Went in to grab some frozen yogurt, realized I forgot my card and tried to pay with my sister's Apple Pay. It didn't go through, and I explained the situation honestly. The guy working there acted like I was trying to pull a scam for a $9 yogurt. Most places I've been to would've just said "it's fine" and let it go, especially if you're clearly not making a habit of it. Instead, this guy acted like he was guarding national treasure. It was awkward, uncomfortable, and honestly embarrassing over something so minor. Shops like this claim to be community-oriented but can't show a shred of grace when it actually matters. Walking in to this place right away is off & is not like any other FroYo spot I've been to. It smells, I don't know what the smell is but it is just bad. I asked the person working there and supposedly it was the empty suite next door causing the odor. The machines were clean & seemed overall ok. The yogurt machines aren't always all functioning but there were a few flavors to choose from. Coming out of the machine you can see right away it doesn't even look like FroYo, it had the consistency of ice cream that was left in the freezer too long, or somewhat like sherbet. Unless you get plain yogurt flavor or fruit, it taste "off" the quality is not good and it is expensive in comparison to other, much better places. KB deserves a much better FroYo spot. read more

The place itself stinks! They either have a horrible leak (imagine a waste pipe leak) or they clean the place with water that just smells. The couple of times I have gone it always smells. But the machine and front look clean so I cut them a break. Another strange thing is Sometimes you go in and there is only two flavors , they have at least machines for 8 flavors. I know they have to clean the machines but they should never be done at the same time! The yogurt it self is more like a ice milk dessert. I walked in and the place had a foul smell. Like when you mopped the floors with dirty mop water. It's a smell that is hard to get out of your noes. Even the napkins had the stench. They were out of chocolate and the chocolate chips were melted together and had turned white a sign they were old. It is sad it's a great idea and can easily be kept up by the worker there. We visited this place today and upon entering, it's a very small yogurt place. Not much room to walk or stand around. Even in Covid times. It also smelled pretty bad and as a family, we felt it was hot inside the little shop. The cashier was really nice and attentive. I felt the yogurts were a bit pricey. I paid $36 for four people. Because about four yogurt stations were out of service and it smelled bad, I could rate this place a 3. Yogurt wasn't bad and service was good so I am rating this place a 4. Found this self-serve Froyo place on yelp while glee riding through Key Biscayne. I chose to visit this location over the other froyo business down the street because of the other one's 3 star average and mentioning of some dude who works there with a bad attitude. This location is kind of tiny, but they managed to place a few tables inside and about 3 tables outside. The girl worked at the counter had a smile and was friendly. I chose the red velvet froyo and put on multiple toppings such as fresh fruit, nuts, and chocolate sprinkles. They have a very good choice of different topping not limited to fresh fruit, nuts, sprinkles, cookies and candies etc. Problem is outside of the toppings, I really did not like the red velvet flavor, It did not taste like red velvet cake at all, but more like an offshoot of it. Which is odd because red velvet cake( I mean the cake) is one of my all time favorites. Lastly the prices here seem to be very reasonable for weighted froyo. read more

Yogurt was 50% water and without topping had no flavor. The bill for 4 cups of yogurt was over 35.00$ and when we tried to figure out why they were so expensive the lady working couldn't even give as a receipt. read more

I stumbled upon Yogurt By U while enjoying time on Key Biscayne with some friends. Since this is a self serve froyo place there was little room for error but unlike some other reviewers our experience was was nice. We were given small tester cups to try the different flavors before committing, the machines were clean and the staff was friendly. They have several different flavors to choose from and countless toppings that I am sure vary according to what they have on hand. It was pretty cheap but all of these places are by weight so you truly have control over how much you spend. They have some seating inside and out but not a lot. read more

I really recommend this frozen yogurt.. It's an excellent place to refresh not only for kids but also to adults... There are a variety of flavors and all of then really good.... My favorites are original tart, strawberry, and dulce de leche... The place is always super clean and the girls that work there are very helpful, informed, and always on top of everything ... There are too many toppings and all of then delicious and very fresh ... You also have more than 10 sauces to finish you frozen yogurt and make the experience even better. read more

This yogurt joint is a real rip-off. There are no prices posted, so you have no idea how expensive this place is until they weigh your cup after you help yourself at the self-serve bar. Three of us had a medium amount of frozen yogurt and toppings, filling our "small-size" bowls only about half full, and the bill was over $24.00! Ridiculous! I wouldn't even have minded paying it if the yogurt had been better quality, but the vanilla flavored yogurt was horrible. Both the texture and the flavor were awful. It was literally the worst frozen yogurt I've ever tasted. When we questioned them about the price, they said that they USED to have a big sign with prices listed, but they didn't need to have a sign now because everyone just knows the prices. I've never heard anything so ridiculous in my life. When we questioned them about the vanilla, the girl served herself some, and said that "it tasted like vanilla". So, I guess it always tastes that nasty. To be fair, the chocolate and the banana yogurt wasn't bad, but the vanilla was disgusting. I will never buy frozen yogurt from them again. read more

This ice cream shop is filthy! Go somewhere else! The floors are disgusting, the walls are all stained and dirty with old ice cream, there's rust everywhere and they don't even bother to clean the backsplash of the ice cream machines or the drip. They just let the ice cream/yogurt dry and get crusty. When you go inside the store smells horrible, like public bathroom smell, like that smell of public bathroom and chlorine... truly disgusting!
