I thought about it for a few hours and decided to head in myself to check it out and I always trust salesman when they ask specific questions and really listen; the gentleman behind the counter said that for my needs an upgrade for memory was not necessarily the best bet and as is would be fine. I was taking aback by his direct and honest opinion. I love the direct customer service as opposed to big box stores and with the 90 day warranty I don't think I could go wrong. I opted for an external CD ROM reader and external mouse and everything came to more than half of what I would have spent for a new machine. I brought it home. Everything was in perfect working order and I am 100% satisfied. When he asked if I was an existing customer when he rang me up at the register I said yes for like 100 years and he said we have not been in business for 100 years and I said OK well then maybe 50 he says how about 35. Anyway, their old location, "Laptops of Houston," had great reviews so I brought it here on a Friday. I asked them if it was the same staff and they said yes. It was $25 for them to take a look/diagnostic at my laptop. They were honest and said there was a good chance the damage may have gone to the motherboard. They told me they would give me a call on Monday. They did call me on Monday and said it was ready for pick up. They got my laptop up and running with a working mouse pad as well. I was so happy because I have had this laptop less than a year and I really needed it for school. It was $125 and their service was excellent.
