We were so happy that he was able to fix the screen within minutes; however, by the we made it home, the phone didn't work. The Sim Card didn't work. The phone was totally damaged. He was paid $100.00 for the service. I had to pay another $79.00 to get the phone repaired. I called the Repair Man back, and he basically dodged my call. This is bar far THE WORST business I have ever encountered. They take your device, dont give you a shred of paper as proof that they have your device, then they give you a day to come pick it up. The only problem is that they will not be there on that day! They will not return your calls. They close their store during business hours and leave. I am writing this review as I wait outside of their (closed) store. They were supposed to have my device ready for pick up 15 minutes ago.. But no one is here!! They wont answer my calls. There is a lady here that has been waiting for the past two hours!! This is ridiculous! I just want to pick up what belongs to me and NEVER look back. RUN! I am in the process of filing a small claims order against the owner Maks Mobile. My husband and I had a Surface Pro screen replaced in June 2016, in which he charged us 406.00 to have this done. This was not a problem for us to have this done because we needed it for work. In September 2016 the screen starting cracking from the side of the Surface Pro again, however it was not dropped at all. This surface Pro was barely used. We went to contact Maks Mobile for 4 Saturday in a row and he was not there. When we finally got in contact with him, he stated that he was not going to fix it because we had dropped it again. We did not drop this device. If we didn't have a problem with getting it fix before, why would we have a problem getting it fix again. I am very happy that MAKS fixed my laptop which is no longer covered under warranty. The lid would not close without causing further damage, and the hinges were broken. Before I saw the reviews on here I tried the Best Buy Geek Squad and also Toshiba's preferred repair company. Both of these companies informed me that I would have to pay over $100 just to get a diagnosis, and then the cost of repair. Plus I would have to drop it off for someone to get back in touch with me (Geek Squad) or ship it off somewhere (the Toshiba referral). MAKS was able to figure out the issue right away, and it only took a few days for them to get the parts in and complete the repair. I was so glad to get my Toshiba laptop back that I decided to take MAKS a Dell laptop that has been out of commission for over 2 years now (it broke and I replaced it with the Toshiba). My kids were playing around near the laptop and somehow the power button and casing were damaged so that I could not turn it on. When the laptop broke I called a few places and got the same story... bring it to us and we'll charge $100+ just to look at it, and if we can't fix it then you do not get the deposit back. Needless to say, MAKS did not see an issue with making the repair and I received it back in a couple business days. Not only that, but I had forgotten that the screen was broken on the laptop as well. I had been hooking it up to a monitor before the power button broke. MAKS called to let me know about the screen and proceeded with the repair after I approved. They even replaced the old lid with a new shiny one! It is great to know that there are still good businesses out there that know what they are doing and do not try to take advantage of customers. read more

This computer tech is a wizard. I had taken my five year old laptop to two other places and both told me the computer is DOA. I drove by his establishment and he said he would take a look at it even though others said the computer could not be repaired. Not only did he repair the computer it is working better and faster than ever and his advice to avoid future problems will go a long way to keep my computer running for a long time. My laptop was overheating and I brought it here to clean inside and to renew thermal pastes. Everything was working and I did not have any more problem with my laptop. After he opened inside he broke and damaged the motherboard. And he charged me to buy new motherboard which is $180. He said I am sorry but it is not my mistake foolishly. And he replaced motherboard then I took my laptop back. Then I realized the keyboard was not working properly. Then I went back here. Again he said I did not do anything to your keyboard, I just changed the motherboard, it is not my mistake. He said you should pay for the new keyboard. Then he ordered new keyboard but it did not work also. And he said I am sorry, I do not know what is problem, I will search for it and I will call you back, but unfortunately no answer from him. Then I went to another computer repair and he showed me the problem and the problem was with the motherboard(you can see from the picture.some missing little parts on keyboard controller, connector on the motherboard.) Then I went to him again and I showed him the problem, but he rejected me. Now I am using my LAPTOP with external keyboard and mouse. I am really disappointed with this stupid technician.
