Removed the Drives, now the tower is ready for recycling. Provided several options. He set up a laptop, we just happen to have external drive. Jason transfer the data to the new drives. They knew immediately what was going on and had me bring the drive in. It was failing hard, and we were not sure if the 2 TB of data would be salvageable. They ended up getting something like 99.9% of the data off the drive with minimal corruption -- I haven't gone through all 2 TB but so far I haven't found anything corrupted. It was just over $200 to get the data off the drive, which included a new WD Passport drive. Well worth regaining 5+ years of archived projects and photos. High fives all around.
