Omg ! From Chicago all the way to Dearborn for amazing Lebanese food! I am So mad I did not take any pictures but I was so hungry I forgot to take . We ordered the babas for 2 . We actually had 4 people and had food left over ! The bread was so soft and fresh and hot when it was served . The hummus was exceptionally good . Editing a previous review....ordered through door dash business screwed up my order. When I called back the staff were rude and claimed they dont participate in delivery. Never again one of the few places in the area - if not the only outside of a market that serves dandelion. Food is excellent - the dandelion isn't bitter or over cooked. We stopped here for the first time this evening for dinner and were greeted and served by Abier who was so welcoming and accommodating. The food was amazing. The portions were very generous and the place is very clean. It's great for families. Our 15 month old daughter was a huge fan of the lentil soup. The service was a great as the food. Some of the best food I have ever had. The food here is a step above, and with so many option for good food in Dearborn this place stands out. The only response I had to my waiter when asked how is it "delicious" as I stuffed my face. The prices are very fair considering how much food you're given. Wow!!!! We came here for lunch and everything from the hot out of the oven pita bread with garlic to our shawarma sandwiches were Amazing. Let me first say I moved out of state years back and found that I had been spoiled by Dearborn's rich Middle Eastern community and I've missed their cuisine. My first day back for a visit I searched yelp, the reviews seemed good so we settled on Baba's Grill. I'm happy we did! The chicken was so moist and full of flavor making the chicken shawarma sandwich tender and delicious. As expected the salad was incredibly fresh and well dressed. The server was very kind and attentive. I highly recommend this place!!! I'm hoping to make it back before I leave. read more

This place came recommend by a friend of a friend who works and lives is the community so I had to try. O yea! The food is good! ( first visit here)Arrived on a Tuesday at 4pm. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and staff is nice. I ordered one of my fav dishes half deboned chicken w/ all with meat with rice pilaf and fatoosh salad w/ bread. Everything was lovely. They serve sautéed mushrooms to their deboned chicken and season it with red peppers. Oh my!Delish! A side of garlic and hummus was prepared very well not flat or loose just right. I will return again soon to order more from the menu. I wanted to give the place 4 stars but want to try more from the menu. A definite will return. Oh and the bread was the bomb.com lol read more

Wow! Go here. Order the Baba's for 2. Go here! I thought we'd had all the good Lebanese food. This place had us wondering "is this the best we've EVER had"?? The meat was the most tender and had great flavorful. They use filet for the kabobs. Ours was cooked prefectly. The rice had the ground beef/lamb in it not sure which but tasted great. The lentil soup was great. They gave us a ton of tabouli and the dressing wasn't overly sour. They have the oven baked pitas. From the outside this place looks pretty casual with the awning and sign that's got a few burned out lights. If not for yelp we would have overlooked this place. The inside isn't fancy but it was prefect for our 3 kids. Not a romantic spot or anything. We will drive to Dearborn to go back for the amazing food. read more

So you walk in beneath the LED sign, and it looks like a normal restaurant. Inside, though.... a delicious heaven. I brought a few new friends with me from Chicago who were looking for a unique food experience. We'd discussed that Middle Eastern in Dearborn was where it's at. I opened the menu, and saw Fettucini Alfredo as an option. I got concerned about the authenticity of this place. As I was explaining the different appetizer choices to my brother, our waitress appeared like an angel with hummus, tabbouleh, baba, and a fattoush salad, as well as olives, garlic sauce, and bread. Yes, I was in heaven. We then went on to order our meals (because, stupid us, we thought we would be hungry). Falafel, Gallayah of both beef and chicken, and shish tawook were ordered. Needless to say after the baba, hummus, and tabbouleh were devoured, we were stuffed. Our waitress needs a separate paragraph. She was kind, attentive, and explained food ingredients to our group as we were blown away by the taste of the baba and the fattoush salad, which had popping flavors (from the smoked tahini and the mint, respectively). She brought all the appetizers by without us ordering anything, and on top of that, did not charge us for anything! We were 4 of the 6 people in the restaurant for 2 hours, but she certainly did not need to do that. On our way out, the ladies who were cooking in the kitchen were so pleased to send us home with 2 bags of takeout and thrilled we enjoyed our experience and food so much. I know my complaint is only about a dollar but I don't like paying for something I didn't order. Told to where to sit and was ignored for a quite a while others were taken care of first. I started to leave but she finally came over and took my order. I didn't order my soda at that time because I'll drink it all before I get my meal. Anyway, she brought my soup and a bottled water. I didn't order water so thought it came that way instead of in a glass because of Covid. Food was generous and good. Since she brought me water, I didn't order my soda. To my surprise, she charged me $1 for the water. When I paid the cashier, I told her I didn't order bottled water. She said "but you drank it". What a scam. The are ton of other Mediterranean restaurants in Dearborn where water is complimentary and the food is just as good or better. I won't be back to this one. read more

Okay so this place upon entering is very welcoming, as soon as you walk in you are greeted and seated. The decor was very good, clean and they also had baby chairs. As soon as we sat down we were given the menu, before we had a proper chance to look at the menu we were asked if we ready to order. It was less two minutes, and with the waitress hovering over us we had to decide what to get. While we were waiting they gave us complimentary bread, pickles and garlic sauce. The bread was cold, we liked the garlic sauce though. It was the best we've had so far, fluffy, tart and not too heavy on the garlic. For our appetiser we orderd spicy potatoes, it tasted as if it had been refried to be honest. For the main, we ordered Filet Mignon and the chicken Pollo Piccata, we got options of sides. We ordered the chicken soup and mashed potatoes, the chicken soup was pretty good, nice texture and tasty. The mashed patatoes came on a separate plate, again cold. The steak was pretty good but I was never asked how I want it cooked though. It was really greasy with too much oil from the fried onions and mushrooms that ruined it. It just didn't make sense to have so much oil on the plate, they could have put the mashed patatoes on the same plate as the steak. The chicken well it wasn't cold, but again was really greasy and had a really weird texture like sponge. Overall there was just too much oil in the food, seemed there were a few shortcuts taken. The service seemed rushed, even though the restaurant was pretty empty. Our bill came up to around $45.00, for this much the quality of the food wasn't really worth it. The items we liked were soup, garlic sauce, decor and it was clean. Don't think we will be going back for another visit, can't recommend this place. read more

The two stars is for the free hot pita bread they give you upon arrival. I ordered the Chicken Shwarma and its not good at all, the chicken is dry and parts pf ot was so dry it was crunchy and its really little real little i never seen them this size before. The place is nice in the Inside but i will not be coming back. Oh if you order a pop or soda it comes in a can. I was brought out a warm glass of water two thin pieces of ice had to ask for ice i never had that happen before anywhere! The service is ok i guess but its a bit slow i waited 15 minutes or more for a Shwarma the place wasnt filled. I just know i wont go back there! read more

Bland Falafel, no gusto. Hummus is all Tahini. Ordered a small Hummus and received a medium. I paid way more for the side of Hummus than I paid for my sandwich. Good food and usually right on point with the kabob. Personally I love the falafel they are so light, and flavorful. I'd say by far one of the best falafel restaurants out there if you're interested! Usually really busy at certain times of the day to the point where there's no parking. read more
