This is my second time coming here and my experience is as wonderful as my first. My laptop crashed on me randomly one nught and it wouldn't turn back on after multiple reboots, I sent a message to Abid and he responded almost immediately. This is going to be a broken record review of GTT services. Honest, fast, fairly priced with excellent communication etc. etc. This was my second time bringing my 2011 MacBook Pro to Mr Khan. This time the hard drive was dying. One day replacement of a better hard drive at a very good price. Loaded with my old data. Gave me back my old HD to destroy. He also replaced the cracked retina screen on my son's MacBook. Abid found him a half price deal on a replacement. In addition, a couple of years ago I brought my MacBook to Mr. Khan with a dying video card(?) He is so knowledgeable in his field that he knew that my particular model's video card had been recalled. Apple didn't tell me as much. But to their credit Apple did honor the old recall and, as others have stated, Mr. Khan Did Not charge me for the info. What can I say, Abid's services are amazing!! He is not only good at what he does, he also seems like a nice and honest person that is not out to rip you off. My iPhone 6s completely crashed, and I was only left with the option to restore it. This meant deleting all my data, which I had not backed up for almost a year. I was a little wary at first because this is a one man operation & he works out of his house.... But have no fear, Abid was there! I took my MacBook Pro to him after my hard drive crashed & the Apple Store basically said it was done-zo... I recently started a new job from home and the technicians messed up my hard drive trying to have an external drive booted to my PC. I was nervous about not being able to continue on with the job. I called around that same evening and at first with no response. Not even 20 mins later I received a call from Abid and I told him my issue and he said he would get to work on it ASAP. I dropped my computer off that evening and had him take a look. I even received a response that night after he got to working on it. He told me my issue and he even tried to get on the phone with the technicians at the job. After all the back and forth with the job after the third time, he was able to recover my desktop and restore my PC. I really appreciate his service because I had to take the computer back and forth like three times (like 2 days in a row). Each time he got to working on the problem immediately. My computer had been running slower and slower, "buggy", and I thought it was a Windows 10 problem. I called Abid and he asked me to bring it over that afternoon. After I described what had been happening, he listened to the laptop and diagnosed that I needed a new hard drive. A new battery was also a good idea, as long as we were opening it up. The estimate was from $375 to $400, and my laptop was ready in less than a week. It would have been sooner, but had to wait for the battery to be shipped. And all my data had been recovered! I had a broken laptop monitor in need of serious repair or replacement. I first took it to best buy who would not give me a price or date of return estimate. If I did not agree to the final price, I would not be refunded the shipping fee. I then found Abid online and visited him at his house as an alternative. Abid took several minutes to examine my laptop. He explained to me his findings and that he would likely need to replace it due to the extent of the damage. He was able to give me a price estimate that same visit and estimated it would take about 5 days for me to get it back. This initial diagnostic visit was free of charge. 5 days later, I received notice from him that everything was fixed and ready to be picked up. The price was exactly as he had said at our initial visit. He showed me the damaged parts on the inside of the monitor and explained again how it was unrepairable. I am now using the laptop to type this review and if I did not know the monitor was replaced, I would not be able to tell at all it had been broken. Overall, my interactions from Abid have been very enjoyable. As others have said, he is an honest man with integrity who will not attempt to cheat you. I am confident that I would not have found a lower price for the replacement or anyone else who would perform the service in as timely a fashion as he did. I am in law enforcement and therefore I was a tad nervous about taking my personal computer (Mac) to an independent repair person as I have seen and heard too many horror stories.
