CPR Cell Phone Repair - Cypress

I went into CPR Cell Phone Repair the other day because the home button on my IPad was sticking. I…read morehad previously had my IPad fixed at a different company but the home button stopped working three days later. Rather than going back and trying to get them to repair it again I decided to cut my losses and just pay for it to be fixed elsewhere. I arrived at CPR Phone Repair and the manager asked me if I had it fixed recently and says to give him a few minutes. He comes from the back with my IPad and tells me what the issue was, the previous repair person did not properly seal it after the repair. I asked him how much it would be for his services and he told me there would be no charge. I stood there taken aback because let's face it, nothing is free. I was assured that it wasn't necessary to pay him for the repair. Like most households nowadays I have a multitude of electronic devices and I know where I will be taking them all in the future. It's refreshing having a local business that provides such an excellent experience.

I swung by CPR and within 10 minutes he fixed the problem at NO charge. Their expertise has saved me from having to purchase new phones. I would highly recommend this company for repair needs. I was apprehensive at first when I saw the location, but it was a wonderful experience. I bought my…read morelaptop in 2013 and it started messing up on me about 2 years ago due to a virus. I searched for awhile for a comp repair store. I even called Best Buy Geek Squad who wanted to charge me $150 or pay $200 to get a 1 year repair warranty for up to 3 devices. I spoke to this guy behind the counter at Reboot Remedy. He told me how much it would cost which was significantly less than what Best Buy was offering. He also suggested updating my Windows and Microsoft to the latest versions, which would only cost $25 more. Due to the virus being pretty bad, he completely cleaned up my laptop...even removing some factory apps/folders that I never used. The files, pics, etc that I wanted saved, he put it in a folder for me. I was impressed that it only took 1 day to fix, not to mention, he called me first to give his suggestions and to let me know the price before doing anything. He also added links on my Google Chrome that I asked for and he also added an app on my cell phone! Everything done under $100. I will definitely return for future issues and recommend this place to family/friends for any comp or cell phone issues!

Additionally, they explained everything they did in understandable terms (I am not a "computer guy") and not condescending. Further, I had two cell phone problems which I wanted them to fix. They said this could easier be done with a $5 part and reinstalling the O.S. A different shop would taken advantage of an easy fix. Reboot Remedy reminds me of the repair places I used back in smaller towns; great customer service and reasonable charges. I had a laptop with a screen that stopped working. A different shop quoted $150 without even looking at it. Reboot Remedy told me it could be different issues and charged a small fee. They took the laptop apart, checked all of the connections (memory, motherboard, etc.). The laptop was repaired was repaired in a day. $43 to fix.

Need a new battery for your Mac? There's a shop for that…read more I began a new job with a Christian publisher in November 2019, working from home as their graphic designer. I'm also a media producer, video editor and hobbyist musician, putting my MacBook Pro through the ringer nearly 24/7. An aging machine, I needed to replace my battery again after noticing rather dramatic swelling under the trackpad over the course of a few days. I bought a battery online in 2016 while living in Baton Rouge, LA, only for the Genius Bar to tell me that my computer was 'vintage' and that they wouldn't be able to do the replacement. So I took it to a repair shop and after a day or so, they replaced it fine and dandy. I planned to do the same thing this time around here in the Houston area, but something told me to seek an Apple-specific store in this large city as to avoid battery costs *and* inflated labor. Enter: Experimax Klein. Dan and the rest of the team took great care of my machine, installing one of the batteries they had in stock while I roamed the store. They're wall-to-wall with iMacs, MacBooks, MacBook Pros, MacBook Airs, iPhones and a litany of accessories, all for the most reasonable of prices. In need of a newer machine, I was tempted to put down on one of the four 15" machines they had on display...but the budget doesn't allow it yet. For all intent and purposes, my Mac got a much-deserved spa treatment; within 30 minutes, the team swapped the batteries, blew out the dust and attached new feet underneath the unibody--the latter two were complimentary. The grand total: less than $120. I was about to spend that much ordering a battery online! It's one thing to have people who *know* Apple working on your machine, but it's another thing to A) have a knowledgeable team of people who will work on an older machine, and B) be able to walk in and get service, without having to deal with apps, appointments, crowds and red tape... So upon writing this, I just finished one of a series of edits for my entertainment broadcast in Baton Rouge. My machine is revitalized, my wallet is happy and I can't wait to return to Dan, Nestor and the crew at Experimax Klein for my new computer next year.

Not only that they are knowledgeable in resolving my computer problems, but they also take the time…read moreto explain the issue and offer recommendation for preventative measures. -PenTex Equipment
