My expensive dell laptop gave me an error code. I researched the code and found that I could be mother board cpu failure. I am very computer savvy so I did some research. I read that if you open the back of the laptop and disconnect the external battery you have a good shot of fixing the issue. Dell wanted 259.00 this is a 2000.00 laptop and they wanted more money out of me. So I was like yeah no I'll do some research. I found out if you simply open the laptop up and remove the battery it will actually fully reset the computer and it was worth a shot. It worked! Believe he is the tech and owner. Seems like a bright guy and I love to support small businesses. Initial thought was a corrupt windows issue. $40 diagnostic. Issue was more complex. Ended up replacing the motherboard, cpu, fan, and upgrading the ssd. Total new money $730 of which I think $180. Not sure if it is a fair/good/great deal? Updated what was allowed today but system is requiring me to activate windows for which I was not given a key. Awaiting response via online chat as computer is not functional as is. Holding off on final review. *Received windows key quickly. All appears to be running. If this transaction concludes well I do have other projects to get down and love referring friends and family.
