They knew immediately what was going on and had me bring the drive in. It was failing hard, and we were not sure if the 2 TB of data would be salvageable. They ended up getting something like 99.9% of the data off the drive with minimal corruption -- I haven't gone through all 2 TB but so far I haven't found anything corrupted. It was just over $200 to get the data off the drive, which included a new WD Passport drive. Well worth regaining 5+ years of archived projects and photos. High fives all around. I even waited in my car for a while in case someone showed up, but no one ever did. Personally, I dont worry about what time the store may open. I never go until I call to see if I can bring my stuff in. So, I have never had to wait. A small business such as UZ Tech Computers may have to open late due to some reasonable issues... Heck, you might even find a good deal on rebuilt computers, if you aren't too picky. I did. Bought a desktop years ago, and it has worked fine. If it had not, I'm certain that Eddie would take care of the issue... I HIGHLY recommend UZ Tech for repairs, on both cell phones and computers.
