Starting working on the power source issue, also clean up lots of dust, took it outside. Set up the computer, still no power, motherboard is bad. Removed the Drives, now the tower is ready for recycling. Provided several options. He set up a laptop, we just happen to have external drive. Jason transfer the data to the new drives. Provide great information and explained how to use the drive. While waiting for the data to transfer, Jason was very respectful, kind, understanding. Carl came out the next morning, on time, and was ready to go to work! There were a lot of problems after our lightning strike took out the router and all the settings were messed up on our network and domain, including the credit card machine. He had no idea what any of the previous settings were, but recreated our entire network nonetheless, working with comcast and the credit card machine company, including the software company that runs our business. He literally had to rebuild the entire system and network. It took 9 hours, he never got frustrated and always had a plan of action for the next step! He fixed everything at a very reasonable price! I had a problem running credit cards the next day because that machine lost the settings he had put in the day before and he called me after hours to help me out and get it taking cards again! This was definitely above and beyond. I've been dealing with computer tech help for 25 years now, and this is by far the most personal and caring company I've ever come across. Friday 13th was the fateful day when my laptop would not restart normally. It had crashed before…read moredozens of times in the past year but never like this. No matter which type of safe mode I selected, Windows wouldn't start up properly. The timing of the computer crash couldn't have been better, I was just about to save files onto a flash drive before a job interview when it went kah-put. What a day! With cautious optimism, I went for a second opinion. Jeff explained to me that the software they had for computer diagnostics performed wonders. Given the demand, I was told it would be a day or two before the computer doctor could diagnose and treat my laptop. I entrusted my laptop to them. And my boyfriend reassured me that my laptop was in safe hands. I waited anxiously. Oh how I dreaded the thought of all the files I had not saved and all the files I would have to recreate. A few days later, I received the prognostic for my computer. I thanked my lucky stars as soon as I heard that I would be able to regain my data. Two days after the diagnostic testing, my computer was released from the computer hospital as good as new. I am so happy to have my laptop back. I was this [........] close to hugging my laptop goodbye. I also learned that all those times I had rested my laptop on pillows, blankets, and other soft surfaces, I was allowing fibers to enter my computer and blocking air from entering my computer. I was lucky my fan hadn't demised too. My computer is a survivor. We have lots of good times ahead of us. And I owe it all to The Computer Fixers! With great customer service, talented technicians, and well done repairs, I can see why they have remained in business the past 19 years.
