Place was packed for opening day. I only had one kind of beer but it was so good I ordered it twice- the rye ale. Really enjoyed it. Looking forward to more. It was a little loud, just like its predecessor.

Previously known as Infusion Brewery, this establishment is under new ownership and brew their own beers. The inside looks pretty much the same and everything was nice and clean. There was a selection of beard games to play under a coffee table, we brought our own chess game. The background music was not too loud for customers to hold a relaxed conversation. They had wine, cocktails and home brewed beer along with a little selection of non alcoholic beers. The bartender was nice and explained the beers available and flavor characteristics. I personally loved a German Wheat beer, it was nice and refreshing for a hot summer day. I do dare to say that I enjoyed it just as much as Infusion or more!

The selection skews towards IPAs but they generally have something for everyone. Each beer can come in different sizes depending how committed you are to trying a certain beer or just want a 5 ounce sampler. Food options here consist of some pretzel available to purchase but there is typically a food truck outside to help fill your stomach if you plan on staying awhile. The staff are not your typical bar staff but beer enthusiasts who are willing to wait on you hand and foot. The service is really top tier, the beers come out quick and they're always making their rounds to get your next drink.

The inside is very clean and simple - a nice, bright place to have a few drinks and chat with friends. The patio is great too when it's nice outside. All their brews are fabulous in my experience. My favorites are Great Plains Lager and the Cairns Pilsner (I am a fan of lighter beers if you couldn't tell). They have lots of different beer styles from Kölsches to Dunkels, and IPAs to Ales. So you'll definitely find something you like. They sell Kringles flavored pretzels for snacking on, or at least they did when I went last. Love those! Aside from that, they have food trucks that post up there as well, so definitely check their schedule to see who will be there when you want to go. For a local brewery, they have a pretty solid lineup of different brews, so I'd definitely check them out if you're in the Millard area!

It was a busy night and we were a bigger group, but we were still able to grab a table. Just a heads up, there isn't a ton of seating for bigger groups, so we felt lucky to find a spot! There were only one or two servers working, so we were ready to be patient and expect a wait, but they were so quick! I was impressed with their service. I also loved that you can try smaller tasters of their beers before committing to a full one. I had a taster of their raspberry hibiscus saison and a refreshing lager. All the pizzas we tried were so good! I was honestly surprised by how many interesting combinations they offer. The buffalo chicken was my favorite! Already planning to be back.

They have a room to the side that is perfect for birthday parties, celebrations come on any other events! The interior of the restaurant is unique and cool. I was told that a lot of it was sourced from an old church.

So the actual total was really $74.50. At the bottom of the bill was the Suggested Tip: 30% @ $28.95, 25% @ $24.12, and 20% @ $19.30. These Tip amounts are based on the false $96.50, not the actual $74.50. Now this might look like a clear case of FRAUDING a customer. So check your receipts carefully. I actually fell in love with their Grand Cru back in 2007. It used to be a must-visit spot whenever I was passing through Omaha. Truth be told this latest visit felt a bit sad. The place just seems tired these days. The beers were okay but nothing really stood out on the creative side. They did have that Space Monkey Biermosa on the board but it just did not sound appealing to me. The food was decent enough. I ordered the jambalaya and it was pretty good. It had some nice subtle heat and the shrimp were cooked well. My wife went with the Mediterranean chicken but it was a bit of a letdown. It was dry and frankly quite bland. My son had the Blonde pizza and he did not have any complaints about his choice. I really hope they find some new fire soon. It feels like things are trending in the wrong direction every time I stop by. On the bright side our waiter with the red hair was an absolute rockstar. He provided great service and was definitely the highlight of the night. I wish I had remembered his name. We will see if we stop by next time we are on the road.

The standalone location in Legacy had a cool vibe with great staff who were eager to assist you in any way they can (filling waters, asking if you need more drinks, anything taken away, etc). The Westroads/Flagship Commons spot had none of that charm and service. It is very much a food court vibe for the exact same price that you'd pay at the actual restaurant. When we visited during holiday shopping recently, there was maybe one table seated in their little dining area. We thought we'd save everyone a trip and order at the front, which it appeared you could do. We asked two girls behind the counter if we could just choose a table in their (basically completely empty) seating area to wait for our food. And they said that you're not allowed to sit in this area (even if it's completely empty) if you didn't sit down in that area to have a server take your order. I've never hear of such an asinine policy in my life. I'm paying the same amount (and tipping the same), but I'm not allowed to sit in your dining area because I saved someone a trip and order myself at the front counter? What in the absolute world?? So we took our food and ate it in the communal area of Flagship Commons, which I'm not above doing or anything - I was just very annoyed by the Blatt seating policy (if you couldn't tell yet!) The food was also not on par here than with their brick and mortar locations. Maybe because they don't have as large of a kitchen to make everything from scratch or something, but again - paying the same as at the physical location in Legacy for lesser quality food. Is there a convenience of having this version of Blatt right in the little food court at the mall? I guess, but it's not worth it to me after this experience.

We were being driven to the Orleans Room for their Reuben, which was excellent by the way. I can't say the same for the Crescent Moon sandwich. Crescent Moon is actually just kitty corner of the Orleans Room, so the walk was short. It is basically a dive which is fine, we expected that by the Uber driver's comments. The Deep Fried Pickles were excellent. The three ciders that our daughter sampled were not pleasing to her, so she had a cocktail. I had a Sierra Nevada Pilsner, which was fine. But the Reubens, and why we came, were awful. Our daughter, said it best when the sandwich had a mayonnaise texture. I realized the 1000 dressing that was served on the Reuben was too heavy of mayo. The presentation was also terrible. Open them up so we can see the inside of the sandwich, and both slices of the bread were broken...as you can see on the pics. We packaged the sandwiches to go as were were planning to be on a plane the next day back to Oregon. We intentionally left them at the table. They were that bad. Zoe was a pleasant BT/Server who was available whenever we needed her. But food is why we went there, and it was not good.
