When I signed the contract, Alert 360 sent Mark out to check out the system (at no cost to me). Mark checked everything to make sure it was all working properly. He was really helpful in educating me on the system - the distress call, the fire call, the panic call, he helped me change the code, he taught me tips on the keypad, he e-mailed me the long lost manual so I would have it. I feel in charge now!! Thanks for your patience and kindness in helping me Mark :) The system works as it is supposed to and is easy to operate.

There was NO pressure, Jared answered all my many questions, and we are very pleased with the package we selected. He didn't try to push products on us that we didn't need, and was very honest about why he would and would not recommend different products for us. The installer was friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job. We haven't had any issues with our system in the year since we had it installed. We can't speak highly enough of Jared and the folks at Tekna! They will take good care of you!

I have a technology background and from the very start I could tell Jared understood my needs and suggested the route I should go and what equipment I might need. I told him I wanted 6 hard wired cameras / 2 security panels / 2 smart thermostats / a smoke detector tied into their system and my 2 smart locks linked as well. He actually talked me out of one panel which saved me a bunch of money and am super happy as I use the app most of the time bs the actual panel. They came and finished the install in one day as promised and now I can monitor front / sides and the back of the house, open the front and the garage door remotely, turn the heat or A/C on and off, be notified of a fire and actually asked about a carbon monoxide detector while install guy was here and that is now also installed. All the doors and windows had sensors and they tested them all including the shatter glass sensors I had. They will also be doing the monitoring with no contract - I am super happy with the pricing and level of service I received. Don't hesitate to use them for your future needs.

KNOX HOME SECURITY - An Extremely Welcome Wake-up Call…read more For more than twenty years, we faithfully paid our monthly fees to "Brand X" security. I won't mention the name, but I believe it is the largest in the nation. Service levels steadily declined, but they made up for it by steadily increasing their prices. After reaching the breaking point, I looked for alternatives. I found Knox Security headquartered in Scottsdale, but with nationwide connections. Here's what I learned. The hardware is better by far than that of "Brand X". The service is vastly superior to that of "Brand X". I actually dealt with human beings who were responsive, professional, and friendly. Best of all, I now pay less than half per month as I did with "Brand X". Had I made the move two years earlier, I'd have an additional thousand dollars in my pocket. I should have made "Brand X" into "Brand Ex" long ago. I've now had Knox on board for a month. It works great. It's easy to use. It looks great. And my monthly cost is less than half what it was.

I would highly recommend working with John compared with some of the other larger services that are out there.

When I called to cancel they noted the owner Lucas had to send over the form himself. I called today and spoke to Sara to get a timeline on the form and share their network is still trying to connect and sending us notifications. She seemed to get upset and note it was just her and Lucas running the company and there is nothing she could do it. I told her I understand but she started to blame the new company we went with and said they needed to take care of it. She seemed very confused and ended up hanging up on me because I asked her not to call me sweetheart. After hanging up she called back 10 min later and gave me a new name of Brandy and when I questioned if she was Sarah or brandy she said she had two names. Never acknowledged that she hung up and just noted she sent a note to IT and kept calling me honey and sweetheart. Just really bizarre behavior. The cameras - At first they were great, but then started to lag greatly. (We did upgrade the WiFi and all that) the doorbell was hit or miss sometimes it would record and other times it wouldn't and then eventually stoped working. When we would call to have someone come out they said someone would get back to us but they never would. The monthly price is low at 29.99 which is a big sell but you get what you pay for. We have our security system with Vivant and decided to switch our cameras with them and it ended up being the same monthly price but a company that has great customer service and responsive.
