Terrible experience, we just had a swarm in a tree in our front yard. They quoted us $250 for extermination and checking all other places they could be around the property. He sprayed without telling us, and killed the bees, then all of a sudden a $700 bill was put in front of my face. Then to make it even better if there are hives on our roof he said, it would be $2200 to remove. All other companies I've contacted said this whole process including removal would be $500-$700 total. Absolutely awful experience. I would give 0 stars if I could! This company completely scammed my husband and I. They quoted us $150-$200 over the phone for bee removal, but when the technician arrived, he suddenly raised the price to $400. Instead of safely removing the bees, he stuck a pipe into the hole and gassed them, killing the entire colony without ever going into our attic to assess the situation properly. He then had the nerve to quote us another $200 to "remove the pheromones" -- which is absolute bullsh*t. Worst of all, he left all the dead bees behind, which can cause even more issues down the line. Total bait-and-switch and highly unprofessional. Do not trust this company. Extremely polite technicians, very fast response time, We were treating for bees for the last three years and it never really improved the situation. There were so many bees this year, we knew we had to do something different. APPC cut a hole in the floor of our shed and removed a huge amount of honey and bees. We have a one year warranty which is good. The only thing is they certainly are not cheap but if the bees are truly gone it will be great. We woke up to a bee problem in the middle of our backyard on Saturday--called AZ Professional Pest Control, and they were here in 30 minutes! Christian identified the bee type & located the nest immediately. He used a fog to "anesthetize" the bees & assisted in the removal. He taught us more about bees in the hour that he was here than we could've learned spending days on the internet. Work was guaranteed & when we did call back to ask questions, he reached out immediately & answered all that we asked. Complete SCAM business, they are even trying to impersonate "Busy Bees" an actual good pest control company. They said they need to "inspect" prior to giving a quote. Then they just did the work and did not say anything, then had over a $995 bill. The techs were at the location for less than 1 hour. Complete liars and a scam. Never trust this company as they are being deceptive at all angles. I filed a BBB complaint but they are not even accredited on the BBB and show an F rating with all customer complaints the exact same as this one and others in the reviews. I had a bee problem develop under the roof tiles to the right of my front door. On the plus side, these guys were able to come out the next day, which was a Sunday. However, the price changed from the $150-$200 quoted, to $399 once they were on site. They said it was "more complicated," even though I had explained the situation, and they were only here maybe 30 minutes tops. I was told that it should have been $500 though, so I "saved" money. Ha! In hindsight, I should have held off and called a couple other companies, but I have a 3 year old who I was concerned for. I'm $400 poorer, but at least they did get rid of the bees. Would recommend shopping around before using these folks. I always look at how much time/effort is involved and whether the price was justified. In this case, IMO, it was not. read more

They came out saying it was going to be $150-$200 to do a bee removal. After they came out they said it was going to be $1500 because of honeycomb was 30lbs. After finding a better company to do the work and save the bees they told us the size of the honeycomb shouldn't have mattered especially if they were just going to kill them. read more

I too called for bee removal. The techs knocked on my door, told my daughter they see the issue of the bee hive at my water meter. They did not consult me or talk about the cost until after they started exterminating the hive. They never discusses up front what they intended to do or the costs involved. $995 to exterminate the nest and an additional $1500 to remove the honeycomb to prevent bees returning. I found this to be very unprofessional. Not to mention the multiple holes they drilled in the meter cover. I would have appreciated discussing the process and costs prior to them starting the work. I had some Bee's gather under the eaves of my house at the corner by my front door. I watched them for a day go in and out of a small hole and decided to get someone out. I called this company and spoke to the person that answered the phone and told them what was going on and they said they could have someone there today. I asked about the cost and was told it would be between $150 to $200 for the service, i asked if they would plug the hole and was told it would cover everything. When the tech arrived I went out and spoke with him and he said he would suit up and take a look , after he looked at it I was told it would cost $395, he said there was a honeycomb in there and to get it out a hole would have to be cut into the house and cost $1300.00, I asked him to show it to me on his scope but was told he couldn't see it because they were going around another board. The bees were there 2 days tops, if there was a Honeycomb these were some super Bee's, it takes Bee's on average between 7 days to 2 months to make honeycombs. I contacted the company and told them about what the tech had told me and again asked about the $150 - $200 cost, all the tech was going to do was spray the hole, put a plug in and that was it. SCAN SCAM SCAM!!! We called this company out to look at our hive we have in our back yard. We were never given a price even after asking while we showed them the problem. The tech was there for maybe 20 minutes. Showed up at our door and GAVE US A $1000.00 bill and a quote for an additional $2000.00 to demolish our fire pit and retrieve the hive. Please keep in mind that we were never made aware of this before they started working and they didn't even remove the beehive. The only thing that was completed was extermination spray. When I called to ask the company what a typical extermination costs the girl on the phone said $150-$200.00. I then mentioned that we were charged such a high amount and I was curious as to why that could be? Our hive was in an easy to reach location near ground level. She proceeded to tell me that they'll have someone call me back. And was immediately defensive, rude AND HUNG UP ON ME. I was calm and professional asking for a time I can expect a call and if I can have a number she said no and hung up. It looks like I will not be getting a call back and we are out $1000.00.. I had an old hive in my crawl space/attic that even my regular exterminator would not touch due to the attachment under the roof area. They came out in less than an hour and got right to work. They even lined me up right away with a roof guy to handle the roof afterwards that needed to be put back into place and fixed. He came by in less than an hour as well! Late yesterday afternoon a sudden swarm of bees was flying above and behind our shed in a tornado like fashion. They were flying down the back of the shed and going underneath. First thing this morning I called AZ Professional Pest Control. Christian was here in about an hour. He sprayed under the shed, then lifted up the floor of the shed and removed the beginning of honeycomb and filled with a substance that discourages other bees from living in the same spot. Oh! There were still bees buzzing around when they left, but they told me to give it 7 days for all the activity to cease. I wanted to wait until the bees were fully gone to write a review. It's been 4 days and all the bees are gone. I have had bees removed from the same spot before but the last pest control guys never mentioned that there could be honeycomb in that that would attract back another hive. I simply called for advise and possible bee removal--the man I spoke with, Kendall, suggested we take our hummingbird feeders down for a week, and that should take care of the problem. Simple, yet not something I would have known. This company could have scheduled a "bee removal" and I readily would have scheduled it--this is an emergency for me. However Kendall gave me some ideas to fix it ourselves, probably saving us a lot of money. That meant a lot. There really are good, decent businesses out there. They explained that they would be able to dispatch someone over immediately to take care of the issue. About 45 minutes later Marcus arrived at my house to take care of the problem! He was extremely friendly and explained that he was going to inspect my home fully to find out what was going on. It turned out the bees were entering through a roof vent and were making their way inside through the bathroom vent. Marcus took care of that issue quickly and also treated the rest of my home so that no bees would return. I even received a 1 year warranty covering my entire property! I would give less than 1 but not an option. I had one of the most unprofessional service quote from a company that I think I have ever received. I was trying to understand the quote that was provided after they looked at the bees during a visit which had to only last about 10-15 minutes. When asking the agent specific questions regarding their evaluation, I was met with such, I'll just say it, rage. I was asking my questions in a very professional manner as a customer trying to make the best choice on taking care of this hive removal. Is this how you earn potential business, by getting angry with customer questions trying to understand the process? I would think the better approach is to try to validate the quality of the business and why what they were suggesting is the proper way to proceed. Maybe it's just me that most people are willing to give away their money with no questions. So, if you are someone who wants that type of service, then use these folks. The total bill was $2,550. They called items 1 to 2 inches in size a separate nest to reach 16 nests. I had a great experience with Arizona Professional Pest Control today. I have had a bee problem in my roof for the last few weeks and decided this was the weekend to get it taken care of. I called Arizona Professional Pest Control and explained my issue and to my surprise they arrived to my house within 1 hour of calling on a Saturday. They took care of the bees and explained everything that needed to be done in order to clear this problem up permanently, which included extracting all of the honeycomb that was produced inside my roof. They were quick, efficient and very knowledgable. They even scheduled everything with the company for the roof repair and had them out the same day as well. Yesterday I was working in my garden and noticed there were a lot of bees all over the place. Not uncommon since things are flowering but it was definitely more than usual. I assumed it was due to the warmer weather & they were just more active but they were also buzzing around me & even bumping into me a couple of times. I went to get something out of my shed and realized there were even more bees buzzing around. I looked around the side of the shed and there was a huge clump of bees down towards the bottom - when I was looking at it one FLEW RIGHT AT ME AND STUNG ME IN THE FOREHEAD! He got straight to work & after taking care of the bees he cut a hole in the shed floor and took out a HUGE honeycomb. No idea how long they were in there but it was impressive.
