We arrived 15 minutes early, only to be told by the manager that we weren't on the reservation list. After showing her my confirmation, she eventually "found" our reservation. We were then seated at what she said was the last available table, which wasn't near a TV at all. To make matters worse, the TVs throughout the restaurant were so small that I couldn't comfortably watch the game from where we were seated. I asked if we could be moved, and while I UNDERSTAND there were no other tables available, what really bothered me was the explanation that followed. The manager asked how I had made the reservation. When I told her through Yelp, she said she hadn't closed reservations in time and had been too busy the day before to check the Yelp reservations. Respectfully, that's not the customer's problem!!!! MY issue is the false advertising. This was promoted as a COPA MUNDIAL watch party, yet there was no reasonable way for us to actually watch the game from our table. Had I known that beforehand, I would have chosen one of the many other venues available. By the time we arrived and the game had already started, my options were extremely limited. PLEASE If you're planning to come here for a watch party, don't. this restaurant is not equipped for that. Save yourself the disappointment and watch the game somewhere else. First off I/we really dug this place 2 yrs ago. Recently went back and boom totally different from what we enjoyed , turned to a shit hole! Customer service? Total crap. Rude employees,too expensive,up charges like crazy.they used to make your food with love and not weak. Well now it's like going to subway! If ya know what I mean skimped to the max! Service of the bar to get a beer . Totally ignored. Not to mention when I approached I turned to an employee that was highly unapproachable sipping on her monster sitting at the bar to ask if I can get service. She seemed like she hated life and me! She told me I have to wait till someone was available. After 20 mins. A young dude served me with a meaning he wanted to actually do his job. Thanks buddy! But after observing watching the young lady that didn't have time for me sitting on her break was approached by her friend for cocktails. She had no problem getting off her tired butt /maybe the monster kicked in? and serving her companions. Not bringing race in but honestly wtf! Money is money !!! My problem is not with the food or service. It's with whatever is going on behind closed doors. My very good friend is an employee there, and has been for a long time. Sadly, she is being SEXUALLY HARASSED from the self-proclaimed manager and son of the owner, who I believe goes by the name Alonso. He has repeatedly made SEXUAL ADVANCES towards her, and threatened her job. She's extremely frightened, as she has no idea if the next day will be her last. We're currently in a pandemic! No one can afford to lose their jobs right now! She's attempted to go to the police, but they claim no crime has actually occurred. Even human resources claims she has to hire a lawyer, to further handle the situation. Again, we're in a pandemic! Who can afford an attorney? None want to do a pro bono case like this one. I am no longer welcomed in the establishment, because I confronted the antagonist. To whom it may concern: Next time you want to write a review on how great this place is. Think about those who are being HARASSED, before you continue to show your support! read more

I'd rate a zero if possible! RUDE STAFF! Specifically the African American twerp with the braids. Derogatory comments with attitude and laughter, trying to egg on an argument. Customers don't need coaching on how to wear a mask, nor do they need their food to be held hostage. I understand your predicament to abide by mandates to stay open. Out of respect for your situation I had one on, just not to his liking. He's got a chip on his shoulder!! My family and I have been frequenting Aztec for 10 years. I went with my family and we all tried different versions of the Quesarito. The qiesarito is cheese cooked on the griddle until brown & crisp that is then topped with the meat of your choice, veggies, guacamole and then rolled up and wrapped in a tortilla. It was delicious! The meat was tender and flavorful. The cheeses did not overpower the other ingredients yet each bite was filled with toasty, cheesy goodness. They have a nice salsa bar and the atmosphere is california casual. I highly recommend it. read more

my daughter absolutely loves their bean and cheese burritos. I think they have good food for the most part. I only wish they were a little more accomodating on menu changes. I wanted a beef soft taco, not fried in grease and was told by the girl at the counter they only make them one way.... so, I opted for a bean and cheese burrito too instead of the grease. Some of the food tasted authentic, but some of the sides etc tasted like something from green burrito. I have been here several times for the taco's but this last time I got the Pozole soup and it was very good they make there own fresh corn tortillas so make sure to get the corn one. The soup was delicious with a squeeze of lime and added a little hot sauce to the soup which made it perfect. It had lots of large pieces of meat and enough soup for 2 people read more

Service -You order at the counter and they still ask if you want to leave a tip. They also charge 3% surcharge for using a credit card. The girl that took the order was nice! She let us know that Cali burrito was the special of the day! The Cali burrito came with a free drink for their deal of the day. Ambiance -The place is clean! No issues here Overall this place is clean and if you're in the mood for Mexican this place will get the job done!

They are ooozing with beef. I have never seen any place put this much beef on it. -shrimp taco; juicy and fat shrimp -fish taco: crispy, fresh fish. So crunchy and delicious Staff was super nice. The taco was amazing. Chicken tasted like it was shredded off the bone and not just boneless chicken breast which we find boring. Great flavors and chunks of meat which gave a home style taste and texture. The taquitos were as expected. Couldn't taste the meat and guac a little watery, but hit the spot if you know what to expect and roll with it. Salsas were all really great, but the chipotle one was our favorite. Friendly service as well and clean inside. Happy to have stopped by and would go back again to try a few more items.

I love the Cotija's Burrito and the fish taco. The Cotija's Burrito is ample with plenty of carne asada, ham, bacon, cheese, grilled onions, pico and guacamole. The fish taco is very tasty and is only 1.99. The cheap Pete in me applauds the low price. The wife gravitates towards the Shrimp Burrito. She orders it without rice and seems to really enjoy it. She cuts it in half and it makes two meals for her. Cotija's has changed over the past 4 years but still rates in our top 5 for the areas best Mexican food. Note: this location is takeout only. There is no place to eat outside or inside unless of course you eat in your car/truck/SUV or motorcycle.
