They have an ok amount of flavors of paletas (& toppings) as well as boba teas for the island- I'm sure they've done their research, but not nearly as much as some of the places in the surrounding areas. It's family owned & operated which is nice & gives it the family feel but it seems like they don't have quite enough help with everything. They can use a bit of regular cleaning, the area where people can sit always has crumbs & just lots of little garbage on the floor & doesn't seem like it's cleaned regularly.

If you could feel that way about coffee, I'd be feeling it about the coc toasted coconut iced latte at agua miel. This shop is located in the Key Biscayne welcome center, and I discovered it as part of my visit to the farmer's market on Saturday. I opted to enjoy mine with oat milk, and my bestie got one with regular milk and decaf coffee. We both became obsessed as it was one hell of an iced latte. The folks there were super friendly, and the other variety of coffee drinks and matcha looked delicious. I will be back because I am hooked. I did also notice in my research that they have another location in the Doral Yard.

Tonight we wanted a nice meal and after looking at the usual options in the other plazas, I saw this one. I am thrilled we have it a chance! The service is wonderful, cheery, just happy! The menu is one where you have quite a few options to pick from because it's not just one or three dishes you'll eat, but you'll have to pick from one of the 3 you finally narrowed down to choose. Cocktails are great, pricing is great, and the atmosphere is beautiful. This is our go to spot on island. I'm glad we finally found a spot as we have not been happy with current selections. We've tried a few and they left us wanting. Portions are generous and the meals have been carefully prepared. Lamb ravioli with a mushroom sauce was delicate and heavenly. The Francesca Milanese was a delight with every bite. You shouldn't leave hungry but do come in wanting. We will return!

During my stay at the Ritz Carlton, I decided to visit the coffee shop, Key Pantry. I was astounded…read moreto find out that they had matcha on the menu, as it is my favorite drink! My expectations were quite high since it's a part of the Ritz Carlton, as well as the fact that I'm a barista myself. However once I got the drink, I was throughly disappointed. The barista hadn't mixed in the powder well and so every sip was a mix of liquid and chucks of matcha powder. It was also $7 which is unreasonable for something I was presented with. I asked the barista to mix it more and he looked as though he knew he had made it wrong, but didn't care whenever he served it to me. I appreciate the barista for fixing my drink but overall it wasn't a great matcha. Don't waste your money here.
