Removed the Drives, now the tower is ready for recycling. Provided several options. He set up a laptop, we just happen to have external drive. Jason transfer the data to the new drives. I took it to several computer repair shops, who all told me they couldn't fix the drive or restore the data. One guy suggested I try a data recovery service. After a quick search on Google, I found 911 Data Recovery. I completed the online form, and Brad called me the next day. I dropped my external drive off a few days later. Needless to say, not only did Brad recover the data I knew I'd lost, he also recovered data I had lost YEARS ago. I am one happy customer. That drive had 15 years of music, videos, photos, and college papers--bachelor's and master's--on it. I left angry and he came to my car and said he has to find the hard drive and to come back. When I retuned for the laptop he said I didn't have it with the laptop when I dropped it off, which I did. Then he said what do you want it for, your computer doesn't work. He's unorganized, messy, never there according to displayed hours. We recently moved to this area and needed work done on 2 of our laptops. Dropped them off and 2…read moreweeks later I received a phone call telling me what needed to be done and that they would call me when they were finished. 2 more weeks go by and no word. I called and found out that one laptop had been complete and was ready for pick up. I pick the laptop up and bring it home only to find that I had been given the wrong adapter and had to take it back to retrieve mine, but before I left, I had them power it on and make sure it worked before leaving. Once it was on, I figured out they had not done everything I originally asked for, so had to leave it there yet again. I also found out that they were still waiting on a part for the other laptop and had no clue when it would arrive. More waiting....I called and found out the 1st laptop was ready again, so I pick it up and bring it home. FINALLY it actually works correctly and all is good with that one (only took 5 weeks). A few days pass and I received a phone call that my 2nd laptop is good and ready for pick up. I tell them I will be there the next morning to get it. Once I show up, I am told that I need to wait so that they can double check and make sure it works. Not sure why they called to tell me it was ready without checking it, but ok....I'm there and I just want to get my computer and leave and be done with this. So, after about 15 or 20 more minutes of waiting, I ask how much longer. At that point, the 2 clerks start looking around....they cannot find my adapter nor can they find my actual battery. So, they give me someone else's adapter and pull a "brand new" battery and plug it into my laptop. At this point, I just want to leave and don't care if they can turn it on or not, so I paid and left. About a week goes by and I call and ask if they ever found my adapter or my actual battery because the "new battery " does not work at all. I can't unplug the laptop, it must stay plugged in to work. The girl that answered the phone says that I need to bring the laptop back in so that she can try to locate my battery and adapter, which I think is a total crock. No thanks....I would rather just purchase a new battery than to ever take my laptop back to them I would not recommend using this company at all unless you don't care to wait 6 or more weeks and don't care about customer service.
