Back on August 5th or 6th they fixed my Samsung S 22 cell phone. Tech Savvy fixed it in 1 day they gave me a price of $ 70 for changing the charging port. However, it started acting up again on September 1st. I took it to Tech Savvy again. I was told today that there is a 50/50 chance that they will be able to fix it this time, if they fix it, they will charge me $ 129, if it's not fixed there is no charge. I was told even if they fix it, I won't be able to use it, I can only retrieve data from it. Let's see if they are able to fix the phone this time or not!! read more

used to be a good place but the owner has grown an ego and doesnt know how to admit fault and take responsibility. I originally dropped off my 3080 graphics card and full PC because it was having graphics issues. I was told it would be a wire replacement that had melted due to heat because of the case. so I gave the approval to fix the part and I'd pay for services and parts. I also stated I would buy a new case and pay for the rebuild in which the company said they wouldn't charge me for the parts, just the service fee and rebuild fee into my new case. after everything was paid the issue persisted over the next two weeks and I requested to drop it back off. This excuse for a business had my graphics card for two months without any updates or resolution or any communication at all on next steps. when I reached out to express my frustration that it wasn't resolved yet and I'm needing it fixed asap, the owner who has not given me his name, decided to argue and become belligerent and egotistical. I requested documentation of communications and actions taken on their part and they cannot provide it which means their documentation is terrible. I wouldn't trust this place with anything that requires professional attention at all. go somewhere that is a more legitimate establishment trust me. read more

I really feel like they messed up my phone screen, quality is different, works more slower than before (got screen fixed due to water damage) and battery does even faster than before (paid $96). Atp i want some type of money back because i have to change my phone sense it even delays on my apps or uses. Apart from that they had supposedly "cleaned it" and my front camera is horrible and foggy. read more

I brought in my laptop, and told them my laptop would not turn on with my charger, but it turned on and worked with my wife's charger. I thought that they would check it out and sell me a new charger. Instead, they told me the bios was defective on the motherboard. I was charged $150. Of course, when I brought the laptop home and plugged my laptop in my charger, in did not work. I went to the store, and told them about it. The tech called the owner, and at first, they spoke English and then continued the conversation not speaking English. They did not admit their mistake or give me my money back. Honesty is important to me. TRUST was broken. read more

We recently had to replace the fans in our laptop, and Tech Savvy in Cypress came highly recommended -- I'm glad we gave them a try. The repair was completed within the exact time frame promised, and we received almost daily updates on the status. The work was done expertly and at a fair, reasonable price. Since I'm not very tech-savvy myself (beyond knowing how to turn a computer on), I had a few issues afterward. When I went back, the team immediately spotted what I was doing wrong and helped me get all my programs up and running again -- no judgment, just genuine help. It's rare to find this level of service, commitment, and professionalism these days. Tech Savvy is the real deal, and I highly recommend them. read more

Special needs daughter has shattered the screen on her iPad/speech device 2x in a 6week period. The team at Tech Savy in the HEB shopping center are super nice and willing to help you find a solution instead of just upsale. Quick one day turn around and even a same day when I contacted ahead. Hope we don't need any work in the near future but this is where I will be coming from now on. read more

Tech-Savvy Cell Phones Computers N More - iPad 7th gen screen broken - Mobile Phone Repair Near Me - Cypress, Texas

Afsheen VERY disappointed this time. We had an agreement in writing that they would replace, with brand new, screen, battery and charging port for $139. When they handed me my phone back I could tell the charging port was not a brand new one and it was missing a screw. I couldn't believe they would hand it back to me that way. The reason they gave was, it's used but it's an original Apple charging port which is better and they were doing ME a favor If I took it as is, they would reduce to $119 for the used charging port. I told them if they could do it for $100, I'd be a happy customer for all the trouble. They refused and said I could wait LONGER, they've already had my phone for an week, and they would change it for me right away to a new one and honor the original price! ....honesty and just doing what you say you're gonna do is all I ask! And when you get caught lying, just own it. $100 is fair and would have made everything good. And saved a bad review. Or just doing what you said you were gonna do. That would have solved everything! At the end they did it for $119 but now the bottom of my phone is loose, I assume from having to open it all up again and doing what they should have done the first time. I usually deal with a gentleman that's the owner and he would have made better decisions and resolved this and retained a happy customer but the lady, Afsheen, Instead of agreeing to a $39 discount and being honest. Her pride got in the way, didn't want the customer to win. So now, Over $20 nobody's happy, my phone has unnecessary wear and tear, now it's loose at the bottom, they wasted an additional hour of the technicians time, my time, they get a bad review and they lose a life long customer. Very bad customer service and bad management skills. Afsheen was was definitely "Profit" over "People". She could careless... read more

Fixed my ipad screen for a great price! Did it very quick ( a few days) and works amazing

My phone has been slow with swiping, texting, or even pulling up a photo since I went it in and got it fixed over at tech savvy. I went in to get my charging port fixed and they told me they had to replace multiple things to fix the charging port. Also got a screen protector and haven't dropped my phone once and it's already cracked. My screen also is a different color setting don't know what they did but I'm not going back. read more

My phone was unusable and screen had some light but basically dead. I figured I would see if a new screen would do the trick. When I walked in I was warmly greeted and told 'I've seen worse'. I am not sure if it made me feel better but it gave me a little boost thinking it may be salvageable. In addition they did quickly based on my schedule. lol and behold the phone works--just like it was new. No issues and impressed since it got run over by a car no less! Great people and great service. Plus they have tablets, laptops, etc for sale that all look in terrific condition. A hidden gem for sure! read more

I saw a few reviews so figure I would stop to see if they could fix. my phone. It got run over so my expectations were not high. However when I walked in I was warmly greeted and they said they would give it a shot. I actually asked if they could do it a bit quickly and they said not a problem. Well--I am impressed. They replaced the screen (phone was run over by a car) and it works great. The cost was minimal too! Very professional and absolutely know what they are doing. In addition to repairing phones, they have some cool gadgets, tablet, laptops, monitors and phones for sale. What a hidden gem! Great people and great service. Give them a try! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!!! I bought a "refurbished" iPhone 6s Plus, and it was the worst purchase I've ever made buying a cell phone. The main issue with the "refurbished" phone was how fast it drained power. I turned off all location services, notifications, and Siri for all my apps, including the "background refresh" option. I kept the screen brightness to super low and at times I felt forced to keep to set the phone to airplane mode because I was concerned of not being able to use it when I needed. I took it back to the store and they confirmed that it was draining battery faster than normal. They said they'd replace the battery with a new one and I was happy about their solution to this issue. After they "fixed" the problem, they gave me a call to come by and pick up the phone. I went to pick up the phone and went about my day. Thirty minutes later--not even an hour had gone by, and it was almost out of battery. It seemed they had lied to me. I became frustrated about how this could happen and somewhat confused about a new battery causing the same issue. I called back and told them nothing has changed. They asked me to bring it back and so I did the very next day. Long story short, I got it back after they "fixed" it for the SECOND time, and the problem seemed to persist. I didn't want to waste any more time or energy with this place and resorted to buying a new iphone at an AT&T store. I can't trust the workers here, their service, and definitely cannot trust their "refurbished" products. If you're reading this, save yourself the headache and pay for a new phone from a place that requires the products sold to be worthy of certification standards the big names like T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, etc. practice. read more

These guys are amazing when it comes to repairing computers and cell phones. It seems like there's nothing they can't do. Their prices are fair and their service is excellent. For them no job is too small and if they promise their work will be completed at a certain time rest assured it will. If I could give them a 6-Star rating I would. read more

They don't rip you off. They are fast and do great work! I dropped my iPhone a few months ago and eventually my screen stopped working. They originally were going to charge me $109 for a screen replacement, but they ended up not having to replace my screen. Instead, they fixed something internally and my phone is now as good as new! They only charged me $49 for the repair. My whole family comes here, and we are (unfortunately) regular customers. Laptop viruses, laptop hinge replacements, broken cell phones, you name it, we've done it, and they've fixed it. Our last laptop hinge replacement was $59 for both hinges. read more

I used Yelp to request a quote and information on replacing an iPhone 6 screen. Alex responded within an hour. I called later the same day to confirm availability and drove to the store. I was pleasantly greeted and the repaired phone was back in my hands 35 minutes later for a price within $10 of every competitor. Location of the store is convenient with plenty parking in a well maintained center. Would definitely use them again, if needed. Would definitely recommend. read more

Do not bother dealing with this company if you want them to honor their 14 day warranty. I had my cellphone's glass screen replaced here and within 7 days it had a small crack on the screen right at the earphone area center top of the glass. This company does NOT provide any warranty paperwork either. You don't given get a written or printed receipt. They only email you an electronic receipt with minimal information. I called and talked to the store manager about it. The store manager refuse to honor their 14 day warranty to replace the glass screen. Store manager stated that we must have drop our cellphone for the crack to happen. UNREAL...I tried talking to him two times over 15 mins and got nowhere. I contacted my credit card company and my credit card company is refunding me the money spent for the repair. My credit card will be back-charging this SQ *Computer (aka Tech Savvy Cell Phone Repair) company for the poor repair and not honoring their warranty. I wish I could give them Zero stars. Be warn! Do not use this place! There reviews are not legit!! I took my iPhone there was given a new screen that did not work properly or at all. It kept giving periods and wrong lettering. Never use them for screen repair... they obviously use generic screens! read more

I live in the area and went here to have my shattered iPhone 6 screen replaced. it was $119 and I was originally very pleased with the job. HOWEVER, not even a week later 1/3 of my screen(LCD) went black after I had turned it off overnight to charge. I took it to apple (where I should have gone in the first place!!) and they pointed out that I had the wrong glass screen with in minutes with out me mentioning it!!! After paying for the proper screen apple diagnosed that my LCD was damaged by the screen Tech-Savvy had put on because it was not the correct fit!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS FOR PHONE REPAIRS!!! It only would have cost me $20 and travel time to the apple store in the first place to have the repair done right read more

I don't write many reviews or good ones but these guys are legit! Took my iPhone 6 in to look at the signal issue and a 'key' issue! Ray gave me a loaner and tried to fixed my phone through all the methods possible! In the end they were honest and let me know it would be too difficult to fix and told me that it would probably be best to trade it in at apple for about the same price as replacing my logic board! ********** DO NOT USE THEM ********** took in an ipad for a simple repair, and they managed to damage the backlight on the display. they insisted that it was working when it left the store (even though my wife couldnt turn it on in the parking lot) - said it left the store, so its not their problem. they would not fix it or replace it and just wanted to argue with me about it. i have since had another company (much more reputable) look at the ipad, and they confirmed my suspicion that they did not remove the battery connection before working on the ipad, and the soldering job was absolutely terrible and resulted in several spots of current flowing where it shouldnt. i am now out an $800 ipad, and will be taking them to court. read more
