavorful. At the time I wasn't even that hungry but I ended up eating the whole thing because it was that good. The fries were nice and crispy as well! We came into Sahm's tonight after a very HOT but fun time at PumpkinTown just down the road. We had 5 adults and 5 kids (all 5 years and under) - which we know can be a lot. The team at Sahm's tonight was beyond stellar and lead by our girl, Trisha. I'm not sure the names of everyone else who was assisting her, but positive experience from every interaction. I've been on a real tenderloin kick lately, so I gave the one at Sahm's a try. I liked the bun it came on- really soft and fresh. The tenderloin itself wasn't huge, but still just large enough that you could fold it in half. It arrived piping hot, and just a little bit more greasy than I would have preferred. A moment or two on a paper towel would have done the trick. The first couple of bites had some gristle in them, so it didn't start off strong. Once I got past that, the rest of the sandwich had a decent flavor. (As usual, I had it with mustard and jalapeños.) The fries were natural cut (skin still on them), which I normally like, but these were really crispy. When I tried to use a fork many of them broke apart because they were too crispy. I'm deducting some points for the grease and gristle, but also keeping in mind that this could have been a fluke. It was good enough that I'd try it again and see what happens next time. I'd say this was a solid 3.5, and could be a 4. Service was ok. My waitress didn't know if they had jalapeños or not, but they showed up with my food. My drink went dry and it took a little while to get a refill. Nothing major. read more
