Freshly prepared, we tried vegetable Samosas, Chicken Tikka masala, matar methi paneer and kababs. All tasted amazing! I cannot believe this place is even in the same restaurant group as the Ayesha in midtown....we ordered from here for delivery, but we have ordered from the midtown location multiple times. We only ordered from here because the midtown one closed temporarily. First- the mango curry in midtown uses dark meat chicken, and they sear the chicken or fish before mixing it with the curry. The Key Biscayne one, this one- just boiled the fish and chicken breast. Additionally, the chicken mango curry for some reason is super bland. Additionally, they packed all the curry in a paper foil container, and it leaked everywhere by the time it was delivered. Very disappointed..... will never order from this location again read more

One thing I don't get to have enough is good Indian food, but when I was on Key Biscayne, this place had nice ratings so I decided to stop by and give them a try. The bread they offer was great and hard to just let sit; I must have had 2 nice servings and I had to stop or I wouldn't have been able to finish my main course. 4/5 Chicken Apna Curry $17.95 was full of flavor, but the chicken was a little overdone and a bit dry; the sauce was excellent which to me was the saving grace for the dish, but still, the sauce over white rice was a really nice distictive taste you won't find at too many places. I thoroughly enjoyed the ginger taste along with the tomatoes and fresh garlic, it all was good. I'd like to return the next time I'm in this part of town and look forward to trying something else. read more

Stopped here on the way to a beach in Key Biscayne with my date. The plaza this restaurant is located in is lively with clothing, decor, and wine/spirit shops close by. We chose outdoor seating as the weather was beautiful. We found the table to be a bit low as a couple with longer legs, but it was manageable. I am *not* a beer person but when I tasted my dates beer -- I was pleasantly surprised (not enough to order myself one, but that is neither here nor there). The food was severed in a timely manner and the waiter was knowledgeable about the ingredients and gave us a few suggestions. Everything was enjoyable. This place is great! The food is always high-quality and you can definitely tell that there was care put into each recipe. One of the best things about this restaurant is the quality is always consistent. When you order some thing hot, it will come out hot each time you visit. I have noticed in the past with different restaurants that when you order specifics about the pepper intensity, it can range greatly from the hand that is preparing the dish. Unfortunately, my server was new and when I asked her how long the restaurant has been at the Key Biscayne location, she didn't know the answer but didn't ask to find out. The papadum was stale to begin with.. cold and dry... the lamb Rogan Josh was ordered medium spicy so being bland,I asked for some chili sauce or flakes,Mike brought me a paste that was rancid and seemed like it had been sitting somewhere for a spell... For a tiny town, this is a bit special -- a more-than-decent, full-featured Indian restaurant. The staff is friendly, the food tasty, and the location is central in Key Biscayne. There is outside dining in these COVID times, which makes it dog-friendly (even though the view, sadly, is just the parking lot). I cannot say this is the best Indian food I've ever had, but it's certainly a solid B. Some of the chicken dishes were overcooked and dry, even though they were swimming in spicy, creamy sauces. The other appetizers were good, and the tomato soup was well done. As for the naan -- well -- carb lovers will be quite pleased. After a client had ordered the same meal from this restaurant two days in a row... you know yo gurl had to be nosy and order for herself (points at self). As I only had about 5-10 minutes from order time to pick up available... I asked for the two dishes I could think of off the top of my head. Vegetariam samosas: they had a kick! The consistency and filling was so yummy and warm. The flavor was spicy for me... although I will say my spice tolerance is NONE. So keep this in mind if you truly cannot do spice. There was a blend of spices on top that made the pastry a bit too salty to bite. I wiped off the spices and it was perfect. Chicken makhani: so buttery. So delicious. I almost build a second stomach when eating this dish as I love it that darn much. Their interpretation whole heartedly gets 2822727 stars from me. I forgot to order naan... make sure you do so you can soak up the yummy sauce! Lawd. So good. Over all.... so long as they maybe remove the spice from the top of the samosa (made it very salty)... this is one of the top two Indian meals I have had in the city of Miami. I haven't ordered from Ayesha in about a year- but boy have they gone downhill. I got an order to go and when I arrived home they forgot to give me my side dish. What I did order was just "ok." The chicken masala wasn't very flavorful and there was barely any chicken in the sauce. The samosas got way smaller (and they didn't give us any chutneys for them). Today I picked up my missing cauliflower order and it had four little pieces. Not worth it. The service isn't great and the food isn't that good either. Although it didn't replace Bombay as my knockout naan destination, Theo H is right their basmati rice is delicious. I could eat a bowl of this rice with just some sauce and be sated. I decided to skip the typical NYE fare and instead, come to dinner at Ayesha and watch the fireworks from Key Biscayne. I am glad I did. I have heard that Ayesha is currently the highest-rated Indian restaurant in Miami. An Indian friend told me this, and he said the food was quite authentic. The place is located on the second floor of a strip mall, and it's quite small and cozy. To start out, we got complimentary papadum with chopped onion dip. I got the Mango Lassi and cheese Naan. The Naan was packed with cheese that was coming out of the edges, was hot, and delicious. I loved it! The Mango Lassi was also thick and delicious. Before I knew it, it was gone. For my main course, I got chicken tikka, which was delicious and sizzling. The chicken was very tender and flavorful. Ayesha is not particularly cheap, so bear that in mind. The quality makes it worth it though. The service is efficient, and there is an outdoor seating area if you prefer to sit outdoors, as the place can have a strong odor of food and seasonings. read more

We are new to Key Biscayne so I wasn't sure where we should order from for my birthday. I chose Ayesha and I was so happy with everything! Our picky 4 year old ate samosa, rice, tandoori chicken but her favorite was the malai kofta i ordered for myself. Ordering on the phone was easy and the person I spoke with answered my questions. It'd been a bit since the last visit to Ayesha on Key Biscayne. Ate inside on a Saturday night, had a reservation (didn't need it). They were lightly staffed but still pleasant and attentive. Started with the A M A Z I N G Lamb Chops appetizer - perfectly cooked and seasoned and delicious - added some "plain" naan (all naan is good all the time). Order them! Shared the Butter Chicken and the Paneer Tikka Masala on some Basmati Rice (we ordered everything mild - I know but last time we over "spiced"). Rice, delicious. Sauces, delicious. The portions seemed small but we weren't able to finish them. Consensus... Another enjoyable experience. Fortunately, there are three more "Ayesha" restaurants - so go visit one near you! read more
