I first searched on my trusty Yelp app some price quotes and on a Sunday, received a message from Katy Cell Phone Repair and brought it in the next day. Located inside a shared space with a shipping store, I was greeted by Ali and quoted a $99 screen replacement price. No passcode or further information was required. Within 2 days, the watch was completed and I was charged the quoted amount. Upon sending the video to my Chef friend, she was so shocked to see her watch restored! I feel good about my deed of repairing her watch, meeting a trusted and fair electronics repair team of Muhammed (that's my mnemonic to remember the duo's name: Muhammed Ali!), and keeping the electronics landfill low with a repair. So I used the "project" tab on Yelp to request a quote to see how much it would cost to fix. Ben at Intouch Wireless was the first to respond. Ben did not offer the lowest price but I chose him because of his detail answers and how quickly he responded to my questions. I showed up a few hours later when I got off work. Ben greeted me and was super friendly. He tested my phone before working on it to ensure I was correct about the issue I was having. He told me it would be about 30 mins to finish the repair. He was done with my phone within 20 mins. He tested my phone in front of me to show me it was working correctly. I really like how engaging Ben was and how he took the time to answer my questions and not over charge me once I showed up in person.

So I decided to try Batteries Plus. I am glad I did. Walked in on. Friday and was greeted by a nice employee.
